Sunscreen does not cause skin cancer. Rather, it is poorly formulated sunscreens that don't block out UVA radiation (the ray that doesn't burn you but wrinkles you) that are the culprit. Broad spectrum sunscreens which block both UVA and UVB have yet to be proven anything but safe.

@lol365 That is absolutely true. UVA and UVB must be filtered from the skin. Especially if you have red skin naturally.

a far better way to deal with uv rays is to take niacin a half hour before sun exposure.

both of my parents got skin cancer...from being in the sun too much...and not ever wearing sunscreen so...'combemodern' is clearly dimwitted
