  • It's strange really...you think someone as beautiful as you would worry about nothing, but in reality you are also insecure about your own body in some ways. I think everyone goes through this process and i also think we should think of this as oppurtonities to make ourselves stronger and boost our self-confidence^__^

  • I know this is about loving yourself. But You are perfect I want to be you! :D You have the worlds best smile perfect teeth And your make up and face shape and body shape is wonderful.

    :D Your like...awesome..

  • seriously. I love you. I'm gay. But still I wish I knew you personally. Love your videos and love your person! Keep it up! You rock!

  • I love your laugh. So cute. I agree about running. I've started it last year (2011). And boy, the results are amazing. I don't run that long or that far. But it has benefits beyond just physical, its mental and spiritual. Also i wanted to get my cardio up, cause i Know it was horrible. Great video. love you!

  • everybody is insecure about their body. myself, as a dancer, i have to be. i'm naturally curvy/chubby and have to work hard at the athletic body the girls around me seem to obtain easily. besides people like me, people should love their body type. and if you're really umcomfortable, change it. bodies are just bodies. a container. adjustable, really.

  • Good one!!!!!

  • @RomulusAquilius I don't understand either. :/ I have a channel, but there isn't anything on it. I would certainly love to continue this conversation.

  • @AwesomenessIAC It just says your channel is not availale. One idea might be for you to message me via my channel, then i can return to you that way ;-)

  • @AwesomenesslAC

"Fearfully and wonderfully made" how amazing is that? "God has known us from the womb" Wow! and form before that, when the foundations of the world where laid. "He created us, inside and out" this is to much! He knows our frame, He knows our raising up and our laying down, I've got to stop! i can't get my head around this sometimes. And what realy blows my mind is, He has created us in His own image, ALL of us.

  • you're funny

  • Comment removed

  • The Bible says that everyone is fearfully and wonderfully made, that God knew us while we were still in the womb, that He stitched us together piece by piece. He created us to be who we are, inside and out. That's enough for me to like my body. :D

  • @AwesomenessIAC

That's a fantastic point you make, though it's something lots of people struggle with, including many Christians. I have friends that think themselves as grotesqe and ugly, they know the passage you talk of very well, and whats more they are truly beautiful.

The Bible also tells us that Gods love for us is completely unconditional and immeasurable, how? For He so loved the world, He gave his only Son.

So we should learn to love ourselves as He loves us.

  • @AwesomenessIAC I completly agree with your comment, can't understand why it's been marked as spam. Would there be a way that i can contact you through the pm's. I would like to carry on this conversation with you if possible. I've tryed to access your channel, but you don't appear to have one set up :(

  • Hey

Let me meet you before we get any older, i wanna improve my accent. I am confident with my face but not with my accent;)

  • to not be at war with your body. …to not be at war with yourself. …now that would change the world!

  • Yes, you are a good advocate for moderation, many thanks.

  • Bravo - well said!

  • I meant I completely agree

  • You completely agree

Your videos inspire me to love life

  • @kemcyPeace Me too

  • Awesome!

  • It is amazing how much you and Amy, the lead singer of Karmin, look a like!!!

  • "...but I am a woman! To really embody that, I have to have some curves...I have to have that softness...Otherwise, I think women can really look like a girl, or like a boy." - "I don't think it's possible to really embody the fullness of femininity without some curves"

Wow. As a guy who can't put on weight to save his life, it's a good thing I'm not a woman then?

Surely it's just as bad to imply a woman needs curves/femininity to be a "real" woman as it is to imply they should be thin?

  • very interesting. struggling with eating disorders, im so focused on getting rid of everything and being at war, like you said. i dont even know what's healthy and if it's the same thing as good-looking.

  • Thanks for embracing and being proud of femininity. I feel its hip & trendy for ladies to compete and be equal with men on each and every level - even to adopt male characteristics. As if pride in a (typically) male trait (such as phys. strength, aggressiveness & the like) is somehow a slur on the ladies. Its small unattractive and unappealing. How attracted I am to ladies who identify and embrace their femininity!

  • I love how jealous fat bitches give skinny women a hard time, out of jealousy or maybe even just genuine contempt, but as soon as someone calls them out on it they whine about their "low metabolism" yet they think it's ok to slam people for having a high metabolism. on that note I'm sick of jealous acting like being attractive automatically makes you a "slut" or a bitch, many of my female friends are good looking and they're also the nicest people I know, women need to stop hating on each other

  • @Ihatemyusernamemore THIS!!! exactly as you say. women should stop hating eachother/themselves.

Do what you can to be HEALTHY!!! that is all that should matter.

  • I don't care if you have fats rolls, cellulite, bones sticking out, or what ever it may be....as long as you have beauty on the inside, it is guaranteed to radiate to the exterior.

  • I love you so much <3 knowing even you struggled and got this far is so reassuring, especially as you're undeniably gorgeous.

  • Your videos are good, but they would be even better in high quality.

  • Love your happiness!! if you want to call it that, it's infectious, made me smile! :) Thanks xx

  • Fuck image. Be healthy, and part of being healthy is having confidence.

  • Thumbs up if you think all the body hate should stop and that we should appreciate ALL body types. No more "love your curves!" or "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!" Let's make it more like, "Love your body, the way it is! it's the only one you have!" Agree?

  • @TheMusiclvr18 YES! We’re transmuting body-hate into body-LOVE!

  • @amiablewalker That's exactly how it should be! :D

  • I was taught something from a very early age, and it's stayed with me, and served me well, it's simply "I should never judge a book by it's cover" I learned also that I should never judge at all.

This body is a means of getting about, who cares what it looks like? I mean, i should limit the damage i inflict on it over the years, especially as time goes by.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so it is up to us as individuals to seek the beauty in everything we see. I believe love has no form.

  • @RomulusAquilius Yes! Or love has Every form. ;-) We just have to see it, create it, share it, be it. Vibes to you and your glorious body!

  • I have had an eating disorder for over a year now and I've been hospitalized three times. This video was amazing to watch, and it honestly made me feel a little better. Hearing this opinion of a female's body, especially coming from someone I admire so much, was just great. Thank you for posting this video. =)

  • Real women have curves!

  • Would it have been recorded on "December 16th, 2011" instead of "December 16th, 2012"... considering that December 2012 hasn't happened yet... Just wondering!!! :D

  • @RaeNight Oops! I'll fix it :)

  • A girl said I had a nice butt, not sure if she meant that as in I would have a really nice butt if I was a girl. Strange, but I took it as a compliment.

  • Sensuous curves!

  • ugh, im sorry, but these comments are annoying me. all people talk about is "loving your curves" while bashing girls who are really thin. I have been very underweight my entire life and i am mocked everyday for it. people laugh at how thin my legs are and the boys call me "anorexic" and say i'm fake and bitch about me. its horrible. i am naturally skinny ok? i'm sorry, i'm just tired of us thin girls getting crap all the time. its hard for us too. being thin shouldn't be seen as a bad thing too.

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 im sorry that that happens to you! i totally agree with you- i have a friend who is super skinny but so is her mom and so is her grandma! don't let people talk to you like that!

  • @leorabk thank you x i hope your friend doesn't get treated like how i am.

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 Thank you for saying this. I am SO SICK of people acting like I'm a bitch or like I starve myself because I'm naturally thin. People think it's okay to point out to skinny people that they're thin or that they should "eat more" when they don't know what it's like.

  • @HannahCruickshank i'm sorry that you are going through the same thing as me :( i'm really insecure about my size so i wear baggy clothes and try to hide my legs behind my bags so people cant see and laugh at me. and yes, you are so right. it seems as though only "curvy" girls are allowed to love thier bodies while we have to feel bad for being thin ;(

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 i eat more food than most teenage guys I know, but I am still skinny. Because I don't have a lot of fat on my body, I am more affected by cold. Sometimes when I complain about being cold people reply "You're a twig! What do you expect?". My dad used to complain about how skinny I was and tried to make me eat more when I was already eating a lot. I'm seventeen, but often people think I'm 16 or 15. I don't have a lot of those "curves" and the teasing hurts. Thanks.

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 yeah i totally agree us skinnys have gotten a bad rep. i've had probelms with being underweight since i can remember. It drives me crazy when people assume that if you're skinny you're skinny by choice. people focus way too much on weight anyway, in my opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 I get you and I agree but our society makes people think you might be anorexic and you are part of the society and support its effects just like I do. also the numbers of anorexics DO rise faster than ever before and I know some girls saying they are naturally skinny but I never see them eat the whole day. others who really are naturally skinny should check on having a thyroid hyperfunction. being skinny can be unhealthy! I'm sorry for your trouble anyway x

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 While I agree with you to a point, there is much more social, political, and general pressure put on those who are overweight then those who are underweight, even though both are equally unhealthy. Your skinny body is more likely to be held up as a positive example of 'beauty' than those with a few extra pounds. However, I do feel it is wrong to stigmatize your body as well.

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 wow. well, there's a voice you don't hear very often. that's cool! ^_^ An eye-opener. I didn't think there was stuff on the other end. I'm sorry for the crap you might get. But being thin is alright. Yknow, as long as you're healthy :D

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 You are completely right, no body type should be knocked down. Many times people think that being thin is easy and the only people who have body issues are over weight while in reality everyone has body issues. What people need to stop doing is comparing themselves to others. As long as you are healthy then people need to except themselves for who they are no matter what shape or size. Everyone is unique and beautiful, and nobody should feel down on themselves big or small

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 being underweight is not healthy. DOn't take my word for it, go ask your doctor

  • @TheEd0206 It's not necessarily healthy or unhealthy. If that's her natural weight-range and her body is getting everything it needs, there's no detriment.

  • @xVancha No, there is such thing call a Body Mass Index, you can look it up in the U.S Department of Health and Human Services website. It's a calculation of much you should weight depending on your height and if you are considered underweight by the calculation, that is not good for your health. Also if you are a woman and you have the right Body Mass Index, you should be curvey..

  • @TheEd0206 I'm afraid you lose all credibility if you think someone can be judged as healthy or not based solely on their BMI. To say that the body mass index has it's flaws is an understatement...It classifies the fittest people in the world as unhealthily obese.

Again, different people have different natural body types (which BMI doesn't account for), and what's underweight for some may be the natural weight for others.

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 I totally agree. I'm actually kind of at nice middle point, which is nice, but every time I see the phrase "Real women have curves" I feel kind of insulted, or just like it's wrong. If you don't, then you're not a "real woman"? I don't understand why it's become okay to say that!

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 im naturally skinny, and i dont think that theres anything wrong with it :)

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 You prob have an Ectomorphic body. I am a guy and have it. It sucks because it's hard to gain muscle/fat and even though I am nearly 180 lbs (not ripped, average), I still kinda feel like I am 135 lbs.

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 Nobody said fat girls were better. Your taking everyone's comments personally -_- Nobody told you that being thin was bad, nor did they say that fat people are better. We're talking about EVERYONE'S bodies being beautiful.

  • @MusikkIzMiLiffee no, people in the comments were saying how curvy is better and even amy said that in order to be a "real woman" you need to be curvy ( dont quote me as i dont have time right now to look back at comments or rewatch the vid) and i was just saying how i'm sick of it. i get this crap in real life all the time and this video + its comments aggravated me. i'm obviously not the only person who feels like this as 60 people have liked my comment.

  • @tokyomewmewlover9 Let me re-word myself there, CURVY rather than fat like I said.

  • Brilliant and Beautiful (^_-)-☆

  • I kind of ignore those magazines. I don't even read them so I've never really had any pressure on myself. However, currently I find myself rather premature in the world of bra sizes. I'm sure I'll "perk up" anyday now but it's taking forever. UGH.

Love you Amy! Keep up the awesome videos!

  • Why some women think they need to look like a stick is just beyond me. No, your washboard stomach is not sexy and neither is the definition in your arms.

Being comfortable in your own skin however, is :-D

  • Probably the most apt description of what a healthy body image is, and I dare say, what an unhealthy body image is too.

  • I love your tongue

  • Women! You are most beautiful, most sexy, most attractive when you love yourself regardless of your shape or size. Our society does not make loving yourself easy, but keep working on it. When you get it everything changes. Love.

  • Frosty.... Ummmm, yea. You really have to enjoy the journey with your body :) Respect it. And if you really want to compare yourself - COMPARE to your before self :) The journey of your body :)

  • how tall are you? i thought that you wer tall like 170cm or so : )

ps. I Love Me Some Curves!. ds

  • great!
