Wow what a great song and i love this song from the brilliant and awesome cult movie I Come In Peace but in the UK we call it Dark Angel & its my favorite movie by Dolph what a movie i loved it because of the awesome special effects and the action and comedy element in the movie and Dolph was so sexy & Badass as Jack Caine and i loved his partner Smith played by Brian Benben and the villains were so cool and very funny in the movie its one of the greatest movies to come in the late 80's i luv it

I will agree that Gary West's voice is irreplaceable. His voice is what made me love the band. However, Van was still there after Gary left, and I still liked many of the later non-Gary songs. Is this song and video typical 80's? Yes, but as their highest charting single, it obviously appealed to some people. But give me a choice and I'll take "Tonight", "Stranger" and "Breakout".

"Touch Me Tonight" was also the closing credits song to the 1990 comedy (& might I add Razzie nominee) "Big Girls Don't Cry, They Get Even" lol. "I Come In Peace" was a great action film. I like this song - it kicks ass! Good arena rock band that many have never heard of. They deserved much better than what Casey Kasem & Billboard gave them.

I love Shooting Star. They rock - but the synthesizer kind of reminds me of "Turn It On Again" by Genesis played on Jim Peterik (of Survivor's) synthesizer.

Nonetheless this song beats the holy hell out of any of today's crap out there namely Lady GaGa & Katy Perry!

I Come In Peace was really an underrated action flick. This song is also a great action flick theme, I mean I'll never forget seeing this in theaters and hearing this in the closing credits, right after Dolph Lundgren said "And you go in pieces...Asshole!"
