  • i want one

  • Freakshow!

  • Ligers can't live in the wild and reproduce. It's impossible. I'm not going to explain if you don't believe me then do some research.

  • @FrazerMcLucas

Ligers do not happen in wild as range of lions and tigers do not meet. Also males are not fertile. They may or may not live in the wild, It is unclear how they will perform in the wild.

  • The only evidence of the real liger so far is found in the Singapore folk tales where they say big cat bigger than lion or tiger has surprised the individuals....Americans say it was a liger.... Some says it would be one of the last Saber Toothed Tiger while other says it would have been a Great American lion which is also extinct now....

  • ahahahaha that cat would eat dogs alive!

  • @ozcrak420 True :) Ligers Gain a weight of 1 pound in one day :) Research has concluded that :)

  • LIGERS DIE EARLY AND ALSO FORM REALLY BAD PROBLEMS DUE TO THEM BEING HALF TIGER HALF LION SCIENTIFIC FACT CRUEL CUNTS

  • @IL0UiiS This is purely a lie.... That is not true.....

  • @theligerworld if you dont believe me search it up its cruel some mothers carnt even give birth to some of them coz they are so big they have to get cut out its not what would happen in the wild its something scientific jokes decided to do a while back search it up

  • @IL0UiiS ..... So far nothing has been proved.... all the sources on the internet which claim this or not credible..... There is no scientific evidence... Even some people explain that cross-breeding is against the nature this is wrong as well.....They need to discover the aquatic life at the equator....Each month thousands of new species are being created through cross-breeding...... and the process is cyclic indeed.

  • @theligerworld Two things:

    1) the liger is not a species, because it is a STERILE hybrid, making in unviable offspring. This is a good way to define it as unnatural.

    2) If animals can breed and produce viable offspring (ie. NOT sterile offspring) then they are of the same biological species. You do not create new species by "cross breeding".

  • @lost2darkness ....... Female ligers are not sterile.... So far there has been 5 occasions that female ligers have given birth to ti-ligers or Li-Ligers. ... Male Ligers haven't reproduced yet but researches show that they have very high testosterone levels..... and it wouldn't be too long before scientists will discover what might possibly be needed for a liger to reproduce.

It is a natural process 10% animals and 30% plants in nature are a product of Hybrid Breeding Program...

  • This guy should be arrested and the cat taken away, and placed in rescue place.. there will come a time soon where he won't be able to keep this cat (which can grow to 900lbs) ... Such an abuse

  • @ladysblues How is it abusive? The animal wouldn't survive in the wild, because ligers don't have a natural habitat. As far as I can see, the cat looks quite content with his family, not unlike an adopted domestic cat.

  • @brendonian Yep I agree :)

  • This guy should be arrested and the cat taken away, and placed in rescue place..

  • she isnt that big...she weight only 44 pounds....

my dog weight is 52 kilograms(102 pounds?)

  • @DarkGlobusO

but considering how fast a liger grows compare to a dog, in one week it can easily gain 50 pounds.

  • HALF A TON!?!? 1100 lb?? jesus christ

  • fucking cute!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree with Napleon Dynomite its pretty much my favorite animal lol

  • wheni saw the tiger in the corner at 21 seconds i was like o *%#$

  • Oh wonderful he's raising it to perform tricks for humans... These aren't animals you can domesticate, nor animals that should be kept in a flat. This is just wrong.

  • hes a man MADE animal... u understand that? although she might havethe genes to live in wild, she wasnt made for that...

  • @MewmewMeower

You are aware that first Dogs were estimated to be domesticated nearly 15,000 years ago, and 10,000-12,000 years ago for cats.

Domesticated basically means all these "pets" were once wild animals.

Who says, Tigers, Lion, Bears, and Wolves, given time cannot be domesticated?

If Evolution is indeed what it is, then even violent wild animals can be domesticated over a gradual and consistent domestication process.

    I

  • fucking idiot......they should kill people like that.....let the animal live the normal life...

  • I like how they called it a "lovechild" as if the parents had a relationship that just didn't work out

  • It could grow up to over 1000lbs, you stupid boy

  • @MickeyLove01 One of the heaviest is 800kg...CRAZY!

  • who ever thought of the liger? because thats one big mofo

  • Man i would Like to Have One aswell! to bad they grew so big!

  • sad :(

  • one day that animal will kill the trainer

  • So sad it''ll end up in a circus.

  • napoleon dynamites favourate animal lol

  • I first thought that this is a lion female...

  • half tiger and half lion?

    is it possible?

  • Yes. A tiger and a lion would never meet in the wild, so this is man-made.

However, it is an example of hybrid speciation, one of the causes for evolution and the introduction of new species on Earth.

Most of the time, hybrid's are sterile, but there are times when a hybrid is fertile, and thus creates a new species.

  • yes

but are ligers and tigons fertile?

i searched but i havent found any animals that have both parents hybrids

    maybe they are like mules

  • I thought that the tiger and the lion mated to make a liger

  • a tiger/lion hybrid is a tylon... a Male lion/Tigress hybrid is a liger.. The liger is bigger out of the 2 different hybrid offspring.

  • Yes, many other hybrid types exsist of all different types of animals

  • rofl, jesus i luv russia i want 2 go there, both the beautiful and ugly parts, i've heard and researched enough, but wat happens wen tht cute little thing turns into a lumbering behemoth of fat and muscle, try taking tht for a walk on a leash

  • harnesses go around the strongest part of their body so their harder to control

  • They should use a harness instead of a leash

  • Harnesses (surprisingly) are easier to escape from. My dog can escape from every harness I've boughten but can't escape from a leash.

  • dam! how many time do i have to say this??? tigers cannot be pets! one day his pet will kill him.

  • yes but that's not a tiger =p

  • yea your right

  • (1:05) "first of all, the animal isn't walking around on it's own. secondly, it's on a leash." -Department of Redundancy Department

  • I'm against the breeding of ligers.

They just keep growing until they collapse under their own weight and die a very painful death. :(

  • Agreed, They Cannot live in the wild. This Cat will grow to be bigger than a Tiger/Lion. I however do not agree on keeping it in a small flat as the owner will soon find out how big this cat will get. This cat at least deserve to roam free at a Animal Sanctuary. A place like Big Cat Rescue would be good! I hope he doesnt have to spend his life in a small Cage

  • ligers were first created in windsor in 1864 as recorded sadly they didnt live long its only untill recently that they have had them live upto 10-15 years due to the fact the grow so big, while tigons live to be about 24 years in captivity just like your average lion or tiger

  • aaww so cute...

  • thats a lil fat baby healthy and strong id love to play with it before it grows into a monster. I love tha baby.

  • keep this animal in flat!!!! that is bad it is far to small it is animals torture

  • They can not live in the wild because one they are not trained or raised around prides that do what is necessary to survive which is kill and hunt, without those skills every animal is as good as dead.these are also more kind of a big cat than any tiger or lion.most importantly they tire out faster than all cats due to their massive size.

  • yea but wouldnt it be sumtin if there was sum accidental cross breed when in the wild and the lion pride had the liger as one of there own it probley would be the leader and a massive power killer (ofcorse i am speaking in a fanasy mind cuz every body know the odds of that happening is basically impossible)

  • ligers can just steal kills like hyenas do. ligers can be the new king of the jungle, bullying lions and stuff.. that would be cool!

  • WTF... that shit does not belong in a house ffs.

Its going to escape and eat some kid... fucking idiots.

  • lol...ligers cant survive the wild...science proved it!!!theyre to big to catch prey....

  • I don't know how you can point blank say a liger can't survive in the wild due to being to big ??.Siberian tigers only problem is man killing them. There are places in the world where a Ligers thoretically COULD live and survive.F1 Liger male would be sterile but a F4 plus Liger males & females would produce fertile offspring.

    Siberian tiger avridge.

    Size:10.75ft(3.3m)

    Weight:660 lbs(300 kg)wild weight.

    Liger avridge.

    Size:10 ft(3.05m)

    Weight:700 lbs(320 kg)captive weight.

  • dont tell me that ur smarter than a scientist!!!theyre the one who said that this liger cant survive in wild.....first...they cant hunt any animal theyre too slow and they get tired too fast....and kill still?lol..ur saying that they kill still everyday...hahaha....thats bullshit...research before u post so u knoe whats happening around u...

  • y dont u breed em but leave them with either a female tiger or a lion pride this way they learn the teqniques and the key to survival i put my money that they would do just fine if these were the circumstances!!!

  • I think they'd be confined to hunting big game and there aren't many herd big enough to support ligers. Smaller game is just too fast.

  • Siberian Tigers have been around since time immemorial. They have hunting skills that are deep ingrained within them. Anyhow you're wrong on the averages. An average Siberian Tiger's size ranges from 75-97 inches i.e tops at around 8 feet or so. As for the weight that is also considerably less.

  • No such thing as a liger in the wild. They're too big to chase down prey.

  • You don't need to chase your food if your liger size. You take what you want from others you use your size & power to take prey already caught by another predator. And if they grouped to form a pride like lions. There's no real reason why they couldn't hunt elephant'etc to survive.Ligers & Tigons WAY BACK! use to pop up in the wild ever now & then. They was hybrids between the *ASIAN*lion & Tiger.Rare reports of hybrid cats was discribed roaming through Indian forests.Long before man bred them.

  • hahahaha....idiot...man bred ligers and tigons...

u knoe why they couldnt bred on thier own??cause they live in different place....hahahahaha...

reports wtf...there were nver a report!!

  • In Sindh and Gujerat ( North West India ),

lions and tigers could sometimes meet...

    "Romance" was optional, of course....

  • yet another reason for them not making for feasible wild animals is the high chances of them turning out to be sterile.

  • @HONKifUvCOACHED4BAMA ..... A Liger's Speed is 50 to 60 miles per hour..... If you watch National Geographic's Ultimate Cat you will know it.....

  • all animals r made to survive in the wild idiot

  • I would not call somone a idiot if don't even have basic knowledge of what you speak of. Animals cant be just dumped in nature and expect to survives ones grown in human environments never learned the skills that would of learned in nature by there parents or as a baby.

  • have you heard of natural selection you fucking douche not all animals survive in the wild

  • U IDIOT! DO SOME RESEARCH! these animals CANNOT REPRODUCE + HUGE FRAME + NO FUCKING EXPERIENCE IN ANY WILD TERRAIN= 0 chance of survival!

  • ur right dude...i hate people when they jst post comment like they new everything without making a research....

its proven that they cant live in wild...

  • Maybe, but for how many days ???

  • NightmareGuitar13 dont even say it ill feed my neighbors dogs.thats so mean. if yah have notin to say dont say nothing at all. arightt?

    exxohh~ coolstuff123456789

  • IS THAT LEGAL IN RUSSIA?

  • even if he did its worth it

shit whoever fucks with his house is dead meat

  • heck ya, a wow i got a -5 thummb thing, looser who eve did that ^^

  • CUTIE!

  • lol the poodle got bitch slapped

  • Nice liger.

  • if ligers became wild they would die in an instant by poachers look at their beutiful skin..

  • No, If ligers where set into the wild they would die of starvation you idiot. There to big and cant run for more then 20 yards without geting tired. There not made for the wild.

  • how do u know, lol... did u ever turn into a liger and be released in the the wild, and died to comeback as a liger in the wild expert

  • No Iv gone to zoo's with Ligers in them, The owners make them run around. There to big to hide in the grass and they dont have enough stamina to catch a prey

  • no its a fact. look it up

  • lol nice one sli93 funny

  • how come they are not for sale, i want to buy one.

  • can you afford to feed it 50 pounds of meat a day? well maybe you can sell your car and ride the liger on his/her back instead. still more expensive than a new S600 with full insurance in the long-run

  • well i can feed her with a cat food

  • very funny. enjoy buying 2 bags of cat food every day

  • i'll feed it my neghibors dogs

  • what is this guy going to do once this thing is old... they're 2 times the size of a lion once adult >.>

  • translator..she is very smart...i feed her 3 times a day....poodle for breakfast..little children for lunch.....dinner they eat fat american children

  • bwhahahaha fucking funny

  • Hahaha poodle smack.

  • lol its confusing because their not translating it well and i can hear both languages...

  • what a cutie!! There is a liger in the zoo of Novosibirsk as well. I saw a story on it on Russia Today about a year ago... jumped the correspondent during his stand-up... looked pretty dramatic and funny. He was already bigger though. Would be interesting to see what he looks like now. For some reason ligers grow bigger than either tigers or lions

  • Why is he breeding tigers with lions for? Tigers are rare enough as it is, so breeding two species together with no conservation value is crazy. More tourists would come to russia if the wildlife was left in the wild and conserved properly.

  • he's not breeding ligers.

he's training this cub, which he bought from someone else.

    ligers usually aren't bred -- they're a sort of "nature's bastards"

  • I lol'd rather immaturely.

  • sort of, but they are mostly bred, the last time tigers met lions in the wild is when the sahara desert was a jungle
