  • @terrence831 in your dreams. Once us wrestlers get in close or grab yo lanky arms, boxers are fucked.

  • boxer would beat a wrestler anyday

  • Anyone can punch but a boxer won't know wrestling moves I'm a wrestler and I got in one fight I fucking double legged his ass and he was on his back then I just started hittin him in the face wrestlers would beat boxers

  • @TheMike123txxx Only if they're fast enough

  • I most kinds of fights, yeah wrestlers have a big advantage. However...you would be wrong to think that boxers are NOT "hard workers, conditioned, strong." That applies to both athletes.

It is true that grappling conditioning differs from striking/boxing. So that, if you grapple a wrestler on the ground for long...and you aren't conditioned for grappling...you will likely gas out fast. You could be a world champ marathon runner, doesn't matter. Grappling condition matters and wrestlers get it.

  • in any type of a bout what about a boxing match?

  • A wrestler would indeed destory a boxer

  • uh its called bob and weave shouldint you know that??

  • Has anyone ever used there wrestling in an actual streetfight?

  • In my family, my dad is a boxer and all my uncles and cousins were wrestlers. I believe both martial arts critical for what they were designed to do. It all depends on the fighter for the win, but of course grapplers have some type of advantage over the striker. I've seen boxers knock out wrestlers and I've seen a wrestler ground and pound the shit out of a striker. I'm in mma so I love both martial arts. But it depends on the fighter and situation.

  • yes a wrestler will destroy a boxer

  • Mobility vs. firepower. Wrestling let's you choose where to fight, boxing gives you the means to deliver damage. To me they are two halfs of a whole, a single martial art. Both styles have evolved some retardations trough centuries of separation, but the transition back is natural. There's a very good amount of each art in theother to begin with. To be blunt - would you rather live without arms or legs? I would love to keep both if possible..... :)

  • wrestler any day(:

  • Lol the wrestler would lose The Boxer just needs to use his jab lol he doesn't even need to waste his hooks and uppercuts

  • @MaztazDJ ok jab miss sweep single its over........

  • @MaztazDJ ok jab miss sweep single its over........

  • @roliexs How about a right hand to the face and a pillow?:) And really, how the hell do you miss a head?

  • first of all you fucking nigger, a boxer would kick a wrestler's ass because boxers are part about distance and a wrestler has to take someone down in a fight but a boxer can fuck him up before he gets to him. dumb ass jigaboo.

  • @MrSmurf666 First off you ignorant prick, a boxer will not win against a equally skillful wrestler. In a real fight, a wrestler can strike as well. In a boxing match, the boxers usually clinch somewhere during the fight. Well, if a wrestler and a boxer clinch, it is over.Take your racial antics somewhere else punk.

  • @mercifulkyle obliterated retarded nigger anus!!???!!!??

  • @MrSmurf666 You won man. Congratulations!

  • According to my experience if a boxer doesn't have takedown defense and grappling skills. The skill wrestler will win of course.. But at the same time if you take mike tyson at his best.Is close movement where so tight. A hook would kill a wrestler. A powerful skill boxer is very dangerous and a skill wrestler could break your hips.Be complete and well grounded. thats the key. If you a amateur wrestler do not go fight a professionel wrestler: death sentence same with amateur boxer.

  • you should try out in your lokal boxin club...a wrestler can not get in to the ring with a boxer and stay a live :)

  • @Zabavaaaaaaaa if you get in the cage like ufc wrestler will woop a boxers ass! bro

  • Boxer.

  • ha think about it this way if your close enough grab me im close enough to hit you all the boxer gots to do is use jabs an stay outside an keep moving until the wrestlers done

  • hahah, wrestlers more conditioned that boxers ? mate are you a fucking downy ? boxers are the fittest mother fuckers on the planet, they spend every day of there life training. And yeah your right, a wrestler would win if he got hold of the boxer. But ask yourself this, how many times does a wrestler stand in front of someone like mike tyson ? mate your a fucking ass.

  • @SugerRaySaunderz

99% of the time, the wrestler gets hold of the boxer, takes him down, hold him there..and pound the boxers face in..thats a fact..start by watching UFC..go take a walk now asshole.

  • @morgall 99% of assholes who like watching sweaty men roll about on the floor believe that bullshit like you mate and as it happens ive just had a run training to go punch someone and hurt them, not roll about on the floor and look gay. Would you like a dildo with that? ;)

  • @SugerRaySaunderz Take Randy Couture and put him in a fight with Mike Tyson. The grappler wins.

  • @mercifulkyle if you believe that, you are completly and utterly stupid. More than words can say.

  • @SugerRaySaunderz You must be stupid beyond words. Does a pure boxer get anywhere in mma? You know absolutely nothing about wrestling obviously.

  • @mercifulkyle actualy a boxer like mike tyson, or his level has been put in mma. As it goes the only boxers that have been put in mma are old fat men who havent boxed in years dont train and need money. Poitn on for you being stupid because no prime boxer has been in mma. and as it goes i know a lot of wrestlers, a wrestling school bing near to wear i live, and alot of them refuse to fight boxers because getting grabbed and punched are different.

  • @SugerRaySaunderz ill fiight a boxer any day ima wrestler

  • Whoever thinks that a boxer can beet a wrestler is a dumb ass. I'm a wrestler and I've been in a lot of fights, i'v beaten every boxer I've ever fought, the only bouts I've ever lost were wrestling matches, wresting 100%

  • @lillschmidty

you would probably loose to a MMA fighter

  • lmfao

  • Who would win in an arms race? Nigeria or Libya?

  • "any type of bout"

Ehh, a wrestler wouldnt beat a boxer in a boxing bout or a kickboxing bout ;D

  • NIGGA SP- SP -SPIT IT Oout LOL jk nice vid

  • If you wanna see a boxer and a wrestler fight check out the ufc118 paperview. Randy Couture(ufc heavy wieght) fights James "lights out" Tony(boxing heavy wieght)!!! gunna be good

  • @godzilla8china THat was intresting.

  • @godzilla8china ha ha tony got his ass kicked, wrestling is way better.

  • depends on the wrestler. depends on the boxer. no one will ever know for certain. there's no "one" answer. there's no striking in wrestling, so if the wrestler can strike once he gets a take-down, then the boxer would have some take-down defense. so then you can't really know for sure who would win if they both train to fight the man they put in front of them.

  • if the boxer doesnt knock out the wrestler in the first 10 seconds then yes the wrestler may win.

  • @gavinjoaquinolivas I agree. it'd be a quick fight either way. but personally, i think it would be hard to KO a wrestler in 10 seconds.

  • oh my days this guy looks like big l. no disresepct to best rapper of all time.

  • The thing is, it depends on the wrestler and the boxer. If the boxer can manage to keep the fight standing, the boxer. If the wreslter can get it to the ground, the wrestler wins. So the best thing to do is do both. If your a wrestler looking to go into MMA, you need to learn to fight standing, if your a boxer/muay thai, whatever you need to improve your grappling.

  • Wrestling of course!!

  • @Hunt8849 wrong boxing

  • well u obviously have nvr spared with a boxer. a boxer would knockout a wrestler. an boxers are way faster

  • wrestler

  • wrestling would dominate

  • The problem is there is hardly any boxer v wrestler matches (real ones) for us to see what would happen. It would be great to see the best HW boxer v best HW wrestler but it never happens. Could a fight like that even get sanctioned? All the wrestler can do is win but the boxer if he wins might actually kill the wrestler. That is why we dont see these fights on TV. Later Dude

  • @notthelastword believe it or not there some moves in a wrestlers arsenal that could kill a boxer.

  • i wrestle and i think it depends on how skillfull u r, like me i beat a boxer, for some reason wen u wrestle ur body gets stronger n punches arent that hard, so pass that n well its a wrap, kneeing is another story...

  • BJJ > Wrestling.. Wrestling is fucking gay and it's not easy to take someone down when they're throwing fists and knees at you. Best fighters in the world do Boxing (Fedor, Bj Penn, Anderson Silva). Look at the records, fags.

  • @ssDaNss and BJJ isnt gay??? you sure about that comment dud.

  • @ssDaNss well to be sucsessful in MMA you gotta do everything. i can say the best fighters also do wrestling (Fedor,GSP,Frankie edgar) you know? its all about mixing it up boxing is great but so is wrestling so theres no reason to call anything gay BJJ is awesome too...

  • ok "thetjblack" your dumb if i fought u and u where my weight i would take u down again and again or just box straight up obviously the "wrestler" u fought was not good if you whre standing straight up would would be taken down like lighting and also i u where putting hands on him then y the hell did he not tie up and toss ur monkey ass like i said obviouly not a good wrestler

  • both require lots of training and conditioning i think both have their fare wins and losses when put up against eachother, im a wrestler btw

  • I agree. Wrestler wins and if anyone says different they can check out any of the early ufc's back before people cross trained in different styles. Not to say boxing is bad its best to know both boxing and wrestling.

  • The Tjblack you probably faced a very sucky wrestler then :P rofl any wreslter knows in a real fight not to go for the legs cause he knows the person he's fighting is probably thinking that. Most wreslters that i've seen fight usually grab the arms, yank then while twisting them around and then they lock up from behind and throw them down...then thats the end more or less.

  • Im a skateboarder and i knocked out a wrestler plus when he tried to take me down all i did was kneed or uppercut his face and the boxer might have powerful bolws if the wrestler would be trying to take him down while the boxer is just pounding on his skull and he might get dazed

  • plus i would kill this kid in a fight i mean look at him

  • Check out Muhammad Ali vs Inoki. The wrestler just falls on the ground in the fetal position like some over grown baby.

  • idk the style is very well what determines the fighter because they're a few styles to wrestling and boxing. but i still stand by what i said an average wrestler would easily destroy an average boxer in a fight. my reasons lay below

  • It's not the style, it's the fighter that determine who's stronger. There's some strong wrestlers who can beat the shit out of you, and some weak wrestlers who can't stand a chance pulling off a slam because they'll get knocked out. It's all about strong defense and offense of any style of fighting. I don't care if it's Doo-jitsu, if the fighter is strong defensively/offensively, he's going to do just fine against any opponent. I studied this style vs. style stuff for years and it's that simple.

  • Just some things to keep in mind when facing a wrestler; Arm Drag, Wrist Lock, Suplex, Single Leg Sweep, Head and Arm (try landing a punch while caught in that), and one of my personal favorites Double Grapevine. Complete and total domination when you have that position. And nine times out of ten a wrestler will get find a way to your back, I doubt anyone here can invert their arm to punch someone behind them. :D

  • who said you had to go for the leg?? you could always lock up from behind and throw them to the ground.

  • i think it depends .....both martial arts are cool ....i boxed 1 year when i was younger and since 2 years til now and i wouldnt say that i could beat a wrestler because once a wrestler takes 1 leg of you its over my friend :) but on the other hand if i hit you before you get my leg than you can be sure that youl go k o .....it really depends on the fighters and situation , circumstances etc...... but i can imagine that boxing and wrestling together if you are good in both then youre a killer :D

  • in a fight against a wrestler vs a boxer..hands down a wrestler would win because you have so many possible moves to do once you get a boxer down as to where a boxer must be on his feet to do anything. but if a wrestler gets you down..your finished almost all the time

  • dirty tactics are legal in a street fight so you would do anything to win, bite , eye gouge ect. no matter what your discipline. survival of the fittest

  • In a real street fight a boxer would win. So in your video you say that you could take a few hits as you move in to grapple, but I guarantee that youd be dazed with just one punch. Wresling has no comparison to real street fighting.

  • There's no doubt. Wrestler has more game on the ground Boxers need to stay on their feet to do anything. The first thing I'd do is take the boxer to the ground. I can take a few hits before the dude's on his back. Then I own him.

  • hi, am been doing boxing now for about 3 half years now and help run a club and iv allready put this qestion to the test, what normaly happend is that the boxer just keeped range on the Wrestler and fucked him up badley and as you said when the Wrestler tryed to make a run/grab for the takedown the boxer just loaded up on hiz punches wich ether knocked the Wrestler off balance or knocked hiz hands down and well think the rest explance its self..

  • Comment removed

  • on the rair time when the Wrestler manged to get the boxer on the floor used hiz beter uper bodey strenth and hamerd that liver abbs then try hold some 1 down with a lot of uperbodey strenth wile beeing extremley winded lol

  • everything he said i agree with

  • Don't forget that in the street if you're on the ground, you could possibly have 5 or 6 other people kicking and stomping on you.

  • Wrestling might not beat boxing....

    Boxing might not beat wrestling....

But boxing and wrestling together makes MMA...

    Which beats both

  • very true

  • Im a high school wrestler, and i would have to go with wrestler. Because when a boxer goes to throw a punch, they are WIDE open to a shot. And then when they get taken down, if the boxer is fighting a wrestler who rides legs, then it is really over. All a wrestler has to do is dodge the punch, take him down, get in a grapevine (or saturday night ride, whatever you like to call it) and then just pound on the boxer.

  • wrestlers are more balanced in a real fight because 1 punch from a wrestler puch has much higher inpact force on a stand up fight althow slower the wrestler also as a more balanced endurance strenght speed ratio if you look at the body types between the average profesianal wrestler and boxer you could draw out your own desition.

  • So a wrestler punches harder than a boxer?

You have lost all credibilty in this argument.

But im not gonna play thish game its shtupid.

    What a shtupid game

  • ok usually a boxer my weight has a very distinct muscle composition as they are faster and usually have more type b muscle that is more flexible and gives more stamina and me i have more type a muscle which you get from lifting more weights less reps by far impact force from someone who bench presses 250 and does 65 dips is about 35% stronger than that of the average impact force boxer gets out of his training their main advantage is speed not brute force.

  • The average high school wrestler isn't trained to fight, they're trained to pin they're opponent down to the mat for points. People here saying that wrestling would win in an actual fight seem to be under the impression that the average high school or college wrestler automatically knows ground and pound skills.

That's not the case. They're not trained in any kind of striking or submissions. If the fight did go to the ground, the wrestlers would just hold him down until he got up.

  • The bottom line is take any stand up fighter who has been training more than 6 months and put them up against ANY high school or college wrestler in an actual fight, not an mma fight, and the striker would wipe the floor with the wrestler 9 out of 10 times.

In a real one on one street fight, holding and laying on top of your opponent doesn't work like it does in mma. There's no referee to give u a break if you get bitten, eye poked, or hit in the groin. MMA isn't a real fight, it's a sport.

  • The only chance the wrestler has is to win a real fight against a good striker is to execute a big slam that would end the fight.

  • so your telling me the boxer on his back is gonna be able to beat a wrestler....the wrestler can also eye gouge and groin shot and im sure it will be more effective on top

  • These wrestlers just wont listen theres no point trying to explain it to them. They have never been hit hard enough to understand.

  • have you ever seen a real profesional square of in areal fight not a staged show against a boxer dude its like saying a lab would beat a pit because their more gracefull

  • Hello guys. I'd like to comment on this, and I think I can do so from a more knowledgeable view point... I am a wrestler. But I have boxed, and even had boxing training from a very good boxer. But I am by no means a boxer, and would get destroyed by even a novice in a boxing match. The question is, could a wrestler beat a boxer in a real fight? I think that in a "real" street fight scenario, the wrestler has the advantage, for a few reasons.

  • Let's assume that the wrestler and boxer are both advanced in their styles. So, the boxer will obviously strike. The wrestler will most likely shoot. The most common takedown is the double leg, with the most popular finish being to lift and slam the opponent. In the UFC, this happens all the time, and the guy is ok. In a real fight, on concrete or tile, or any surface other than a mat or grass, no one is going to get back up from the slam and throw punches. Look at fight science. They cover it.

  • But, the wrestler may not be able to slam the boxer. It is likely the boxer wll get hits in, and perhaps they could stop a close-in shot, like a double. But perhaps the wrestler would hit a low single, which is far below the range of a punch, and take the boxer down. everyone says "the wrestler would wouldnt be able to beat the boxer on the ground because he doesnt know how to punch, and doesnt learn any submissions in wrestling." Half true. We dont know how to punch. But we DO know submissions.

  • One of the most important things we learn in wrestling is what we CANT do in a match. We learn that we cant do these things because THEY ARE DANGEROUS. Thats why there is a ref ready to call it. For example, the Full-Nelson. You can easily break someone's spine with it. Elevating the chicken wing above 90 degrees will break a shoulder. And all wrestlers know how to use a choke. I've submitted a couple friends with a reverse half-belson and back arch. Boxer wins on foot. Wrestler wins on ground.

  • it doesnt take a genius to know how to punch if the wrestlers on top hes gonna do damage

  • thats true, but naturally when they get the takedown theyre gonna wanna punch theyre not just gonna sit there so the wrestler may not have killer ground and pound but he will attack and land shots

  • haha and you boxing idiots think a wrestler cant take a clean punch try telling randy couture or dan henderson that motherfucker wrestlers are strong and in good condition to take a punch there neck and there chin are very strong and will just eat the punch and bulldoze your ass to the ground and make you eat some elbows with your head hitting the concrete boxing sucks and is not the real art of fighting just punching

  • Henderson and Couture are mixed martial artists, not just wrestlers. They're also trained strikers.

This point of this video was to ask what would happen if a boxer and a wrestler (just a wrestler, not an mma fighter) were to get in a fight. Not an MMA bout, an actual fight.

The wrestler would get hit once and be stunned, and the fight would be over.

  • remember the "shot" in wrestling is just what you use to penetrate then theres a finish so the wrestler could shoot in close while guarding his head and once its a clinch theres atleast 15 finishes that he can use to take the boxer down

  • On top of that, ur dissing boxing but boxing is part of mma... ur argument holds no water.

  • haha in street easier to put a boxer on his ass just clinch and german suplex his ass to the concrete and i doubt you would be able to bite me when your ass gets slammed on your head to the concrete

  • im a boxer and i think boxers are way more hardworking and they can strike, and when they strike the wreslter its over trust me

  • u have a point they can strike, but a wrestler isnt looking to keep the match on his feet. he wants to take u down and use his ground game. now a boxer wouldnt know what to do from there

  • Of curse a wrestler would win depending on how well he knows his wrestling. If a great wrestler fights a great boxer then the wrestler would win. we just don't do leg takedowns, if we get close enough then we can do a nasty uper body throw. we can also grab a boxers hands which is something that they can not defend.

  • Based on my own experience I would have to give it to the wrestler, strictly because boxers have no ground game. All of these people saying a boxer will "kill a wrestler in three hits" have obviously never met anyone with common sense. A smart wrestler will guard his head as he is shooting in, thus giving him protection from the more severe blows that can be dealt. Once a boxer is on wrestling turf then it's over. Boxers are not trained to fight on the ground, and fights rarely stay standing up.

  • Comment removed

  • How do you guard your head WHILE shooting in? And stark said boxers are only trained for other guys trying to punch them, wrestlers are only trained for guys trying to WRESTLE. If you can manage to get a bouncy, speedy ass boxer down, more power to you. You PROBABLY have him. But you better not get caught clean ONE TIME. Or theres no more fight. (BTW...if this was a street fight situation aka CONCRETE who the hell is shooting for a takedown? And in a street fight i will bite you if you hold me)

  • It's simple to keep your head guarded while shooting, same positioning with your hands that boxers do. There's more than just double-leg takedowns in wrestling, there are single leg sweeps, wrist locks, arm-bars, etc. "Get caught clean one time." I'm fairly certain that none of you have Mike Tyson power, so that's rather irrelevant. CONCRETE would be a wrestler's best friend, ever heard of a suplex? Your spine or skull hitting the ground after a throw would end it instantly in a street fight.

  • Your right, none of us do have Mike tyson power. A Mike Tyson punch would break your face to small pieces and cause massive brain damage, a regular boxer would just knock you out haha. Give it up

  • Impressive how you decide to bypass my previous statements and resort to the Mike Tyson remark. As stated before, in a street fight where there are no rules concrete would be a wrestler's best friend. Look up a suplex of any kind and you will see why no boxer would be back on his feet after one.

  • Impressive how i said i wanted nothing more to do with this hogwash argument, but you brought me right back into it. You are good, must be that wrestling training. I already agreed if you can get ahold of any boxer worth his salt-which you cant-you most likely have him. I know what suplexes are, look up fucking foot movement and BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA...and you will see why no wrestler is getting anywhere in punching range. You cant grab a fist that fast. But it still all depends on the fighter

  • no one can grab a fist.. but a smart wrestler doesnt have to hel cover his head while pressuring you and then hell take a shot and once hes in on a shot the boxers gonna have to worry about blunt force trauma

  • boxing will kill wrestling

  • @310kire310 wen pigs fly.

  • This guy isn't making a great case for us wrestlers. Listen, what it comes down to is a wrestlers ability to weather a storm. Boxers aren't trained to defend guys just coming in at them and trying to grab them. They're trained to punch other guys trying to punch them. I think that a boxer might even inflict more damage in a fight. But in terms of actually controlling and winning the fight, I'd give it to wrestlers.

  • THAT SAID- I compete in boxing and train im mma for fun.

A HIGH SCHOOL wrestler doesnt have a snowballs chance in hell against a boxer. PERIOD.You have no idea how HARD a boxer, -who does nothing but punch punch and punch more- can hit. A GOOD wrestler can shoot for a takedown in 3-5 seconds. A DECENT -fast- boxer can throw literally about 7 punches per SECOND. You dont have to be a power puncher to knock someone out, and if you shoot into a punch, you are going down.

  • 3-5 seconds?what are you on man top level high school wrestlers can shoot and be at your leg in 1-2 seconds plus the wrestler is gonna close the gap where the boxers punches wont have power and take a nice inside shot and slam the boxer on his neck

  • Sucks boxing and wrestling has to be rivals, as they are both tough sports.

And lol at keyboard getting furious over the internet...how about take your ass outside, fight somebody and PROVE why your fighting style is dominant?

  • UFC 1 proves that strikers suck against ground fighters. Wrestlers can ALWAYS get in range.

  • this clown just ca ca ca can can cant get his words out. Loser.

  • lol ima loser

  • straight wrestlers aren't used to getting hit hard in the face... So if you take a straight wrestler and a straight striker and put them in a nhb fight, the striker would most likely win.

  • well straight strikers arent used to being on theyre back so once the wrestler shoots and takes the striker down then what?

  • But if it's an MMA bout and there's an advanced wrestler with minimal striking against an advanced striker with minimal wrestling-- The wrestler would win because he would have more "Octagon control."

  • That's what we saw when Ryan Bader fought on the ultimate fighter.. He would just law on top of guys that whole fight.

  • boxers would destroy a wrestler!

  • it depends on the fighters themselves, strong boxers and deliver painful blows, it depends if the wrestler can tank through it and get him on the ground but it also depends whether its on the street or not, I don't think ground fighting would be best if the other guy has a knife on him

    that is my opinion though

  • LOL at the Boxing elitists that always think each punch its a default KO .

  • if the fight is standup then of course boxer but if it goes to ground well wrestler

  • Depends on the individual fighter, not the style. If someone who wrestled in school got into a fight they most likely wouldn't even use wrestling... They would probably just try to throw punches at eachother.

  • let's see, boxer punches, wrestler grabs the punch and puts the boxer in a hold until he blacks out.

    the wrestler wins.

  • of course it would depend, if the boxer can find his range before the wrestler shoots for the takedown then he could end the fight with some basic punches delivered well, since wrestlers aren't trained to slip punches. if the wrestler does shoot and take down, then everything favors the wrestler. conditioning i'd actualyl say boxing's tougher because if you get tired in boxing you get beat up, wrestling you just get pinned. overall, if a boxer jabs, he wins, if he does not jab, wrestler wins.

  • But when i went up against a Muay Thai guy - That was something tough - He was a very well trained and conditioned guy - I managed to catch him with a few punches but whenever I did I would get that pole like kick in my legs and in my stomach - The pain was something extraordinary - Its hard to close the distance with them esp if they are excellent at their game..Thats when I came to a conclusion that Boxing and Muay thai taken together is the best combination You don;t need anything else

  • "All you need" not for you to decide.

  • I'm speaking for myself only

  • thats not technically true you could have amazing stand up (muay thai and boxing) but if you dont have ground and bump into a well trained grappler (wrestling and brazilian jiu jitsu) your fucked

  • I can answer this from my personal experience as a boxer myself We faced Judo practioners to see how we would fare - I had a false notion myself about Judo The person who I was up against was agile and strong - Not what I had expected - I managed to catch him on quite a few occassions - But they block your punches and grab your hand with great speed - perhaps I was up against a rare type - I basically thought it was a draw I didnt allow myself to be thrown over

  • a rabbit punch to the back of your head as your shooting, if you arent knocked out. You will be wobbily as fuck

  • Never seen that happen.

  • I have both wrestled and Boxed and I have to disagree with you on the conditioning.

They are both hard, yes, but if anything i'd say boxing is harder if not equal to wrestling in that matter

Another thing is, boxers are trained to get hits, in wrestling, you dont get rocked with punched(although you can get slammed)

If a boxer was fighting by the "rules" he would probably lose, but on the street, rabbit punches, kidney punches, liver punches..they are all legal. If you get caught with

  • anything can happen in a fight obviously but im a wrestler and kickboxer so im kinda biased but id put money ont he wrestler if he knows wat hes doing

  • Wrestler Proberly.

Just slam da boxer cunt a few times !!!!

  • if a boxer hits you first then your fucked you aint gona know what happened.trust me i im a wrestler and got my ass woped by some boxer.

  • maybe your just a shitty wrestler?or maybe you mistimed something and got lit up all the wrestler has to do is lure the boxer in then a quick doubleleg takedown and the boxers down....boxing is great but you gotta have other tools

  • Man, I am tired of all this shit. This pokemon dude says wrestling beats boxing because he is a fucking wrestler. He is favoring. A wrestler does not beat a boxer. Neither is better than the other. It's just a matter of who masters his art better and he will win. I have fought wrestlers,(I am a boxer) and knocked most of them out with just one punch when they were trying to take me down. A boxer uses swift foot work, he moves around and hits, a wrestler just stands there waiting for a chance.

  • telling u dawg these gay crackers an nerdy black boys dnt knw shit.till their there.

  • good wrestlers are extremely fast man and they wont stand there they'll put alot of pressure on you, i dont know much boxing but im pretty sure when your throw a hook or a cross you have to pivot on your foot right? well if the boxer does this his legs are completely open for a takedown

  • Okay bro. I'll rather prove it in a real Wrestler vs. Boxer match, but unfortunately I can't. I know u are a wrestler and for that u favor wrestling and I am a boxer for which I will favor boxing. But I know I can prove that a boxer can beat a wrestler if the boxer knows his shit and dominates it. Oh u say if a boxer throws a hook or a cross he gets caught? Well than in that case he can throw a straight right or left with the feet sifting to the side or back.

  • look im not saying either style is defficient i wrestle, i have a blue belt in jiu jitsu and i do some muay thai.... all im saying is just as much as boxing can win so can wrestling its not like every punch the boxer throws is a KO punch and all it takes is one shot to get the takedown cuz a boxer wont sprawl or try to stuff it

  • i agree with u wrestlers most of the time wud beat a boxer but it depends on how well of a striker the boxer is

  • well, mostly what u say, the boxer hitts the wrestler a few times and after a hits of 10 he is in the good position to take the boxer down, thats right..

buth dont forgot in a streetfight without cloves (bad english) you will be knockout after 1 strike of a boxer.. soo its o nthe way you see it.. buth ya, when the boxer is down, he will lose :)

  • the wrestler would get his ass kicked

  • WRESTLING KICKS ASS!

  • true that my nig

  • yea he is right im a wrestler and i have to say standing up ill get my shit rocked by a boxer, but as soon as i can take him down i have a huge advantage

  • I AGREE WITH YOU! 110%

  • USA Wrestling announced the creation of a medal fund that would pay wrestlers $250,000 for an Olympic gold medal, $50,000 for a silver and $25,000 for a bronze. Because its losing too many wrestlers to MMA.

  • ye thats becus there isnt any money in wrestling, at the end of the day, wrestlers need to support themselfes, thats why they choose MMA.

  • wrestler would take him down nd he couldn't get back up

  • The wrestler would go ino the fight with a plan, and that plan would be foiled once he got rocked with a flurry of punches and ended up lying on the ground knocked out cold.

BJJ is effective, wrestling not so much.

  • well this is totally a objective question... it depends on what boxer vs. wrestler...... its really not a good question sry.

  • Lol @ all the losers picking fights on the internet acting tuff. Get a life.

  • Have any of you boxing idiots ever watched mma. Strikers get there ass kicked. Wrestlers and BJJ users are so MUCH MORE dominant then strikers. They take them down and beat the living shit out of them. The list goes on and on of great wrestlers in mma and there are barley any boxers who are dominant. Shit I can't even name three.

  • Have you ever watched MMA u fool? Strikers dont get their ass kicked! Look at the best P4P in MMA, Anderson Silva. He's a striker by nature and he owns. You must not know SHIT about MMA if you think boxing doesn't help you in MMA. All the top MMA fighters have pro boxing coaches!

    Your so dumb and ignorant.
