I saw him at CAL and on a fast break throw a pass with so much spin on it it kicked 4 feet to the right in front of the defender who was in front of him in perfect step to the guy breaking down the lane. It was the kind of pass you might see watching the Harlem Globe trotters. It curved around the defender and the place went silent not believing what they saw. I saw it and I never have seen anything close to that play again
@TheCedricCeballos Until You Tube it was just a story I'd tell when great PG's would come up in conversation. Besides what people saw of him in NBA highlights I bet there are many more mind bending plays people who saw him at Cal & HS can post. He was truly gifted player a highlight waiting to happen every time he played, smart too.
