dude, someone tried to made a prank in my college, he thew a medium amount of sodium in the bathroom and it exploded, too good i gone to the next bathroom, it would have turned horribly bad, no physical damage but ewww that nasty water xD

This sadly doesn't work. Sodium just isn't strong enough of an explosive. Although the basic idea is accurate, he just didn't use enough explosives.

This would be believable if it was Rubidium or Caesium. Of course, Francium could easily do the job, but it's impossible to obtain (I think it's the 2nd rarest naturally occuring element).
