  • bret hart was better than this but i do love seeing him beat up sting cus i fuckin hate sting. brets best ever, simple as m8!!!

  • @TheSuperfrickensexy I was a WCW fan all the way but Brett was my favorite he was honestly the only reason I watched WWF/E even as a kid this was a great match when I watched it. The only other one I wanted to see was a Sting HBK square off.

  • @orthodoxyify sting was not a good wrestler, where do all you dillusional americans get this crap from? bret would kill sting and so would hbk, different universes apart. see you get entertaining wrestlers and great wrestlers who know how to wrestle. sting is niether entertaining to watch nor any good at wrestling. that goes for lex luger aswell. ric flair was the only decent one who could wrestle but he was pretty awful aswell. you cant compare sting to the likes of bret and shawn

  • what a way to waste a good ppv match

  • ALWAYZ BRET D BEST

  • Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart are dirty and cheats

  • so either win the game

  • bret hart is the most tricky and dirty fighter in the sport as well she did it to DDP

  • this match was retarded

  • lmao @ that girl "omg sting you're so sexy!"

  • Sting is such an idiot. He over jumps Bret with the Stinger Splash and K-O's himself. Than get smacked around w his o n lil baseball bat that he loves so much. N on top of dat he couldnt even tapout to da superior Sharpshooter. Serves him right Sting such a lil bitch dat da ref had to stop da match 4 him. WOW! Sting is Pathetic.

    * Bret Hart 4vr!*

  • @ZEROTURBO1092 ..sting was real, probably one of the most respected wrestlers of all time....never remember a time when the crowd bood him, whether he was a good guy or a heel, no one ever booed him....sting was more faster, more stronger, had endurance, was a high flier, technical wrestler...he was a better wrestler than bret....bret only was good with technicality and was a one dimensional overrated wrestler....dont get me wrong, i'm a hart fan, but thats the reality of his wrestling ability

  • the theme that played after the match was different from the one that played when bret was coming to the ring.

  • This match was terrible. In fact, I think all of the matches these two had were terrible, based on how great they both are and the type of match they are capable of having together. Bret had great matches with Chris Benoit, and they should have had a match like that between Sting and Bret. Instead they did this stupid shit with foreign objects and baseball bats.

  • bret harts the best

  • that referee billy silverman was a poofter

  • 2;48 wass really funny sting couldin see who hit him in the back so he hits the reff

the reff is in the floor knockout bret's waikin like it notin and hit the reff 2

    with a leg drop LoL!!!!

  • Hart and Sting get stuck in the midcard while Warrior, Hogan, DDP, and Goldberg get top billing? That's messed up. WCW put out such garbage a lot of the time, a lot of this is so much worse than today. You know Bret Hart did not have one more PPV match for an entire year after this? What the hell! At least nowadays the talented people get some attention even if they don't always win the titles they deserve.

  • @creatureofthenight1 That's incorrect. Hart and DDP headlined the World War 3 PPV the month after this event. Shortly thereafter he took time off to heal an injury, and then his brother died as he was preparing to make his return to WCW.

  • @VivaLosRhinos you're right, my bad. He did have one more, and I failed to take Owen's tragic death into account. He had good reason to take time off, but I still say that Bret was grossly misused in WCW, as well as many other talented stars. I can't believe he never had a big match with Hogan, it could have been really big.

  • @creatureofthenight1 I agree. He was definitely very misused during his time in WCW.

  • @VivaLosRhinos Isn't it a huge shame? A guy on par with Austin, The Rock, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Randy Savage, or any of the other greats of this time ends up languishing on the midcard for no reason besides Eric Bischoffs utter lack of imagination (and interest) with anything not involving Hogan or the nWo. The bad karma from that alone could have sunk WCW. Fortunately Russo was on hand to speed the process (eye roll). Good luck with that, TNA aka WCW2.

  • long hair= easier tipoffs but just look at both there body languages with each other forced and u can tell when they tip off

  • lol at the leg drop to the ref hahahahaha

  • lol poor ref

  • that because he hate bret

  • I can't believe WCW made Bret the worst heel ever. picking up foreign objects and shit, that's not like him at all. Bret was a better heel and face in the WWF (now the WWE), and what's up with Bobby Heenan? He's supposed to be the heel commentary(well he was in the WWF), but he's not doing a good job at it.

  • @ria1313 But WWE and WCW had two totally different wrestling fans and to sho the greatness of the Hit Man he easily adapted to the WCW style. I was a fan of WCW and I haven't watched Wrestling since but Brett Hart was always my favorite wrestler that's why I was glad when he came to the WCW.

  • did bret hart's music change at the end? or am I just imagining things?

  • yeah it did. I don't know why. Wait you know what that might that wwe copyrighted shit. I know when WWE show old WCW matches they'll tend to change the music because there are some wcw things they don't have rights to so they put their own music to dub over it. But they still had Bret's original music at the beginning, so I am just as confused as you. That shit is weird.

  • His regular song is better

  • Bret had an entrance theme, and also an exit theme that's why it changed. I think it should've stayed the same cause the entrance was better.

  • it wasn't called wwe ai the time, don't call it by that crappy name

  • Okay, 1: after they bought wcw as wwf, the first time they actually showed this match on their on demand program was in 2003 and it was wwe not f. So me saying wwe was acutally accurate. I'm not talking about 1998. And 2: It really doesn't matter if e or f, it's the same wrestling company. Just a lil' change in the letters because of legal issues.

  • @GlobalEnigma64

@GlobalEnigma64 umm, if you're talking about this match right here, then you're waaaay off and far more wrong. and you can be as direct as you want. i'll be furthermore direct. do not compare the what is now WWE to what was WWF, or WCW! same company, different stages. let me make it a little more clear. WWF/WCW were actually entertaining. world wrestling entertainment FUCKING SUCKS ASS!!! that's why i tell you to classify them differently. don't mix treasure with trash

  • @lilprincekilla Nobody is way off with anything. All I did was explain to someone about how the themes worked and you got all emotionally technical with what company to call it. Yeah it's trash now, but it's still the same company so who cares what it's called. It's really not that serious. WWF WWE WWB WWC. Who gives a shit. The conversation was revolved around Vince Mcmahon's company. So be it. Mix treasure with trash? it's fuckin' television for god's sake.

  • @GlobalEnigma64

lol, okay, so if there was an era where wrestling was entertaining, you'd call it wwe right? the era where undertaker, stonecold, and the rock were the greatest hits were in wwe right? where sting, hulk hogen, bret hart, and even ric flair were once big names, wansn't exactly in wcw right? because we refer to it is tna or wwe right? back in the day those were the names? yeah, on the same network but wasn't the same entertainment?

  • @GlobalEnigma64

the only reason i get agitated was because i consider those to be legendary years of wrestling and it was actually "ENTERTAINMENT." but since the bullshit is garbage, i classify them differently. keep calling it the same people may get them confused later on. i understand that you explained how the themes worked, but don't mix up the history either. that's my point, but it's okay, i see you don't care as much so i'll leave it at that.

  • This match is on the best of the 90's WWE WCW DVD
