Those were very nicely done..Really enjoyed watching them. You know the reason for the different colored homes on Burano don't you? Capri is lovely..did you go the the Villa of San Michele? thankyou!

Thank you. Do you know the real reason for Burano colors? Possibly each color for a family or so the fishermen could see their homes coming home from sea??
We did visit Villa San Michele. Then rode the sky ride to top - beautiful!

yes, so the fishermen could recognize their homes, (as they enjoyed sometimes a little too much wine) on their fishing trips, so they needed help in discerning which one was their home. You may have heard that also. What we noticed too, were the women lacemakers all wearing glasses. Easy one to figure out. Pompeii was very educational and lots and lots of motorscooters, especially in Sorrento. Have noticed though the world l has changed everywhere!..miss the olden days.
