I followed your instructions neatly, really... And it took like one hour and my hair was plain flat again. This doesn´t work for me and I´m too sad about it. As you said, your hair won´t curl easy I thought this might be my saviour, but obviously, my hair is even more rebellious. But I do like the style anyways!

I have your same problem when I style my hair to be curly they go back flat very soon. My hairdresser suggested that i put the hairspray on each strand BEFORE I curl it...do you think it's too damaging for the hair?

@shoen i have curly hair but i straighten it on the first day and then curl it like she does on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th day. (i used to not be able to go without shampooing my hair for even one day, but by using sulfate free shampoo and dry shampoo for the past month i've been able to go a lot long). so there's an idea for us curly girls.

Dear Kaley, thanks to your latest idea on using socks to roll up the hair at bed time, I am now the owner of not a single workable pair of socks.. Whatever socks the laundry don't claim are now being used by my wife as part of her "letsmakeitup1" hair essentials kit. every morning what ever pair of socks i find, looks like some sort of grotesque voodoo doll, or a nice little sock teddy bear........

If you have really straight hair and want to know a good way to curl it WITHOUT using heat, follow these 3 steps.

1.) Dutch braid your hair in the morning. If you don't know how to do this, you can find it online.

2.) Keep it in for that whole day, and the following night.

3.) Then next morning take it out and see your beautiful curls!

@rachellllllle If you can curl you hair with straighteners already, then it just needs a little modification. Bring the straighteners down faster, it gives a looser curl, and angle the straighteners so the curls fall outwards like hers do :)

When my hair was longer, I used to do this EVERYDAY. It took literally NO time to do. You don't have to section your hair, you just grab random sections. It's perfect if you are in a rush, like I always am =)

@Shoen Noo you should blow dry your hair straight, then curl it because if you straighten you hair then curl your hair the curls won't hold as long trust me I used to do that. I have video explaining how to curl hair on my channel and I have naturally very curly hair if that's any help! :D

@Shoen Yes that's the video! And to blow dry your hair straight you need to turn the blow dryer to the highest heat and use a round comb to brush through as you dry your hair. In the end your hair will turn out pretty straight and super easy to curl. I can do a video on it or I'm sure LetMakeItUp1 probably has one in it! Bow drying hair straight is often done at salons to give your hair more body while still being straight or so curly hair can be curled with out flat ironing it first!
