They shall take up snakes, and if they drink any poison, it will not harm them..." It's a complexed verse. Early Pentecostals built there doctrine around this, but since no other scripture can be found, very few church's practice this including modern day Pentecostals. Also this vs. isn't found in the ancient manuscripts.

In seriousness, I grew up in a very small town that was probably one step away from being a church like this. I never knew any different until I was grown and could make my own decisions about where and how to worship. This song actually goes very well with the video. It makes a (in my opinion) a powerful statement. Congratulations on a great work. :)

these people are morons. I saw a special on this one time and a guy was a member or preacher or somthing at a snake hanling church and they interviewed him and then showed where he got bit by a snake. He then stayed at home and his body was swelling badly but he refused any medical treatment saying God would heal him and the poison wouldn't kill him bc he believed in jesus. At the end of the show it showed them lowering his casket in the ground.
