  • hopfully coming too england form australia too watch arsenal very soon <3

  • I'm 13, and I really didn't know that! I'm a huge fan of Elvis Presley. And Arsenal is now one of my favorite teams!

  • I was an Arsenal mascot in this match. One of the best atmospheres ever!!!

  • Comment removed

  • ahhahahah u got pumped in that game

  • Wow. Fans singing an Elvis song. Fantastic!

  • @ashleyysantiago its been arsenal theme song mate:)

  • @Gooner14henry This song is shite has no meaning whatsoever our true anthem is Good Old Arsenal or B'Jesus Said Paddy

  • ehm.. champions league semi final at the day.:*? not often..:P

  • THIERRY HENRY IS BACK BABY.... GREAT GOAL TODAY AGAINST LEEDS!!!!

  • c est un français qui parle !!!

  • fuck off arsenal you cockney wankers!this is a vale song!

  • @dannyPVFC87 You and I share the same name mate, the only difference is i'm a gooner a you're a cunt.

  • what a shit stadium.

  • @zzzaaa09900 And you're and unbelievable twat, but i'm not complaining.

  • @southparkdude4ever you're a twat? lol

  • @PortVale04 yes but we are in the prem and your in league 2 so some how I don't think we are bothered by your comment

  • Our fans piss me off sometimes, it's the upper tier that does it in my opinion. On most league games everyone sings where I sit (Clock End Lower). But sometimes you could hear a fuckinn pin drop!

  • @manus726: My thoughts exactly. It is just the Family Enclosure and REDaction who seem to be the only ones who do sing.

  • Vale manage to outsing you at the wonder of you even when we only have a 5000 attendance!! Silly gooners

  • what game was this

  • 8-2

  • @MarcusSwe9 1-6 when you had most of your best players (unlike Arsenal). We at least don't lose to some overpaid sissys that have no heart.

  • and they failed on there ass... lost 1-3 L0L!

  • You must of been right next to me! Best atmosphere i've ever witnessed, and i've been an England mascot at Old Trafford. AFC!

  • i hate the fact that all the rich people have brought all the seats so there's no singing half the the time "WHERE WERE YOU AT HIGHBURY"

  • @aza2294 of course discounting the fact highbury was known as the library.

  • ARSENAL ARSENAL ARSENAL

  • what a fuckin brilliant atmosphere

    ARSENAL TILL I DIE!

  • Check out 'Amelia is a gooner'

  • The Wonder of you Arsenal.... The king is alive, he is singing in emirates wearing a gunner scarf. Respect from Independiente Santa Fe Bogota/Colombia

  • we love you, we love you, we love you, and when we play we'll follow, we'll follow, we'll follow, cos we support the arsenal, the arsenal, the arsenal, and thats the way we like it, we like it, we like it, wooooooaaahhhooohhoohhh!!! LETS GET THIS STARTED AT THE GAMES COME ON YOU GOONERS
  • Best team but change the song gooner4life

  • Sing a proper song....

  • You must be a shit club if they have to provide flags 4 u to create an atmosphere!!!! Ynwa!!!

  • TBH, It's getting better, when we mooved from Highbury everyone freaked out. It'll never be the same because it's not built cramped and intense like Highbury but definatley this season, the singings been getting louder, the fans near the away section are finding their voice, the singing sections always ben quite good.

Wish some of the commentators on here would just appreciate our mighty club, support the players and not moan so much.

RED ARMY! RED ARMY! UP THE ARSENAL.

  • The Gooner's; The best supporters of ANY football club ever! Greetings from Australia UP THE GUNNERS! <3 Arsenal F.C

  • our home support is shit(though here its fuckin beautfiul) are away support is like best in the league, the reason why home support is shit is cos the price of tickets is so high, so the ppl who go are the rich quiet ppl who go to watch only, who never sing or get involved, shame

  • @ostime14: The problem is that the 2 singing sections in REDaction and The Family Enclosure are at opposite ends of the ground and have a bunch of silent fans sitting in the west stand who disrupt the momentum. We don't get much help from the red members in the Upper Tier either.

  • EXCELLENT ATMOSPHERE ITS USUALLY A LIBRARY SO ANNOYING WHEN U GO TO SING AND FANS LOOK AT U AS IF U HAVE 2 HEADS , C'MON ARSENAL !!!!!

  • Allways bin the vale song allways will be

  • I'm fan from Bayern Munich, but I love Arsenal and the Gunners are the best team in England!

  • i was there

  • shame that united turnt you over :) although whenever ive been united the atmosphere is shit.

  • @EllzyMusic - I take it youve never been to a United away?

  • @mufcsammufc nah havent had the chance but i want to badly, cos ive heard how they sing at away games and it sounds fukin excellent, but at home i duno wherever i sit it jus seems to be full of old people that moan and dont sing

  • QUESTION 1 .. how come there is no ultras in english football ??

QUESTION 2 .. how come we have such a shit song like theres millions of songs to chose from and we sing this shit ? as fans we need 2 have a say in the club have our own personal song and have propper displays during after and before matches

come on u super gooners !!!!!!!!

  • @disisdjgriffin There are still Ultras in english football - lower leagues you will find Ultra groups - Accy stanley - Barrow (shit) too name a few... At the end of the day the FA want football fans to sit and clap not enjoy themselves or create an atmosphere - that and corp fans.

  • @mufcsammufc

id say theres a reason for it to not to be in the topflight of football in england its more of the smaller teams in the world that have ultras ,

    bar the italian league ...

  • Still a Vale song. Such a shame.

  • gave me goosebumps

  • One word: "Goosebumps!"

  • respect from Celtic Football Club, Scotland

  • respect from fenerbahce, Turkey

  • @Ommer95 BEN DE RESPECT derdim bir de elvis hayranı olunca ayrı oluo tabii. :)

  • respect from Fenerbahce, Turkey

  • I'm soft of glad Arsenal haven't won any trophies in the past 5 years, it means all the glory hunting twats have gone off to the other teams, and most the people left are proper fans.

  • seen as the though port vale and arsenal share the same club song.... do you fancy giving us some cash and a few of your players? we'll settle for van persie on a 6 month loan lol!

  • arsenal should have picked a better anthem who is about arsenal and much easier to remember the lyrics on

  • soo many yanks in here :s ?!?

  • Arsenal is great

they by far the greatst team

    you would have ever seen!

  • Still on the season ticket waiting list but I'll be the loudest there every week, rain or sun when I have it, Gunnnnners!

  • aRsEnAl FoReVeR!!!! :D

  • all chelsea supportesrs sing is CHOWWSY CHOWSY CHOWSY...posh cunts all of them..lol

  • I'm American and please English fans don't stop the support this is by far fantastic atmosphere in America there is singing no following your team fans dont travel to see their team. Just please dont stop I love it.

  • Sometimes our fans are a real let down, seems that they don't wanna sing unless we're playing our usual beautiful football and winning 3 or 4-0, but at times the emirates at full voice is unmatched, e.g against Barcelona the fans were incredible. Arsenal for Life!

  • Have you ever seen the yids win the league?

Have you ever seen the yids win the league?

  • Elvis Presley!

  • too bad arsenal have hardly any english players

  • @TheHeavymetal4ever too bad your a cunt

  • Our atmosphere isn't always exactly buzzing, mainly due to the corporate ring in the middle but our supporters (Real supporters who haven't just jumped on the bandwagon) are the best fans you could ask for. End of.

  • @xRyanN1x shutup you mug!

    your supports wank!!!!!!!

  • I'm an Arsenal fun from Hungary. I have never been in London, but I hope one day I sing this song in the Emirates! GO GUNNERS!!! (sry for bad english)

  • I'm an Arsenal fun. I'm from Hungary and I hope I'll sing this song in the Emirates one day! GO GUNNERS! (sry for bad english)

  • love this song!! love ARSENAL TILL I DIE!!!

  • @zblempt MUG

  • Not an Arsenal supporter, but I miss Highbury. And I miss the English identity of Arsenal. It all changed so fast.

  • And they laugh at Chelsea for free flags to try and create atmosphere..

  • @mehdiboy2 yes they do before chelsea was good they support was shit and still is but its got abit better now they are good

  • yes but your in league 2 mate

  • do arsenal have good supporters? better than chelsea supporters?

  • @mehdiboy2 Not a chance! There old stadium was known as the library and whenever they're getting well beaten at home ie Cheslsea twice and WEST BROM they leave early to show there great support.

  • @mehdiboy2 Oh yeah...

  • @mehdiboy2 we and chelsea are both shit at home... but arsenal away is one of england's best

  • @mehdiboy2 your talking out your arse chelsea have much better home support and away support I have to admit arsenal have very good away support but your home is shocking

  • lol ;p

  • Arsenal till i die!!

  • we need a atmosphere like this for the chelski game today!

  • Well we got it, at least from where I was sitting

  • the flags soon went down after 7 minutes. shame how we have to sink to chelsea's level to create atmosphere by waving flags!

but fair play, this is the best pre-match atmosphere i have ever been part of at the Emirates!

    N5 Forever.

  • 100% agree with you i am a gooner and a season ticket holder at the emirates, and its embarrassing that we have to go that low to chelsea standards sucks

  • This is great!

  • Well, it's not the fans per se, it's more of the atmosphere. We don't have the whole singing and chanting and whatnot. We're boring as hell, to be frank. None of our sporting events are very atmospheric, except maybe football games (our football).

  • Oh, and it's great to see that you all have some really dedicated fans. Here, we're composed of a bunch of "fairweathers" and "bandwaggoners" who only support certain teams when they're winning. Granted, there are some teams with really die hard fans--i.e., the Boston Red Sox (baseball), the Los Angeles Lakers (basketball), and the Pittsburgh Steelers (football)--but nothing like this.

All I can say is I'm truly jealous. It's too bad American sports don't have this type of atmosphere.

  • Ha, I'm an Arsenal fan, and if we're making you jealous then America must truly be bad. We get annoyed at our fans being pretty much the same as what you just described.

  • @doddsy89 Arsenal teams have alot to live up to, and they rarely deliver despite arsenes promises, year in year out the fans want a solid defence and a solid defensive midfielder (dare I mention a good goalkeeper) yet they are fobbed off with the same hollowed promises.

granted the atmosphere could be better at the emirates, but we pay over £1000 for a season ticket easily, and all we get is ifs and maybe's.

You been to all the shocking performances this season?

  • @GoArmy138 its not the steelers, biggest bandwagon team in american football is the patriots fuckin hatee them

  • @GoArmy138 Fuck off you yank we aint won something in six years , If you want true glory hunters then go down to south London and you'll see a team called Chelsea so STFU

  • @markowen1997 What the hell? I was giving you all a compliment because I love the atmosphere that's created at your games. Where'd you think I was insulting you or your team? I love how you're so quick to jump down my throat because I'm an "American", too. Excuse me for complimenting you and your fans for supporting your club through thick and thin.

  • @GoArmy138 Oh i apologise i didnt read your comment very well i thought it was the other way round :S Sorry.

  • @markowen1997 Haha, no worries man, it's all good. I've just gotta find a way to get myself out to an Arsenal game so I can see some real football (and yes, I'm referring to this type of football...you know, where players actually use their feet and don't take breaks every five seconds like the "football" we have here :-P ). Just amazing stuff. You guys are really lucky to have such an incredible sport and club to watch in person.

  • @GoArmy138 Best American Ever

  • @markowen1997 Yeah all Chelsea fans are gloryhunters and those 41,000 who where still turning up at Chelsea where purely people imagination.

  • @cfcsteve86 Still those 41,000 who turn up ? What do you mean still turn up You're still top of the leauge, the only time you can say STILL turn up is if they STOPPED winning trophies

  • @GoArmy138 been an arsenal fan ever since i can remember.. remember going to the highbury with my dad as a boy.. all i can say is.. if you think we Arsenal fans are vocal as much as i hate to say this.. look at Liverpool fans.. probably the most emotional and dedicated to their club in england..

  • @ZeeGooner I agree man, Liverpool fans always seem to be loud and vocal on television, even when it's an away game. There are some things about Arsenal, though, that I don't find in any other English club. Perhaps it's the style of play that really sold me, or the respectable players that fill the team's rosters (you don't see any scumbags like Terry or Barton in the club). Maybe it's the beautiful stadium, the chants, and the immense fanbase. Heck, I'll just go ahead and say it's all of that.

  • @GoArmy138 arsenal is easily the most noble club to ever exist in the world.. truthfully we are. we have spend almost nothing on players and are in the top 10 clubs in the world.. even wolverhampton has spent more on players than Arsenal... Arsenal's attitude is all due to Wenger truthfully a football genius.. and we are the most successful club in England.. Man-U is a British institution.. the government as well as bribery is the reason for Man-U success. Arsenal stands on its own two feet.

  • @ZeeGooner Very well said. It's amazing what Arsenal have been able to do with such limited resources (limited compared to Chelsea, Manchester United, etc.). They don't "buy" championships with stacked lineups, nor do they pay ridiculous amounts for players. That's one thing that really sticks out for me, and one thing that turns me off with other teams. They haven't been the most successful club recently, but the heart is there, and they still play the most entertaining football in the world.

  • @ZeeGooner A great example of this would be the recent Arsenal/Barcelona Champions League game. The passion in that stadium was UNBELIEVABLE, and the signature "We're by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen" song was just...electrifying. I get goosebumps whenever I hear the Emirates singing loud and proud for their team.

  • @GoArmy138 yeah havant u ever heard of man city or chelsea fans?

  • @GoArmy138 You seriously just named 3 of the 4 biggest fair-weather bandwagons in America. I love Arsenal, but this kind of atmosphere is matched throughout several stadiums in America. In the NFL we've got Arrowhead, Lambeau, Buffalo, The Link in Philly, and even Seattle. Most college football stadiums are outstanding, and a whole handful of college b-ball venues after football season ends have plenty of atmosphere.

  • @tkcyclone Hey man, sorry for taking a long time to respond, I had to delete my previous account (the GoArmy one). Anyway, those teams I named do indeed have bandwaggoners, but their die hards are just that: DIE HARDS. Red Sox fans are insane for supporting that team for so long (it took them eighty plus years to win a World Series), and both the Lakers and Steelers routinely sell out games. The Packers would have been a better example, but the hardcore fans of those teams are very dedicated.

  • @tkcyclone And you have to admit, compared to English football games, the atmospheres at American sporting events generally tend to suck. Baseball games are boring as hell (except during the playoffs), and American football games are composed of generic chants. I went to an Orlando Magic game not too long ago, and was surprised at how dead the crowd seemed. I agree about college games, though; those tend to have fantastic atmospheres if you go to the right matchup.

  • @tkcyclone I just love the singing, chanting, and passion that's found at English football games. You don't really find that type of dedication and atmosphere at American sporting events (except in a few cases, like the examples you gave).

  • @GoArmy138 what can i say mate, english fans are the best in the world, fact. especially football fans, we are the football hooligans!!!!

  • @GoArmy138 Thats bull, look at basketball, ice hockey <-- less atmosphere but great sport, and you have the whitecaps FC and sounders FC who have kinda tottenham atmosphere, sing when their winning and still shitty tough. But don't say they don't, please.

  • @Ro00n Basketball? You're kidding me, right? Sure, college games can be fun, and NBA playoff games can be rocking, but basketball games generally lack the same atmosphere and passion as English football matches. I've been to a few NBA games over the years, and the crowds were DEAD at almost every game. There was no chanting, no passion, no singing, and no sense of real commitment to the home teams. I will give the Sounders credit, though; they've got an AMAZING fanbase for an MLS club.

  • @RaiderHater578 Wow comparing American sports versus European when it comes to atmosphere and fans is just ridiculously stupid. I'm a big Arsenal fan, but i can admit English football are pretty quiet, and still they are much much louder than the most noisy Basket, hockey, baseboll whatevs crowd.

  • @RaiderHater578 basketball can be more than fun...just type partizan belgrade basketball and see what fans are ;) greetings from Serbia

  • I'm from the United States, and I have to admit, the atmosphere at your sporting events is absolutely incredible. The singing, the chanting, everything is awesome. The only thing that we have that maybe rivals it is college football (our form of football).

  • To be honest the flags obviously did help, as did the fact it was a Champions League semi final. Doubt you'd know about that though...

  • to all tottenham fans and man u fans this is what an atmosphere sounds like both u have none stay on ur own vids we dont want ur crap comments

  • sounds like a tottenham fan

  • @Block31WHL You're a tottenham fan who's club don't fill out a 36,000 seater every week, how many times do your games go on general sale?

Tottenham have to achieve the same consistency as arsenal, chelsea and man utd, and you speak of passion? The same fans that hounded martin jol out the job?

You are too caught up in the macho side of football, quit bragging about your club actually support them.

"cant fake an atmosphere" You are there every week, the soul of THFC's atmosphere?

  • Shame we couldn't have played as well as we sung this.

  • best atmosphere weve had

  • I like it, the wondeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer of you...............Arsenal fan till I die

  • Fuck what united fans say there not even real fans. glory huntin jump on the band wagon bastards.

  • lol its funny when man utd fans say our song is pointless, atleast its a song, theres is just a shitty tune, glory glory man utd. load of shit

  • hahahahahaha

    agree with you

  • the flags were a one off thing, not like chelsea when they do it every match lol

the tune is actually not bad :P, its actually port vales anthem

and this day, although we were raped 3-1 :/ was the best atmosphere at this stadium in a while

  • we lost that game=/

  • if we could keep every european night like this we will win the champions league this season

i know we lost this game but

the odds were well against us with such an inexperianced side

i would have given my left arm

for gallas, toure, clichy, sagna, fabregas, walcott, nasri, arshavin, adebayor and van persie as our starting eleven but it wasnt meant to be

    arsenal for europe 2010

    come on u gunners!!!

  • what arsenal should do is put microphones around the stadium pointing towards the singing fans fix them to the roof or something, and pump the sound out through speakers and that would multiply the atmosphere by about 2x and emirates would be a fortress why dont they do that?

  • Why not recommend it to Mr Hill-Wood and Mr Wenger?

  • thats what they have at Old Trafford

  • why do aresenal fans sing this song?

ive never heard it before, whats the reason?

  • No reason. The club just forced it on us by playing it before every match!

  • ok cool lol, it sounds ok realy, im guessing some fans are not too keen on it thouhg

  • @Liam2621 I personally think that the club is trying to prove a point with the song. 'When everything I do is wrong.' etc. We will be Gooners for life, not just when we win trophies!

  • aresenal for ever ,,

    in arsen we trust ,,,,,,

  • absolutely fantastic atmosphere. theres nothing wrong with planting flags if they help generate noise like that, rather than chelski fans who half heartedly follow the team. get behind the youngsters, sing your hearts out next year. i look forward to another top four finish, which is as good as winning a trophy! EIE

  • as appose to your carrier bags they give you.... yes... shut up little boy.

  • Damn this stadium and our fans deserve a trophy...gooner for life

  • This year, A quadruple for us!

For some reason, its always the World cup years that we do well! and the last time we went 4 seasons without a trophy we won the double so never say never!

  • @thousands1000 Why do your fans deserve a trophy?

  • Samjtssmith you're an embarrasment to the club mate...another one of the 'jjohnny come latelys' who i absolutely hate with a passion. Waving flags is shit, embarrasing and sinks lower than Chelsea in terms of trying to create atmosphere. Bring back the Highbury atmosphere and the terrace days of the 80s

    EIE.

  • shame about the result that night :(

  • Thanks for putting this up Doddsy - let's hope next season the fans can get behind the team and push them on.

    C'mon you gooners !

  • classic song :D i was down the front that night and if you looked up every single gooner knew it! even a little kid about 4 or 5 in front of me was singing every word.

  • Seems like they've tried to copy liverpool with never walk alone, but tbh, who wants to copy liverpool. Should use a tune like Baba O'Riley by the Who. Fucking brilliant tune which can really get u going, and its not too hard to sing to. But i went to the man u game and i don't really get to go to games as often but the atmosphere was certainly the best i've experienced at emirates, we need to keep it up, even when we concede, although hopefully that won't be happening too much next season

  • what u on about

  • The club decided to give us this shit tune, that bears nothing to do with Arsenal. Its depressing more than uplifting and sounds like it should be in the theatre not football! People that sing along to it obviously dont understand football, its not like YNWA or anything. Bring back terraces and let the real football fans back in the ground and create some hostility and atmosphere for gods sake, like the good ol days on the northbank, then again you lot probably didnt support arsenal then
