  • @IsisSlovenska Thank you Isis!

  • Your gift for writing haunting melody opens the door to the soul. Soaring,

contemplative, rich and all encompassing, this music fills the ears with

warmth, nostalgia, passion and contrasts light and dark. Thank you for

posting this touching and satisfying composition and to Isis for sharing!

  • @Kievest Thank you Candace for such a kind and overwhelmingly thoughtful comment. I'm touched. IT was my dream as a child to simply whisper magic into the ears of anyone who would listen, that's what I strive for! Blessings!

  • Beautiful but it is but a lovely glimpse of what it could be Oh...to hear full orchestration..... Thx your, Isis, for sharing Mr. Wilcher's talents with me....He is truly gifted.

  • @PlayForMeASymphony Thank you ever. I may look towards orchestrating it one day :)

  • I'm an unconditional admirer of Mr.Wilcher's works.

  • @MrGunterguerrero Blessings Gunter. Thank you for being here.

  • What a beautiful melody ..

    Thank you for sharing Isis.

    Congratulations to Phillip.

Happy weekend ... kisses to both.

  • @lalunahermosa Thank you. I like the melody too :) Blessings!

  • Hi, I think its so hear a sim. and really feel the piece at the same time, but I can imagine it would sound really beautifull when played on a piano/cello :) I like it!

    T

  • @thomandy Thanks thomas. the simulation isn't too bad, but hopefully it will be played one day on a real cello. That would be so nice! Blessings!

  • @PhillipLWilcher No you are right! But it can never give you real human emotions, and since I sort of know this I think this contributes to me wanting to hear this piece performed even more :) One can tell its a great piece though :) Btw - I have sent you the Intermezzo in mail :)

  • what a great idea to simulate, but how is this possible, it`s a beautiful dream*********

    all the best

    Kristin

  • @KWachenfeld Thanks Kristin. Simulations only really serve to get works heard until such times they are taken up by performers. Some simulations work better than others. It's merely the computer reading the score and simulating the sound through a music program. Glad you liked it though :0

  • Absolutely lovey! Well done! XOXO from Rose!

  • @sweetrose1944 Thank you Rose. Blessings to you!

  • Bravo!

  • @MrMrMikayel Thank you - blessings!

  • How so exceptional piano music!!! How so amazingly beautiful performance!!! How so very exclusive work!!! Congratulations my dear!!! Thank you so very much!!!

  • @BlueAquaMarina Thank you but this is only a computer generated performance for now. Glad you enjoyed it though.

  • What could i say? Just for a start, i must say it's an honour to have any piece composed by you dedicated to me! I've noticed lots of details that i can't describe well in english. If i'm not wrong, you used almost the same line of notes for both instruments, changing their duration and pitch. Each instrument resembles what the other is playing all the time and that creates a big sense of cohesion despite the shortness of the piece. Thank you, Phillip! And congratulations for such a fine work!

  • @trms83br Blessings friend. The cello line is really a melody independent of the piano accompaniment in that it should be able to be played solo, I think. I aimed for extended melodic line, in dialogue, as if it was a poem being recited. My complete pleasure Thiago! :)

  • fantastica melodia

    me encanto

    5**********

    besosss

    Mayca

  • @cinzia997 Thank you so much :)

    Carmen

  • @carmenaguirrerequena Gracias Carmen and Isis!

  • Wonderful piece of music!

How do you simulate the performance?

  • @pianogirl98 Thank you. It's the payback on the Sibelius 6 program I used to typeset the music after I wrote it.

I'm glad you like the piece :)

  • @PhillipLWilcher We also use Sibelius, don't think the playback sound that nice...

  • @pianogirl98 You might need to spend a bit of time exploring dynamic capabilities and expression etc......I'm new to the program. Still learning how to use it. I write my music first by hand though with pen and manuscript . Blessings!

  • This pice is fantastic Phillip!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

    Bless you, Isis

  • @IsisSlovenska Thank you Isis. It would be so much better played on real instruments though. Maybe one day! Bless you!

  • @PhillipLWilcher OH YES MAYBE, è veramente speciale e lo merita!!
