it would have been the same results no matter who u picked. u didn't block well, u walked into his tiger knee and missed 2 opportunities for either an izuna drop or diving claw. sagat is definitely broken in sf4, but don't blame the tier ranking for your bad judgement.

Vega players may have to really work against a good Sagat, but it's not impossible if you actually know what you're doing.

Possibly, but I saw him playing a few recently and he had to work extra hard but still ended losing. Claw is so ass in SF4. You barely have to worry about him doing anything against you so you can just rush him down and when he is in the corner he is screwed XD

First of vega is a low tier character however you fully main him you hould learn a backup character for matches you can't use him well. My example is opponent picks either Bison, Blanka, Sagat, Balrog, or Cammy I use ryu, or sagat.

I main vega and have alot of videos on my page, and since ive been playin with him for a while I can safely say that Sagat is definatley a bitch against him but not to the point of what just now happened, to be honest if you had just blocked a few times during his combos you would have won pretty easy since hes vulnerable after those attacks, not only that but you didnt really distance yourself like you should

That low poking combo was what killed you. I have tried maining Vega and it was bad for me. If you keep the pressure on Vega, he has a hard time fighting back. Once the claw and mask comes off, you are pretty much done for unless you get lucky and defeat them (I have done it a few times by sheer luck).

Sorry but you're a horrible Vega. You didn't block low enough, and fell for the same low poke combo multiple times. You could have backflipped at several points, and you did not even try to UB/UF walljump to escape the corner. You should have thrown him when he threw you, and you could have landed your Ultra if you stayed on the ground instead of teched, then Ultra'ed on wakeup when he tried to Tiger Shot you.

So no, it's not tiers. You made a lot of mistakes.
