  • Bernbo, are those wheels aftermarket and if so, where did you get them? I have an '09 and I'm looking to do something with it. Also, what size/brand ww tires are those? If you don't mind sharing...

  • @qlj72 The wheels are stock, and the tires are Dunlop wide white walls 130/90-16 front & 170/80-15 rear, hope this helps you out, ride safe.

  • do you have trouble on freeways? I usually cruise around 75 or so on the bike I have now and wondering if this bike will have trouble pushing freeways. Heard only having 5 gears makes it push for it.

  • @Griffination91 We don't have any freeways here but I can cruise at 110 kmh or 68 mph all day long , no problem, if you cruise around 75 mph, you may be looking for a 6th gear, might not be the bike for you.

  • A couple of months ago I bought a black & purple 2003 650 v-star custom. Bags, windshield, custom handlebars, flame grips, mustang seat(s) and tank strap, jarvin pipes, jetted, chrome covers, new helmet, studded gloves, purple LEDs and the bike was lowered a couple inches. Garage kept and only 1485 miles on the clock. $3000. I felt like I was 5 years old on Christmas morning. I'm not a big fan of interstate speeds so this should do me for years. I'll be sending for Big P's CDs. Ride on.

  • 650 is the bike that looks cool untouched either customised. ride safe!

  • @andzso I agree, it's a win win lol.

  • Sweet Bike. I just bought a 2003 V Star Silverado and it needs new tires. I was thinking about going with whitewalls and this video made the decision for me. I shot a short walkaround of the one I just bought while I was waiting for the seller. Search on my username and it should pop right up.

  • Hi. there is nothing better than riding down the highway on a nice sunny day on your cruiser, where are you from bernbo, i am from Australia keep up the great videos

  • Nice bike and video i just brought an 2011 650 classic for 8 grand it's got 1000 klms on the clock i am wanting to put white wall tyres on it , as mine is deep burgundy color.

  • @Farmer2492 Thank you, Congratulations on your new bike, white walls should pop with that color.

    Ride Safe.

  • clean as hell man. I wonder why you didn't go with a bigger bike though because you're a big man yourself. Nothing against you or the bike :D

    ps,

    potential future owner

  • @blueninja87 Well my last bike was a 1973 1200 sportster, don't need the big engine, this bike fills all my needs, cheap to insure, cheap on gas, super easy to work on, almost maintenance free, and it's a great looking bike. You can't go wrong with these bikes. Thank you for your comment, Cheers.

  • @bernbo

  • Hello! Maybe you or someone else can tell me.I bought a very nice 2003 Yamaha V Star 650 the other day.I love my motorcycle but I can't find out if I have the Yamaha Vstar 650 Classic or the Yamaha Vstar 650 Custom.

I'm wanting to know because some parts won't fit the.How can I tell which one I have the Custom or the Classic. Thanks,

  • @mrwiggly29 the easiest way to tel is to look at the fenders. the custom's front fender i small and covers about a quarter of the front wheel and the rear fender bends upwards just after the wheel with the license plate underneath. the classic's fenders both front and rear are larger and drape over half of the wheels with the license plate above the tail light, also should have classic on the front fender unless modified.

    Hope this helps

  • So clean!!! Perfect
