  • The main reason for two exhausts is obviously to get the same gas flow, whilst keeping the noise within regulations, so even though I did not get the opportunity to dyno the bike with the single Arrow exhaust it had fitted prior to the change, I can't see it having a detrimental effect on the power output... They do look the bollocks as well mind (IMO)

  • don't you lose any power when you have two exhaust pipes?

  • How often do you need an oil change?

  • yes mate, but I wouldn't use it for enduro as the possibility of damage is massively increased, unless you have converted to S/moto of course!! Apparently they have ceased to make the stsyem now, which is a shame because it is /was superb!

  • that exhaust system works in the te 510 enduro?

  • this bike is motherfucking beautiful!!! one of the best husquis ive ever seen! great job

  • Comment removed

  • wtf! it s beautiful.. i really would have it!! congratulations.. lots of money for tuning it!

  • Yes it is totally road legal, both in the US and in Britain, however I think in California they attach some canister crap for emisions!

  • Hello, is this the husquvarna 510 smr super motard?? If yes is it allowed to go on the road in canada because i want to buy one and i need to know thx :D

  • id be to afraid to lay her down id ride it like a girl!

  • @madrx2 That is my only worry, but you simply cannot ride one ofthese slow, and I don't. However I have a cut slick on the rear now and a racing wet on the front so it sticks to the road like shit to a brick! Even after taking the rear to the edge on the road it is still superb!!

  • @MRSPORTHORSES1 it sure is superb. I have a 2010 510te, I'm thinking of getting some smr wheels for it. Will the standard mx brakes hold up or be safe for the casual fang around the suburbs?

  • hooohoooooooooo POWER werry NICE :)) i haf honda crf 450 supermoto 89 Ps

  • @ZonenTyp84MD you have a crf 450 with 89 bhp pfffft shut up you gimp my husaberg fc650 only has 82 and thats dyno jetted with hot cams

  • @CR125MANIAC shit Husqvarna joa a aashool hehe fuck off

  • It is a Zefal "Spy" mirror, made for pushbikes, but work well considering their size. The bars are Eastons, but I do not know what the bend is sorry.

  • what mirrors and bar is that? the bend looks more comfy compared to stock.

  • Japan bikes look like Giraffes on wheels.

  • @acbyrne21 you are so correct!! 511s Pile of ugliness. Hold on to those SMR 450s and 510s...

  • The new 511s are to ugly to look at. The seat look as if it's placed on backward. Keep your 450s and 510s don't give them up!

  • @Bunn3403 one day they should collect these bikes.. Your bike is totally beautiful!!!!! Steal is real. The steal frame bike look so much better than those thick gum aluminum Giraffe frame, Japan bikes. I've never seen a Honda look this hot. And we know husky will kick Ass!!!

  • I have and I agree completely, it is cheap and nasty looking. I am going to get a mate to video me this spring/summer when I can,so that the bike can be seen/heard on the move

  • Have you seen the new 511r in the flesh yet, I have. Biggest pile of shit ever. Bmw have really had to much influence ruined it.

On the other hand I can't wait to here this under some load, we need a video of it on the road.

  • Yes they all come with ignition key and steering lock

  • @Bunn3403 no they dont. there are a couple versions that didnt,i own one.

  • do all 510's come with key ignition? And does yours have a steering wheel lock? Beautiful bike btw!

  • Nice moto

  • Who makes the mirriors?

  • are those mirrors street legal? i'm asking you because i saw them in a store and they are nice looking, so i would like to buy them...

  • i think thats the best looking supermoto ive ever seen!

  • this bike looks sooooooooooooooooo nice

  • very cool bike dude! But i have a question: can u pls tell me how ure mirros are called and where i can buy them?? by the way are they legal??

    THX

  • @DynamoHans69 They are called Zefal spy mirrors, and are actually made for pushbikes but work fine considering how discreet they are. I don't have a problem with them from a legal sense

  • great bike i jut dont like the seat

  • @GermanySupermoto The seat is very practical as it happens, as under hard acceleration it prevents you from sliding back along it.

  • @Bunn3403 yes your right :) i just dont like how it looks like

  • Hey nice bike!! do you know if this pipes fit de smr 510 2010? thanx!

  • @GoldDiamondKennel yes mate they will

  • which year of smr510 theese pipes are fittable too?

  • @mimic182 Hello, they are listed as 09> (when 510's went twin pipe), however they fit mine which is an 08, the only thing I had to do was make a bracket for the rear subframe so I could attach the extra can.

  • @bunn3403 no the mirrors, I like them so I want to get those and the bars also, I found the bars but I can't find the mirrors..

You should get a fender eliminator kit on it!

  • @R32RockNRolla Hi, the mirrors are called Zefal spy mirrors, and are for push bikes originally. You can source them on the web, just google them

  • @R32RockNRolla Fender eliminator kit?

  • @bunn3403 can you give me the link where you got them please... Is that a stock handle bar?

  • @R32RockNRolla Hello again, got what, the exhausts or the mirrors? No they are Easton bars and clamps, which are even thicker at the clamping area than "Fatbars". The bike looks a bit different now, there is other videos under my name which shows more recent footage

  • Just got my 2010 smr 510 awesome! Want to get those exhausts but they cost like 1300 bucks :( do you see anything from those mirrors? They look awesome on there!

  • @R32RockNRollaYes, they are not cheap, but worth every penny or dollar in your case! The mirrors are fine, obviously they are a bit more restrictive than the standard items , but you can still see behind you, so there is not much more they have to do!

  • Great bike!!

  • How long does a motor on one of these bikes last? "miles".

Im thinking of getting one as my next bike. I recently sold my k6 gsxr600

  • @112gsxr Mate, don't believe all you here about "race bkes that need a topend rebuild every 1000 miles etc" these motors are tough as old boots! Alot of people have given the top end a refresh after several thousand miles to find that there is no wear at all. Husky give a two year warranty on new ones, so they must be confident in their longevity. Supermoto all the way mate, twice the fun at half the speed!

  • @Bunn3403 I'm really considering on getting one this coming up year. They seem really fun!

I been riding motocross for about 2 year now and I have to admit I have a better time out on my RM250 than when I had my GSXR 600.

I could just imagine riding one of these on the street!

    Thanks for the feedback!

  • HONDa aprende a fazer motos

  • I'm buying one this year.

  • @TheRealEMURSE best 'Moto on the planet, you won't be disappointed

  • rev it lad, let us hear ffs

  • holly bike hahaha have you bought the entire merchandise book? ;)

  • Tht bench is disturbing me, it doesnt fit a Husq im used to the normal WR And SMS Bench witch is alot simpler and i bet better to sit on

  • How often do u have to change the oil ? and when does the engine blow off ?

  • @NemesisLooL I personally change the oil every 3 or 400 miles, depending on usage. I don't know what you mean with the second question sorry!

  • @Bunn3403

k m8, ty :) Sorry, when does the engine brakes down ?

  • @NemesisLooL I presume you mean, at what mileage does it need a rebuild. These engines are tougher than most, that's why Husky give a 2 year warranty! It really depends when the engine will need a top end refresh, most people say at around 5K, however there are bikes with many more miles than that and still on the original piston etc. I guess it depends on how you treat it and how often you service it. Youcan never change the oil too often, and always buy the best oil available.

  • @Bunn3403

    Okay, ty for the info...

  • This bike is sick! You should see what it looks like now...! Make a new video of youriding it dude ;)

  • hey mate im just woundering where i can get those mirrors from for my 510

  • @bainy510 they are called Zefal spy mirrors, are actually made for push bikes, but work well and as you can see are very descreet. Google them or e bay, they are about a tenner!

  • now thats the bike im gonna buy. how much on the bike have you modified

  • @erwinees I have uploaded the latest video of the bike with a few more alterations. The list of mods is rather long, but includes : Exhaust, swingarm, bodywork, handlebars, hoses, carbon fibre parts, footpegs, pedals.....etc...... I think you get the idea!

    Cheers.....Dave

  • That thing's fukin bad! You have a tof of rad stuff going on with your handle bars :)

  • sound like a hearty motocross engine

  • Yes I life in Germany. But at the moment I drive an Aprilia RS 125 without a (restrictor??) :P

  • lovely bike ! i bealive the owner is a hapiest person lol

  • And is this Seat more comfortable than the original ?

  • @tobbita No not really!!

  • Okay thanks for the info.

    Are these Mirrors legal?

  • @tobbita I've had no problems with them in that respect!!

  • @tobbita not sure if you are a uk rider or not but if you are your not required by law to have mirrors. i had a ktm 525 without mirrors or indicators and it was legal.

  • Hi ! I Like your husky very much. I think i buy a Husky 510 next year. Where did you get this mirrors?

  • @tobbita hello mate, the mirrors are called Zefal spy mirrors and can be bought on the net. They are actually made for push bikes, but work fine on motorcycles. The 510 is the best Moto on the planet....Dave

  • fuck it's beautiful....*tear in eye*

  • looks exotic, thinkin about getting a ktm exc 450..... hmmm, but now me not so sure.

  • @teamvisser I was looking at the KTM's too, but decided on the 510, don't regret it one bit! The only downside I guess is that you can't get as many after market parts for the Husky's as you can for the Orange machines.

    Dave

  • holy mother, n

  • that`s a machine! i ride ktm but i`ve had a husky before, great bikes.

  • Awsome Step seat. What did that run ya?

  • @mikemk92 They are around £100 matey

  • coolest bike i've ever seen ! husqvarna all the way ! gonna get 1 soon ! :D

  • nice moto, matey!! ignore the "Ducatti" guy (he can't even spell it right). quite obviously doesn't know what he's talking about.

    casio11, are we related?!

  • thats llike $1300.00 set up!! nice man!!

  • @saiapa like i said before - nice bike, but seems to attract a lot of douche-bags.

  • ktm sucks

  • Very sweet bike! Ignore the spodes who have no idea of how good this bike really is!!

  • Omg..!! that was the nicest 510smr i've seen !!

  • and when I catch you withj my KTM Duke, I'll eat your bike, 'cose it's sweeeet!

  • @13xBlackSun , on that tub of lard, don't make me laugh!!

  • @Bunn3403

well, your bike is still sweet, but you ain't that much, I guess :I

  • ktm sucks

  • @13xBlackSun but when you go in dirt you can't move THAT MODELof ktm... but if u take the sx it's another game

  • Congrats, you paid how much for 4 hp?...lol You should sell that and buy a Ducatti, then you can really pose hard in front of the coffee shop

  • @rednoseroxy That's your opinion mate, been down that route, decided that s/moto was the way forward. Twice the fun at half the speed. Like to see you try and catch me down a twisty B road on your Duke!

  • @rednoseroxy so what is the problem?we love posing, fast enduro and motard bikes and hot women!huskys and ktms are from other planets and we love them!

  • where'd you get those mirrors? on that site??

  • You sir have the best bike on the planet at the moment IMO. ! ! !

  • @casio11 . Cheers matey, it looks a little better now, as I've replaced the front and rear white mudguards with black ones, fitted some decals and also fitted a full carbon bash plate.

  • Where can i buy that fender?

  • @tsken2k , the front and rear fenders are standard SMR items, all I have done to front one is "Dremmel" the holes into it!

    Dave

  • hat der auspuff in deutschland eine straßenzulassung?

    weiß das wer?

  • Sorry!

  • what is max speed, i czech republic theres some law restriction which allow only 120kmh for this bike

  • I am running with an additional tooth on the front sprocket so she will pull 100+ MPH (160 KPH). In the USA a throttle restrictor is fitted which restricts the bike, but I don't know if it would restrict it to 120KPH!

  • Husqvarna SMR is truly the most beautiful I have ever seen! congratulations !!!!!

  • Thankyou very much!

  • Very nice!

  • What bend Easton's are those? Any issues mounting the handgaurds?

  • To be honest, I said to my local Husky dealer that I wanted a pair suitable for supermoto and that's what I got. I personally like them, and using the Acerbis supermoto handguards was not a problem, however due to the bend/thickness of bars I can't speak for other makes!

  • heya, yeah also interested in the mirrors!

  • Hi mate, I presume that you can see my previous post about them (I'm reasonably new to Youtube) "Zefal Spy Mirrors", as stated they are actually bike mirrors but they are great!

  • hello mate where did u get asv levers and the mirrors from i would like to get them

  • Hello matey, my bike has the standard levers however the mirrors are actually bicycle mirrors and are called Zefal Spy mirrors, which you can get on the net. Don't be put off by this because they are great and very descreet.

    Dave

  • Hello again my friend, the plastic exhaust protectors are from R&G racing in the UK. The step seat is about the same height as the stock item. By the way the full Leo Vince exhaust comes with a carbon exhaust shield, which is a nice touch. I haven't altered the fueling since I changed from the single Arrow race pipe which was originally fitted, but it seems nigh on perfect at the mo!

    Dave

  • thanks again for letting me know about the leo vince exhaust. couple of quesitons: do those plastic sliders on the exhaust come with the leo vince exhaust system and also is the step up seat any lower than the stock exhaust? thanks and nice bike.
