yo after the paint dries up and the shoes are done...when u walk normally shoes tend to crease...does the paint chip or come off when the shoes painted as such are worn???

sorry, i used silver spary all over my high heels, so it looks really nice and silver, then i used red acrylic paint for under the heels, could i use nail varnish or wood varnish to give it a good sheen or is that not good?

what other option could i use to give it a sheen???

@GeinaMM When I painted converse with acrylics, they chipped terribly, and the paint was good quality and I used a varnish sealer over it. I just bought some angelus paints (leather paints for shoes) and I'm going to try those out on some other converse I have, it is said that it is made to move with the shoes.

2) please correct me if im wrong: paint the whole thing white, use thin pen to draw, thick pen to make borders for big spaces, start painting (acrylics), go back over with markers, spay it with stuff (wtf is spruhlack?) and youre done.

@jigo53 yea. what i do is just mix it with sum acetone [which thins the paint and that what you want] and it'll last a pretty long time.

the last spray was probably varnish to preserve the shoe.

they look good. Why not start with a black pair though and just paint the area's you need white? Then you won't have all of the extra white and black paint to worry about fading/cracking. Seems like more work then you need to do.

Hi, well you got a point ofcourse! But there are true textile paints (we use them!) and special textile marker pens! (also those!).

Ordinary markers and acrylic paints will not stand the test of weathering, especially not on shoes worn often. Rain will most probably cause smearing of colors, fading, sun can cause cracking, moving too.

When special paint and markers are used the shoes can even be thrown into the washing machine without a problem up to 6
