Expression used to place camera where light/emitter used to be at earlier point in time. Then camera follows the path of the emitter. Use same expression to place Point of Interest at a point a little later than that so camera points in the correct direction.
t = time - 3;
x = thisComp.layer("Emitter").transform.position.valueAtTime(t)[0];
y = thisComp.layer("Emitter").transform.position.valueAtTime(t)[1];
z = thisComp.layer("Emitter").transform.position.valueAtTime(t)[2];
@GeneticSpartan Hi, I have used the standard point emitter with particular rather than using a light layer for the emitter, what expressions do i need to use to allow the camera to follow the emitter on a delay? or do i need to use a light layer? I just cant work out how these expressions match the movement
Ironically, I was just viewing over my subscriptions and noticed GeneticSpartan hadn't uploaded anything for months and considered removing him... only to see a new video added. Weird huh? Cool video though.
@eternalscrappy i thought so too, it was pretty long for an intro, especially when there werent any titles and just the symbol flying for like 15 seconds with nothing else happening
I took an image of a cloudlett, duplicated it a few times and placed them in the shape of a donut, animated them spinning, then used that as a sprite with the Trapcode Particular 2 plugin for After Effects. So, the tunnel is basically a series of "cloud donuts".
Can you do this with just the vortex and lightning please?

how did you make the tunnel not straight? Because i think that you just used the cc cylinder and then the particles... or did you use trapcode form?

@machinimador
I used Trapcode Particular
