  • Hell with this pulling through crap. Some of you drivers need to get back to basics and take some notes here. Good job Swift on your setup and re-set. Alot of people forget to easily on that one little money-making part of their job. I've had students that have hated the shit out of me because I would make them back a dozen times in a lot at the end of their shift, but they sure havn't had any wrecks after graduatiing off of my truck.

  • Could have?

  • And you wonder why swift has a bad name. I saw at least a dozen spots you could of pulled through instead of backing in.

  • You dumb drivers, please drive instead of trying to be the next movie STar.

  • That shows how lazy SWIFT drivers can be That is the Petro in Sparks, NV and there is a Swift yard less then 1/4 mile from the back door. next time pull in it's a lot easier, Unless you want to show every1 u gots your CdL last week. BIG 4 - 10

  • @Jetlag92 None of what you say makes any sense. Pulling through is far lazier than backing in. Why would I want to park in the tiny ass Swift yard 100 yards away...it's full of Swift drivers, and they'll probably take my hood off...I've seen it happen there. That yard is abput 1/4 the size needed to hold all the Swift trucks in Sparks at any given time. Lastly, If you read my description and previous comments, you'll see that this whole situation was set up in order to test the camera mount. THX

  • How you dumb idiots film anthing.

  • @lovangels55 I aint sure I get's tha queston

  • I love Sparks, NV. except when I'm coming down Donner Pass when it is snowing.

  • Got nothing but admiration for all you guys who make this look so easy, especially backing in on the blind side. There's enough car drivers in the world who can't do this properly.

  • nice parking :D

  • you could have just pulled through.duh

  • S.W.I.F.T= Surely Were Impersonating Fuckin Truckers

  • I darn nearly pee'd my pants on this video for some reason, especially when i saw that darn Red Rigger Pulled up...

    ~Future Swift Truck Driver~

  • I would love to become a truck driver but driving those rigs seems very hard and risky.

  • @VerdugoCityRider Driving is very easy, but the industry is grossly incompetent from the top down. There are literally more incompetent people involved in the industry than competent people. That includes everyone from management to the drivers.

  • cpl questions...1, why are you backin into a hole when obviously you couldve drove in?,,ok...only 1 question. lol

  • @Metal4Life572 Please see my previous comments for that answer. Thanks for watching.

  • well thats sucks and nice backing in but i would of just pulled through

  • why didn't you G.O.A.L

  • holy shit a swift driver backing!!!!!! someome!! make sure everyone in the lot is ok!!

nice video do you still drive for swift?

  • i laughed like hell when i saw that red nose come out of nowhere lol funny stuff out there

  • @SWIFT95330 I wasn't talking about just you but driver in general.Actually I haven't been OTR in years,I do local dump and walking floors now mostly plus operate hvy equip. That breaks up the day and I can load it MY way.

Be safe and stay outa them CB fights! LOL

  • Funny how choosy drivers can be about where they park.I almost always looked for an out of the way corner for the "quiet" it afforded or when I hauled garbage so it wouldn't stink others out.

  • @ziggster59 My choosiest moments are when I need to be close to the building with a line of sight to the WiFi signal for the computer. You gotta hate trying to watch YouTube with a bad connection.

  • @SWIFT95330 get a wifi antenna with a usb cable works great i use it in Iraq in my motor pool its 1 mile from the tower and it works as good as it does in my room

  • @wdmforrent1 I saw them selling those at the FJ, but I think the one's they have only work for their signal. They are advertised to increase signal by 500%.

  • @SWIFT95330 next time you see one pick it up the one i got picks up way to many signals its easy to find a unlocked channel

  • watch your hood swift is backing up!

  • i would have done a pull-in. if fact thats what that red 600 did.

  • dang. so close but yet so far.

  • Every guy knows your a real man when you can back into a parking spot....or anywhere for that matter

  • LMFAO had to be a swift lol

  • Just wondering why this driver is backing when you had plenty of opportunities to pull in. Always try to avoid backing as much as possible.

  • Never back if you don't have to. I guess this guy needed the practice.

  • Y..? do you back into a parking spot?????? MUCH much easier to drive in and drive out........Y ?Not to mention much safer...

  • Just a thought. how many times did you look right at that G.O.A.L. sticker on your mirror while backing into that spot with all those pull-thrus around? GOAL = "Get Out And Look" for you 4 wheelers and super-truckers.

  • Why would you back into a spot, when there are plenty of drive though opportunities?

  • @shifter3479, You can ee some of my comments below. I was testing out the way I had the camera mounted. Thanks for watching.

  • @shifter3479 DING DING DING U win prize shifter. I was thinking the same thing. Why take a chance on hitting someone when u can PULL INTO a spot a hell of alot easyer ....

  • It's happen to me before, at least there are many more spots open, would have really sucked to have been the last open one..

  • Bigtrucker I agree. Everyone's got to learn somehow! Rdrp74, if you had ever spent one day of your life in a truck you might understand why that video is actually a little comical. Because you know nothing of our life, you can go F**K your hat buddy! Go find some porn to look at or something!

  • ahh sparks vevada..........i hate that petro

  • you should have pulled him out of that truck and whipped his butt

  • ummmm.......that was boring and non educational...a waste of webspace

  • Well, so is my whole account, and the rest of my videos, so I hope you don't waste too much more time. Oh wait...have you watched the one about snow falling??

  • non educational hahah its fucking youtube

  • first come first serve i guess.lol

  • You cant get a swift to change lanes for stuff on the shoulder but they will back in when there is a full parking lot of pull thrus. go figure

  • I can't tell you how many times I'd like to change lanes for mergers or stuff on the shoulder, but some Badass want's to blow by at 85MPH. If I do change lanes, then he blows by on the right, before I have a chance to get back over. Just watch, you'll see for yourself.

  • even when I get over, many times they will then pass on the right at the very spot where there is activity on the shoulder. go figure

so...I get over to allow room, and then some Badass decides to squeeze between me and the activity at 75-85 MPH. What I can't figure out is why these guys drive like that so close to someone that they think is about to kill everyone on the road at any moment??

  • @nfn3vet Well I'd rather see anybody do a little practice backing in an empty parking lot rather than pull thru all the time till they get into a full area and crash into everything

  • backing is waht seperates the men from the boys. good job! i hate the sissy ass punks who pull into spots truck first then back out into the parking lot ,not being able to see ,making it everybody else,s job to look out for them.idle air has ruined many a good truck stop forcing people to pull in truck first. i never use idle air mostly because it fills your truck up with the stench of cigarettes.

  • You got better control of your mouth than i do. I think i would have called him a line o names that would make a sailor blush

  • Oh, I thought a few frustrated names, but I have a gimic wheree I try not to talk on any of my videos, so I couldn't even grumble about it!! Haha.

  • Yeah...you could have pulled in, but then those other drivers wouldnt have gotten jealous of your backing skills and gotten on youtube and started talkin trash...like they have room to talk. Hey truck driver, KEEP ON TRUCKIN!

  • i like the camera angle !!!! them idiots talking trash using their mommy's computer waiting to get a goodnite kiss from mommy screw them, good job driver !!!!! i'd like to see some of them post a backing in video

  • What a retard! Pull into the spot just like the truck that took your spot did! Never back unless you have to MAN!

  • Thanks for the advice. I'd be lost without you.

  • Just saying you know I'm telling the truth lol! Oh and nothing against Swift drivers either, you have to make a living somewhere!

  • You can read some of my previous comments fopr an explanation of why I backed in this particular time.

  • Ok I got ya now bud! And ur right if you pulled through ppl whould still say something lol! Becarefull out there bud!

  • under 2 mins to the hole. Good One..!

  • two other swift trucks right to ya.

  • I have to wonder if half the folks talking garbage are even drivers.

  • I'm sure they are...they do the same thing on the CB all day...Funny thing is, I wear a Swift shirt EVERY day, and not one person has ever said anything to my face. As long as they can hide behind the internet or the radio, then they say anything. Have to show their face behind the words, and they have nothing to say.

  • man is it really that bad, im going to go to the trucking school, that swift pays for and work for them??? but u know what u have to start somewhere, and swift does have nice new trucks!!!!

  • haha. u could've drove straight in on the other side. oh well. i did that once. i backed in and then realized,,,oh, there's another row behind me.

  • Yeah, i've had that happen to me plenty. If it is done on accident it's not a problem, I have seen some drivers do it on purpose (bastards) and I would say, in my own opinion, that the driver that is There first, or is set up to back in, has the right away, not the driver that spotted it first from the entrance, haha. In this case I thinkNice backing job by the way.

  • Who said he did anything wrong...See the title? I thought it was funny. Anyway, just because onlookers can't figure out what I'm doing doesn't mean it doesn't make sense.

  • Same thing happened to me at the J in West Memphis, AR last week.

  • Good professionalism in this footage.

  • cool vid!

  • swift sux balls and promised lots of things they never delivered. fuck swift.bet they liked how i just parked truck and got a ride home... hope i cost them lots of money....

  • Well...whether they suk or not, it's maybe not the best ides to abandon the truck if you plan to keep working as a Driver. They can put it on a report, that is kind of like a Credit report, that other companies can look at when you apply for work. Can't remember whet it's called. Anyway, I'm not sure what that has to so with my video. I hope you found a better place to work.

  • my step dad came back to work for swift. I told him to keep an eye out for your truck 95330. He is 304,793 (Volvo) but he has the clear led light covers on visor and trun signals on sleeper

  • 95330 isn't my truck number...it's a ZIP code. Trying not to broadcast my trucknumber, incase anyone ever has a problem with my videos. I'm sure I screwed uo somewhere though.

  • I understand. So are you working towards a new truck yet? my step dad got his truck BRAND NEW

  • It's called a DAC report and with the way things are right now it's going to be really tough to drive for any decent carrier with an adbandonment on your DAC!

  • Reno nv, damn, I could have sworn that was the pilot in Joplin. Good job driver...

  • the look way to hard for me lol............props

  • reno NV

  • Sparks, right next to Reno, really all one big city now.

  • What's up the red freighliner? Why isn't it white like any other swift truck?

  • Owner Operaters have different colors than Company Drivers

  • Thanks Buddy! Appreciate...

  • owner-operator

  • i used to back up when i couldve pulled through but that was just to keep my backing skill "up to date" but i did it into spots with no other trucks near.

  • Yep...you are the swift spokesman on backing....all those pull thru spots and you are going to back into one.who was your trainer?? Not me thats for sure, all of my student know the safest back is no back!!!!

  • EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKIN!!!!!!!

  • and bad idea to honk in a truck stop

  • The horn is on the steering wheel, so every once in a while when I'm backing I bump into it.

  • Oh right, sorry. My step dads Volvo has the same thing. But he doesn't have fairings and he drivers for watkins and shepard trucking.

  • GREAT cam angle! And by the way, good skills.."one shot wonder". Dont let the haters bother you.

  • great back. but even though nothing was hit, why not just do a pull through, like Conley

  • You should make a tour of my truck video. Just a little suggestion. You can ignore the suggestion it doesn't matter.

  • Naw, My truck's a mess(too, much stuff, but I'm working on that). I wouldn't even let ZT look inside. I might try to do some of the brand new trucks next time I get stuck in Phoenix. But I'll have to stick to my lack of narration, and add all the details with annotations???

  • How old is the Volvo? Don't you phase the truck out at least every year?

  • It's a mess because I'm living in it right now, and I'm a slob with too much junk. I got this one in Sept. '07. it's about 1 1/2 years old right now.

  • See...That's why I don't pay any attention to those who will talk smack. It doesn't matter what I do, as long as I'm in a SWIFT truck, someone will get on my case. Let's see...When I posted another clip with me going to a Pull Through, all the S*Talkers said what a Crappy driver I was for not bacling in...

  • I agree, why back in when you can do a pull threw in a half empty parking lot. And you never back next to another on your blind side when there are spaces available. A swift backed into my new truck doing just that. 6 spaces to the left of me and he had to try and get the one next to me on his blind side. Hit me flush in the left headlight and crushed the fender to the wheel. That why some get a bad rap because they don't do simple safety related technical driving all the time.

  • Because I was testing out the new angle on the camera mount.

  • why go through all of that when there was all those spaces and you could just pull through?

  • Because I was testing out the new angle on the camera mount.

  • is it reno, NV

  • Sparks, right next to Reno

  • Good park job!!!! I'll be joining Swift very soon!!! in 09'

  • great driving man really

  • Hey that's the ''Petro/Alamo'' In Sparks, NV. That's like 5 minutes from me.

  • Hey pardner not one to tell somebody their business but theres a lot of spots there all ya had to do was circle around an drive in thru beats backing any day.

  • Just making a clip from a new Camera Mount.

  • Im not fond of swift, but thanx to drivers like this they can have a lil bit of pride.

  • lol jacked from an owner operator driving for swift after you were lined up. Dont matter how many spots there were he picked the tight spot for the tutorial, but it got snaked. Kingofogres, go read another fantasy novel and leave trucking to truckers. Arent you late for your D&D meet?

  • Oh, I can't remember why I made that clip...I think I was just testing out the camera mount, and trying to make a clip of backing into a spot where I wouldn't have to worry about screwing up the clip with a bunch of pull ups. After I watched it, I just thought it was funny.

  • backing up in the middle of the day, when there was a ton of parking spots. i could've done donuts in that parking lot. where you trying to teach us how to park or were you teaching us the method of G.O.A.L. .. never understand

  • why would you back in in the first place? There was all kinds of pull throughs. Back your truck only when you have to driver. Didnt they teach you that is school?

  • petro in sparks huh

  • I see..You "Remember the Alamo" too. Yep, that's the place.

  • yep been there way to many times. be safe out there man

  • oh shit that sucks lol

  • sucks to be you, pal.

  • yea nice angle on camera...that sucked that you were ready to back in the spot and he pulled in...

  • BAD luck..better luck next time..lol..Happend everyday..just stay cool and make no scene..

  • a penny for the words that went through your mind lol. and where were you last thursday!!!!! check out my vid "compliments of swift" oh well sh*t happens huh.

  • That'll cost you at LEAST a dime.

  • I'm sorry.. I had to laugh.. With all that parking, he snags your spot.!! Good recovery though.. Hey everybody, a swift driver that can actually back-up.....

No hard feeeeeelings, I hope!! Your company logo requires that I must pick on you :)

  • hey I was wondering if you could take that vise grip and put it on the drivers side mirror upper bar and have it looking back as you back in somewhere? IDK just an idea.

  • Nice backing

    I like the camera angle

Is Swift really as bad as everyone says it is?

  • somewhat...every company has its share of idots..swift just seems to have more then usual..but you do get the ocasional good driver..like the one above =)

  • More drivers than anyone else will mean more idiots than anyone else too.

  • swift isn't as bad as everyone makes it..like dueltruck700 said everyone has its share of idiots but swift has more of them...

  • Yeah, i like that angle too. And nice backing.

I don't know, you can park in the back. i think the middle outside is the worst place to park!

  • Lol nice vid, and no bad language.

  • If it was the last spot there might have been some bad language(and the clip would have gone in the can) You can see how long I looked out the window, thinking "Did that really just happen?"

  • Even looking from here, he stormed into that space very quickly, but as you say ...plenty more empty spaces.

  • Yeah, I see what you mean. Whenever I'm walking at the Truckstop, I try to stick to the front of a row (It seems the safest) but he could have squashed someone who was walking by.

  • At 39 seconds. FINALLY! sheesh. I love the angles of this clip. I also liked when you drove by the Frito-lay truck. I used to yard goat for them.

  • all them swifts wow

  • This is at the Petro, right next to our terminal in Sparks, NV

  • WTF..ain't that a b@tch...lol. I liked the view thats for sure. almost a real POV.

  • That's kind of what I was thinking...I know I saw an empty spot there somewhere, what happened to it. Remember thay you can see him pull in since the camera is pointing that way, bot until you see me look back, I didn't know he had taken the spot. I was like "Where'd HE come from?????"

  • What an azz hole , nice backing..

  • I'm sure he didn't know I was setting up. There are so many empty spaces it wasn't really any big deal. Just a little surprising when I looked back there and saw my spot was filled.

  • Ya he parked way to fast, that was a nice freightliner you parked next to. (O/O swift)
