SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) and Client Configuration

i dont know if i m in the right place but this pop up keeps popping up all the time and it says ''The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was

not authenticated. the server response was:5.5.1 Authentication required" please

someone help me it will interrupt me every minute

to stop spam most providers implement security controls before they allow you to send via smtp and the the most common one is authentication. All you need to do is to enter the same username/password combination that you are using to receive email usually there is a tick box that says use same settings.
