I just saw her performing this live last night! So amazing! Corigliano was there too, and I feel stupid because I didn't know who he was. I love the music from "The Red Violin". The piece is called "Conjurer" by the way.
@motylektv This is the first movement of John Corigliano's percussion concerto "Conjurer". The movement is called "Wood", the other two are "Metal" and "Skin".
is there a better quality version for this piece somewhere?

@elisepatt149 Try filming without getting kicked out at Roy Thompson Hall. I dare you.

Why is this filmed so shaky? I had to scroll down so as not to be distracted from the music. Would have enjoyed the visual too.

@Romalatti This was shot secretly that's why is shaky and add the end little experimental touch.

Chilling! Too bad you can't hold a camera still while sitting, cause then I might not have motion sickness.

I don't know what piece it is. It was composed by John Corigliano who wrote the music for Red Violin. Evelyn Glennie was in Toronto January 28, 2009.
