Not all classes are announced, but the witch doctor assembles to a lot of the old D2 necro skills. I think the witch doctor is D3's necromancer.

Diablo beats WoW by a long mile. I stopped palying WoW because you have to put way too many hours in to get good gear. Diablo 2 had awesome music, sexy girls, incredible attainable gear, voices, quests and monsters, layouts - way better than Wow, and no pay to play...

actually wow used third person mode,but i don't wanna be a smartass and yap about wow.Diablo 3 has much potential and the developers should really use that advantage to make it a game of the year.This game should be really tough,because diablo 2 was too easy and didn't have much teamplay element to it(every boss could have been soloed ).Also more quests and some of them should be really tough,maybe introduce a WoW raid like thing,where everyone should have their own goal when downing a boss.

yes, i do.But a major(and i think the most important) part of diablo 2 was Battle net,that is why people keep coming back for more every day.I pointed out that diablo 3 now does have the graphics(i am not a gfx fag but most of my friends didn't like diablo 2 because they claimed it made their eyes bleed) and enviroment engine to make it really awesome.

omg this looks so fucking awesome! i really hated how diablo 2 was so dark and colorless and creepy... also i hated how it was so easy to beat hell mode, and people just pk others and win so easily and there were so many glitches, hacks, dupes, etc. this will be more colorful, have more variety, better monsters, more cooperative player, harder levels.... oh man i can't wait. PLUS NO PK MODE!!! i think they're only gonna have PvP in a special room or something.

People saying how diablo 3 looks too bright and colourful just sums up to me how people lost track of the storyline from playing d2 online, think about it, not everywhere in diablo 2 is dark and gloomy, what about Act 2 in the desert, very bright except for when it is night time. The colours should reflect the storyline and so should not always be in the same colour scheme.

Diablo 2's story line was about that conflict between undefeatable demons from hell and the heroes who attempts to destroy them to bring peace and all that. the atmosphere throughout the game was amazing although it was pretty creepy gotta admit; that, dark, gloomy atmosphere that makes u feel like ur actually part of that demonic world and feels like one of those demons will pop up from ur back any moment.

the squishy splat sound that happens with every attack animation needs to go... bigtime. Hitting a skeleton...(purely bone) does not go splat. Work in progress, so hopefully they will fix this annoying sound effect that happens when the war/witchdoctor do anything.
