@MapleTree621 I like it. But considering what most people think of the things I like, that's hardly a guarantee. What I'd recommend more, though, is to get « Les Trésors cachés de Michel Ocelot » if you're able to play it, as that has documentaries about the sometimes surprising techniques behind his work in each medium which aren't always deductible from the end result.
@MapleTree621 Ocelot's silhouette animation isn't all stop motion, by the way, there's quite a lot which is replacement animation painted on cells. But the close-ups of faces with believable lip-sync which are so particular to Ocelot are all stop motion as far as I can remember or tell and it's certainly notable for them.
Mon univers!!!! Ce film est un trésors de pöèsies et de merveilles!!! je suis l'un des plus grand fan! bravo bravo bravo! On manque d'instant comme celui ci dans le mode du dessin animé aujourd'hui!
Do you mean la reine cruelle (the cruel queen)? That's a very sad moment. :( An interesting, perhaps even beautiful, movement, which is what I consider most important, but a little traumatising to see repeated in the trailer with knowledge of its context in that story.
@Turtleheart, we haven't seen the film yet, so my daughter didn't know the queen is cruel. She of course gets that it is a sad, tragic moment, which appeals to the pre-raphaelite in her.
Attendez!
I plan to add subtitles to this upload of the trailer eventually, using as a guide the English subtitles for the feature itself which the DVD does have. But it's one on a very long list of things I mean to do ASAP
The film has been released on DVD in the United States as "Princes and Princesses," it can be found from most any online DVD-Video seller, and the French, Canadian and South Korean versions all have English subtitles as well.
Est-ce possible de trouver le film quelque part? J'aimerais le voir.Il possède une esthétique différente.

My daughter wants me to say on her behalf:
She likes the moment when the princess lowers her face into her hands.
