@holykmckil it actually had TV commercials  plenty of people knew it was out. the only reason it didnt go big is because people were too afraid of the change in the game

Finally game reviewers that aren't so boring! The guy on Gamespot is awesome don't get me wrong, but he is really bland and obvious compared to these guys. And btw Fog of war should always be on if you love true AW :D

my only complain about the game, is the multiplayer part, people quite often drop out if they arent doing good.

Awesome game! Even though it's called differently in Europe...By the way, that's a thing that I cannot Understand...is it some kind of Secret Policy? Is it just to limit the Wi-Fi connection to some area?

But EVERYTHING's changed!!! character's names, chapter's names, unit's names... What were they thinking ??!!? O-o

This is perhaps the greatest tactic game ever made.

At first I got both this game and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2. I played AW, and found it extremely hard, so gave it up, and instantly found FFTA2 to be more addicting because it is much easier, and I suck at tactic games.

Then later, when I got bored of FFTA2, I played AW again, and instantly loved it. The difficulty adds as a pro. The thing about AW is that it's a lot more realistic in terms of strategising.

Great game, 9/10

FOV is must btw, just look at game like wc3. Removal of double turns was ok, but they should have kept tag-teams but without the ability to make turn*2, just a better COP. Leveling up ok, but the was you must add a CO is a bit meh, besides, at this point, they should have made special CO-unit instead of having to place it inside. Also, which the FUCK is the co-unit used when you activate the power? that's bullshit too.

AW2 was the best. The best game would be a nerfed dual strike, really.

The post-apocalyptical story is a whole load of bs imo, but never the less, the AI of the game should have been tweeked a bit more to do mistakes more often, because at times it gets really frustrating. Making the game more tactical is putting more weight on the monetary system which makes capturing properties a high priority, good thing if you ask me. The online is awesome but I hate the fact that they removed my beloved war room. They have stripped the game far 2 much. No shop, WR etc, sucks!!

Yeah, I would have been fine with this game with the following: - Normal co powers - Non-stripped dual strike units - Old dual strike characters just for fun on versus - THE PIPE TILE IN DESIGN MAPS - More Co's (the orignial advance wars had the same amount and their characters were more diverse) - Add a little more specialization to all the characters, they all played the same for me. - Final battle should have 4 teams. - War Room - Combat - Survival - Units with more characterized graphics

I love this series. In fact I bought my DS because of Dual Strike. I am now playing part 2. It's great as well and I wouldn't be able to say which part is better. It's a shame though they dropped the Dual Strike.

Most of the early part of the game, you can just use your pre-deployed unit tactically to capture the enemy's HQ in the shortest turns possible. This game is not that hard unless you don't have the patience to play.
