  • I nursed my son until 13.5 months when we co-weaned out of frustration because of slowed milk/dried milk from being pregnant. He had already been down to only nursing once or twice a day already. He never liked a blanket over his head! Its not my fault my breasts are larger than some and therefore more easily seen in public. Since becoming a Mother I have found a new respect for my breasts and what they are truely meant to be!

  • well my daughter is 14 m0nths and i was planning on weaning now, but i know the who say she should feed until 24 months, so why is breastfeeding after 6 months such a big deal? to other people//.

  • If they have teeth, I don't want them near my breasts.....that's my personal opinion

  • Why don't you lift your shirt up to conceal the breast more? that's a simple solution.

  • Sonia, you have fantastic breasts and I love and admire the fact of how beautifully figured God has created you women and your nuturing nature. I admire you very much.

*I send my middle finger to all the ignorant hypocrits out there.

  • He's such a cutie pie....:)

  • @LoveABabytoday Man if someone said that to me I'd look them right in the face and say "Oh, shut up."

  • All I know is I can't do it...but if you can, all power to you.

  • You go girl! I'm still nursing my 16 month old, its such an awesome thing and so benefitial to both of us. I'm proud of you for posting this, its really to bad its not a norm in this country like it is in others. they say america is so great and what not, and yes it is very advanced in some ways but in alot of ways its behind. for those of you that get off on this or think its perverted and what not, what is wrong with YOU? look in the mirror

  • Well like I said, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm glad that's the way you feel. On to the next one.

  • that's cuz u conditioned him to do it withou the blanket.

and if he's being a brat u just hit em, or refuse him service.

    seriously... white ppl! [shakes head]

  • Breastfeeding is natural. People need to get over it. Its not porn, its not explicit, its just plain natural. If you see someone who is breastfeeding their kid in public and you dont like it, then look away and leave the nursing mother and her child alone, in peace and wuite and comfort. Take it or leave it, love it or hate me. Don't really care. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Good job Sonia. Do your thing ma.

  • @Souljahmon1 sex is natural too u know..... i guess mommy and dady should have no problem fucking in the same room as baby.

breast have 2 purposes... and to pretend that the sexual purpose somehow takes a backside is stupid.

  • I wionder what all they naysayers would say about it if THEY werer forced to wear a blanket on THEIR HEADS... or eat in a bathroom.... or any of the other things uneducated, uncaring, rude people say.... and furthermore, they are for the BABY, not for advertising beer or anything else.....

  • he pulls it off dummy because he is 15 months which is starting to get to old for breastfeeding- thats ment for babies like 6 months! thats why people breastfeed but most women have lives and need to live them so 6 months is good.

  • @Lemon020202

Um no it's not too old. In some cultures, children nurse til they are five years old. Really, children should nurse until they're at least two because of the nutrients and benefits.

Now what is disgusting is children still in diapers at ages three or four.

  • @Lemon020202 wow....retarted.....so live your life for yourself and not your child?

  • @FalseDisposition you are retarted...you live for your children, they do need more than a tit past 6 months! Like a mother trying to earn a living to pay for the high prices of life! You think only a man can pay a 1700 dollar mortage a month on a house! This woman has nothing going for her, all she does is make breastfeeding videos! You do know that most people in this world have surived well on less than 3 months of breastmilk, we are fine, and will be. But 15 months is too old.

  • @Lemon020202 Ok, we survive "fine" but don't you want the best for your children? Do you know how beneficial, neurologically, breastmilk is? Then again, that's doubtful, I'm sure you only went 6 months on breastmilk. This woman actually does have something going for her, she's going to have a smart child. And how do you know this woman doesn't have a career? 15 months is not too old, that's not even 2 years old! Many many mothers of children who have high IQs have fed their children for longer!

  • @Lemon020202 However, I'm guessing you're a male....And if that's true, what say do you have about any of this?

  • @FalseDisposition ...just proved your an idiot! You live your life by sterotyping people! I'm female! and have more life experiences than you thats why I can look out side the box! Nothing is good in excess! Everything is good in moderation. weaning is such a problem because of excessive feedings, its proven fact, yet another study a child that was breastfed for 5 months and a child of 2 years have the same IQ but the 2 year old have problems letting go and growing up!

  • @FalseDisposition Explain to me why there are so many smart adults that weren't breastfed, like Bill Gates? Hello? High school drop out, etc..Then you have dummies that can't give up the tit at 4 and at 30 are nothing? and vice versa! If the mother has oral sex and swallows sperm, pussy etc..the baby doesn't get it in the breast milk. Yes the child is eating the cum mommy swalled too! So again just another point it depends on the woman and not on the milk. If you are around smokers?

  • @FalseDisposition You really need to learn and see beyond what you read in the paper! I was breastfed and I did breastfeed by child so I know what the hell i'm talking about! I was a straigh A student cause I studied hard, not because I sucked by mothers tit! Breastmilk is good, but it depends on the woman, if she is a smoker the milk can actually do more harm! if she is a drug addict etc.. or a oral sex worker etc.. You need a job!

  • @Lemon020202 First off, how do you know I don't have a job? Second off, not ONLY is it better neurologically but breastmilk contains immunities that can not be replaced by formula. Why does it matter anyway?

  • I would have slaped that little shit off! and break his ugly neck. future rapist!

  • R u hornie?

    y

  • hahaha! so funny. what a cutie. he wont be ashamed, just like his momma.

  • @amandaconda5 lol like when he is 6 and saying mommy can i see your pussy and want it too like boobie.

  • If you use the blanket from birth, the baby is used to it and is comforted by it. They actually want to be covered and snuggled up.

  • @Pinkrosesdl tried this, it didn't work, she hated it, from the day she was born to the day i stopped feeding her, not once would she feed wiht it over her head. kicked, screamed and unlatched. It wasn't worth the trouble.

  • He's 15months old here, he's only taking the blanket off because he's smart enough i bet he wouldn't of at 2months

  • as human it is also natural for us to eat, to urinate and poop. But we dont just do it whichever the way we like. We have learned some ethics when eating and because it is normal for us to eat, we usually don't eat in public and certain occasions the same way we do in the privacy of our house. The same in breastfeeding in public. See "Breastfeeding in Public" by dirtydiaper diaries and see the proper way

  • what matters is the type of clothing that a nursing mother should wear not the blanket. A nursing mother should wear a clothing that is specially designed for nursing mothers when nursing in public. Which only expose the nipple area. Or wear something that not is tight, not those hugging the body. Wear a loose shirt over a thin sando which has a really low neckline exposing the breasts and pull up the shirt when you need to breastfeed.

  • I couldn't help but giggle when he bit you, but I know what it's like!

And I completely agree that all a blanket/nursing cover does is draw attention!

  • wow well id love to breastfeed on u anytime and wow what great breasts and nipples you have got can we see more please

  • I never actually found myself in a situation where I was nursing him in the heat, probably because I didn't usually nurse on the sidewalk. I remember nursing him at teh park, but we just went in the shade. Other times, I would go into a coffee shop.

I also had a carrier that shielded him. I have a video that shows how I nursed him in teh carrier.

  • Thanks for sharing your videos...about the blanket, my daughter does not mind...it's me that drives me nut...I hate to try to put a blanket on my shoulders. It falls off or my daughter starts to play with it. For the ones who are concerned about that, there's a nursing hat (nice hat for the babies that covers baby's head and your breast) on sale on La Leche League.

  • but if your son really hates the blanket then, it does'nt really matter anyway, u need to feed him and thats whats important...in my country woman feeds their babies in the public w/o any blankets and people wont react since there no malice..and its just natural

  • i breastfeed in the public too but i really put a blanket on it... my son are use to it since i've been doing it when he was just born.

  • Of course it had a postitive effect on his immune system! It ALWAYS does. There are so many benefits to breastfeeding after 12 months. You will benefit his immune system as long as you nurse him. It does not matter his age. I'm proud of you. :)

  • Did he bite you when you jumped?

  • He nipped me.

  • Sorry, but I think your son might be a bit spoiled. When he pulls it off you just take it right away, no wonder he keeps doing it... That or maybe he doesn't like a blanket directly on his face, I wouldn't either. Get a nursing cover that attaches around your neck so it's not directly on his head, and also that way he wouldn't be able to pull it off.

  • If i had a newborn, I might do things differently, but with my son by the time he was a few m onths old, it was too late to change his habits. Or maybe I wouldn't do things differently. My friends and I all nursed openly when our babies were young and that is quite well accepted where I live. And we and our babies are all happy about that.

  • @sonia989 my daughter was exactly the same from birth, I tried it from when she was just a few days old, she never got used to it, and never fed while it was there, she would kick, scream, unlatch, refuse to relatch.

  • ...I am assuming that you have chosen your 'battles' and have determined that modesty is non-issue. I am sure you have received many negitive comments from viewers and that cannot be easy to deal with. I think we would all do well to respect each others point of view in regard to modesty. Best wishes.

  • I respect your efforts to de-sensitize the western world about nursing. I nursed two children until past 20 months each. I used the blanket draped over my shoulder when nursing in public for both of them with no issue. It is just like anything else they get used to it. If you remove him from the breast for biting or other behaviors you don't like you could do the same when it came to him throwing the blanket off. (cont)

  • b00bz :)

  • My son has never like being covered up when nursing. He would pull the blanket off at about 3 months. He's now 14 months and doesn't even want me to have a shirt on. Thanks for sharing your videos. I a big supporter of extended breastfeeding.

  • dont see why anyone should breast feed beyond 12 months

  • Go to La Leche League website or google 'benefits of extended nursing' and you will understand.

  • sonia u are good frd have nice vidoes. i am intreted 2 friendship with u

  • Good for you Sonia989 !!!

Our North American attitude is incredibly hypocritical. It's ok for there to be naked breasts in almost any scenario. Magazines, movies, television, woman walking down the street with their cleavage hanging out etc... but not in the case of a nursing mother. A nursing mother is offensive. It's ridiculous.

  • Yup. True.

  • My son started to bite when he was a newborn. Although he had no teeth it still hurt, but I wasn't going to wean him off as a newborn. Great video! : )

  • my daughter is 14 months and i still nurse her its the most PRECIOIUS thing we can do as moms way to go and do it as long as your able too! Dont ever hide from this we shouldnt ever hide from the most precious thing ever.

  • Great videos! Thank you for sharing!! I am so with you on the blanket thing...what an attention grabber.

  • Thanks. People have no idea what they are saying when they tell you ti use a blanket.

  • The baby bit his mom. Rule of thumb if the baby can bite your nipple off its time to think about switching.Although if my mom was built like that I might still be breast feeding at 384months.

  • My son bit at 4 months- way too early to wean. Now it's very rare he nips me. By fluke I got it on video- but it goes to show it's not the end of the world when it happens. You just have to tell them 'no biting'.

  • @Shembelial or me at 1053 months. lol.

  • Good job! I breastfed my daughter at 15 months too. The experts agree it's good for the child.

  • People who tell you to cover up need to screw off. There isn't any reason to put a blanket over your baby's head when breastfeeding. If they don't want to see a natural and beautiful thing then they shouldn't look.

Who wants to eat under a blanket anyway?

  • though your description is nice and informative, but your breast is also beautiful.

  • we need new video evry week,sonia...i like ur baby and ur breast feeding style ;-) i'm waiting 4 ur new video.

  • yeah u have awesome breast....u should be proud of them....and then u go an put a blanket over them...pitty

    Thanks & Regds.

    L U C K Y.

  • you can cover a very young baby with a blanket but once they become active and mobile, forget it.

  • Good job Sonia...I like the blanket all over your head too! My favorite.

  • I'm glad you put this up, because it's true... children don't want to be covered up with blankets while they are trying to fed... Good point shown here.

  • ooooh,

waiting 1 month for new vid, and then you're gonna do this blanket thing...really a pity!

  • OMG , soooo cuteeee he just said "daaaad" at the end of the video? sooooooooooooooo cuuuuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeee..... hahahahha by the way that's the most funny thing ii ever seen/heard, put a blnket over the baby head while feeding? yeah suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuureee ...... thx for posting...... cheerz, greetings from Venezuela
