I am not trying to be mean. But her hair could use a good steam curling, a downy dunk, and an eye fix. I think stephenswodadancer has videos on that :) And I will make a video on a different way to steam your doll's hair :)

I have 2 Samantha dolls, one was my first doll (I got her for my 9th birthday in 2008) and I got the other doll at a yard sale for $20. She was in good condition(but she smelled like she had been in storage for like 17 years!) and she's really pretty. I did the same thing on Sam...........and now she's beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is from 1993 and my first doll was from 2008. I love the video!!!

after the makeover she looks like shes sorta new! do u happen to know how to repaint the dolls lips? i just got samantha and her lips are pale..

yes i do know how to re-paint the dolls lips. i didnt know at the time i made the video so i didnt do it until after.

type in 'how to repaint american girl doll lips' into youtube and you should find a video.

i very carefully took a cotton swab and a toothpick and cleaned the dust out of her eyes

i Baught Samantha off ebay just yesturday and when she gets here im gonna fix her up but she is in really good condition she just needs a cleaning, hair brushed, washed, and hopefully curled, and repaint on her lips hopefully!!!

she looks much much better. Most of my ag's r from ebay. I have a makeover vid for my Kirsten doll. Also, u can paint her lips to add coloring. I painted my Molly's lips and cheeks.

what did you do to clean her skin

i put baking soda and water on a towel and rubbed it on her skin and it got the dirt right off.

You should use armorall vinyl protectant spray original formula, on her hair it really makes it shine, I used it on my old samantha now her hair looks like new! I thin stephenswodadancer has a video on how to do it!
