The Ballade (Concerto) continued in South Africa until 2000 when it switched the name back to Civic. Honda South Africa never had the problems the UK faced as Honda SA was part of Mercedes Benz, and thus manufactured to much higher spec than would have been found in the UK.
@Denver542 To the best of my knowledge, they are rare because not many of them were made to begin with, and they were sold all over the world (Japan, Europe, Australia). However, the parts are rare and costly to come by, most likely contributing to the lack of them, as people are unable to repair them easily, and thus get rid of them.

Why is the Honda Concerto so rare? Well at least here in Sweden they are. Is there a good reason for that?
