Well I can say that none of my mates or myself think like this xD....Im up in Cairns (major tourist town) so I get this a lot, and we just laugh it off or give them a hand at getting it as good as they can.....If they start talkin lines from old movies we just laugh and tell them no one says that....Sure as hell we arnt thinking about spitting in their burgers wtf....Think this might be a personal issue bud, one that definitely needs changing in my opinion
@rwill146 I was joking about spitting in the coffee haha. Of course you are right. Good to see you putting work in for the Australian tourism industry.
Where did I say Australians were sad?..I said sad that the English queen is the Australian head of state..and that is sad Australia can't have one of it's own at the top...don't you think I am being pro-Australia with that point of view?...as for Earl's Court..it has been a few years since I've been to England so you could be right there...but you can't deny Bali is the chosen destination for the Aussie herd in se Asia.
@grozbrn - Having done a fair bit of travelling in se Asia, Americans, Europeans and Australians in large groups can be pretty obnoxious but on their own and having travelled widely on their own Americans and Europeans are generally quite decent and likeable. You don't see that many Aussies on their own however..they need their herd badly and I guess that's why they still cling to Britain and have an English queen as their head of state. Sad really!
@terrythekittie Really? I notice that your channel is in Australia. If you really live here, do yourself a favour and get out of Australia if you dislike Australians so much. You don't belong in a country when you can't stand the people of that country. I have hitch hiked the world twice, lived in Paris, Athens, London, and went to school in the US. I always travel alone and I like to see the cultures of other countries. Lots of Australians do. I'm just saying what I've experienced.
@saintfletcher - Where did I say I dislike Australians? Isn't it true that travelling overseas, Australians tend to travel in herds?..not all like yourself but generally in groups .. .have you heard of Earl's Court,?..the Aussie ghetto in London....Aussies are happy to make fun of other ethnic groups so don't be so touchy about an observation on your own kind....and to make you happy like a lot of Aussies I do live overseas.
@terrythekittie You said that Australians are "sad". You rely on old stereotypes. I've been to Earl's Court. Apparently that hasn't been an Australian ghetto for years. They can't afford it. So how out of date are you? I'm not being touchy. I don't give a dam what you say. And I couldn't care less if you live "over seas" or "over deserts" or "over the moon". You can generalise with your steriotypes all you like. I am not impressed.
One time I was in Geneva Switzerland on a tour and one woman in her southern american drawl asked A gardner "Where's the Bathrooms" . The gardner responded with a withering look and said "SPEAK FRENCH!"
@grozbrn Oh that poor lady. I bet she was busting to go. In France, the rule is you are supposed to try to speak French, and when they can't stand you butchering their language, within a few seconds, then they speak in perfect English. It's a French thing. Most people in Australia would be very polite and know that she is in a hurry. The problem is, they don't have as many public toilets here as there used to. You usually have to use a bar, or a pub toilet.
I am sometimes really embarrassed by the behavior of Americans when they travel, because I am sure it is the boorish ones who stand out and are remembered for their bad behavior. But rest assured many of them are just as rude in their own country. I think someAmericans are pretty oblivious of their own obnoxious behavior for the most part, so don't hesitate to put them in their place when they need it. I think that being direct is the best way to deal with things like this when possible.
Hello! ^_^ That video of yours got me an idea for the next vlog I'm making, which will be about the same but the topic will be about the phrase from the European French that offends most French Canadians, you'll see about it tomorrow.
@oniichanrikku That would be interesting. Do they have arrogance to French Canadians? Most of French America was lost in the USA and many forgot French. It is sad when we forget our historical backgrounds. In Australia, we are sometimes lost when our backgrounds are cut off for both Indo-European / Asian Australians and Aboriginal Australians. All we have is now and the future. Is there a future including our roots on Earth without a past?
@billyCtv Don't say that. I've seen the video's you are talking about. I think they were funny as it is genuine comedy. I am really exaggerating in this video. Lets have a good laugh. We are all only human.
@TheNakedWombat I was exaggerating. You have to admit, there are many Australians who fake their accent to sound even more country than they really are. And many Australians are not as tolerant and as broad minded as they claim to be. Scratch the surface, and most are generally quite conservative and sensitive to criticism. That doesn't mean we are special in this compared to others on Earth, but I was just making a point.
@VivaLaRaptor I wonder sometimes if it is a deliberate mistake with people in other countries, or if this is sarcasm. I think most know the difference. It is a sarcastic pitch just to annoy us.
Thanks for the advice. I'll be visiting Oz in November and wouldn't want to say anything to offend you lovely people that I SO adore! You'll have to tell me...what are some of the MUST see/do things in Sydney?
@PerennialPeace Thank you. Stay in touch. We might be having a YouTube gathering in October but this is not yet confirmed. You will want to do a Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb. It will not disappoint. Try to get to the Sydney Zoo, the one over the Harbour in Mossman by Ferry is much better than the one near the city. But next to the Zoo on the city, Darling Harbour, the underwater glass tunnels in the Sydney Aquarium are some of the best in the world, see the shark from below. And more...
@saintfletcher I'll definitely stay in touch. I'm coming with a couple of American girls that I met whilst in Ireland last year. I'm hoping that William will still be there and we can all get together for lunch or dinner. Would love to see you! Thanks for the suggestions for Sydney sightseeing. They are all on the list! xo
@PerennialPeace If you know William, I'm sure you will. That is, if he is still in the country. He probably will be but I think it is yet to be confirmed by Australian immigration officials, as his course will be over. I know he has a few ideas to stay.
Your obviously easily offended. Get over it

Most Aussies aren't offended by Shrimps. It gives us another reason to laugh at Americans. ;)
