Head Tracking is cool, BUT it wont give you depth, I got a head tracker, and I still use it with the Nvidia 3D Vision, so that I have depth too.

it's really a cool experience, but just remember head tracking is not an alternative for a 3D Vision kit..

they are different, but combined they are great :-)

It doesnt seem quite right for a virtual display. As you get closer to windows, you can see more in them (on them in the case of the display). They should only look larger because you are closer to the pixels, but in relation to the window they should be getting smaller not larger. Are you moving the camera, rather than changing the FOV and the view frustrum?

it's nice! But if I watch it trying to convince myself that there really is this blue room going into the monitor, the illusion quickly breaks because of perspective problems. If you could somehow improve how the changing viewpoint of the 3d scene responds to the viewer's (or camera's) placement in relation to the screen, this could look very convincing! especially when filmed in 2d like this. Right now perspective seems unreal. If i'ts bcoz of tracking latency, move camera slower. keep it up!

The Hz has nothing to do with this form of 3D affect. the Hz is only important for 3D effects that require shutter glasses that halve frame-rate in the process.

16fps is still WAY too slow to see fluid motion, this is a slide show and the whole way it works is via the video translating head motion into smooth motion of the bullseye targets corresponding to create the 3D effect.

The first time i saw these targets was in Johnny Chung Lee's vids where he does head tracking with a wiimote hooked up to his comp. I think his vids have a download link for the targets program
