Place the color into your eye socket if you do not have a defined crease. you should be able to feel a point on your lid where your brush can sink in under your brow bone.

I personally don't like drugstore blending brushes and think everyone should save and invest for one really good brush because I haven't come across one that is affordable and efficient.

I'm only a NC35 right now but in a few months i'll hit NC37. But for right now I can say it does show up and it's not supper shimmery but it definitely isn't matte. It comes off kinda satin-y. If that makes any sense! lol Try it out in the store!
