You know guys just because a person is beat in competition it doesn't mean they aren't a good instructor. Some of the best in the world are horrible instructors. Drysdale is much more accomplished then "Vinny" and is a much more renowned instructor. Victory in competition doesn't mean everything boys.

i think that the point system in bjj is useless most of the time and the match should continue until a sub is completed. this point system is taking a lot away from bjj.

@desicuellar bro if their was no point system matches would last hours, that would be very bad for bjj, no one wants to go to a tournament to have a potential 1 hour match. the worlds would take forever! it would literally have to be broken into like a week per belt rank. theirs submission only tournaments all over the place. and the point system is great, with out sweeps, dominant positions, controlling the pace with takedowns would all mean nothing.

This is a good league... its to bad its kinda closed. the website doesn't have an updated info, the UFC should buy this league and use it as a training ground for fighters to become better at grappling

@mmagamer4life Draculino has been in the grappling game for a long time. Drysdale is alot younger than him. MMA has changed drastically in just the past ten years. Citing data and fight facts from over ten years ago isn't legit. Look at Royce Gracie, his MMA game just doesn't hold up against the athletes of today. Doesn't mean that Royce won't own somebody in a grappling only setting. MMA is a sport. BJJ/ submission wrestling (no gi) is much different than mma.
