I'm not sure this is actually a Yiddish song though (although it may be but they are singing more in like standard German). I was wondering why you responded with this to the Saints and Tzadiks Yula which IS Yiddish?
In any event this is pretty good. Thanks for posting.
@Lechbanause2011 I have listened to this in a more traditional way and I must say this is a better rendition. Here is some Yiddish metal; a twist to traditional Yiddish folk songs, bit it really works. watch?v=jiXxq5OhRzU Here is the same tune sung traditionally watch?v=miUIkGCsPjk Here is another Yiddish tune so you can hear the language. watch?v=RW46yrhXJBI Another tune I like. watch?NR=1&v=pidj5rN-u9U I have loads of this stuff. Love Yiddish ... Grus in der heym :)

@Lagolop Yes, it´s an old german song. I responded to the Saints and Tzadiks video, just because of Lorin Sklamberg who appears in both songs.

Ah yes I understand now. It didn't sound exactly Yiddish to me which is a High German dialect and not like modern German.
This old folk song is a good one too and I like the way they are singing it. Have you seen this vid (if you like Sklamberg)?

Songs 1 and 2 are sung in Yiddish but the last is Irish Gaelic.
