  • Hi hi! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my sister lost a lot of weight with it.

  • Kinda like this video. Subterfuge!

  • It makes me so angry that our beautiful planet is sick so that we can have small the illusion of convenience.

  • For a few short weeks this summer we have easy access to wild alaskian salmon in Florida at the Publix.

  • 8:16 "It basically doesn't have any mercury in it..." LOL he said that as if he was whispering so the FDA won't send their hitmen after him.

  • 3:46 what about ancestry from any coastal region where fish was largely consumed? Like Greece, Sicily, Japan etc...?

  • Lorax reminds me of my Father. He's always researching and talking about these things. I'm lucky because it kept me from being an idiot.

  • how the HELL is this guy so wise??

  • I stick with salmon, herring and sardines for my omega-3 fatty acids.

  • This guy speaks facts. Go read a book and eat some tuna.

  • I really think the reason the media does not want you to know about how good fish is the same reason they want you to think vaccines and even mercury and fluoride is good for you. They really do want to keep the population brain damaged, it is grossly appearant, even though one does not beleive in conspiracy, you will notice that everything that is good for your brain is practically demonized on the media while the others are worshipped.

  • I dont really see much of good things being demonized. Im from the UK though. Maybe it is worse in America. There's alot of promotion of things being great that arent really that great for you. Like yogart. But I wouldnt say we get newspaper's saying that raw fruit and veg and nut's and berrys and organic food is bad for :D

  • Yea, you're not that affected by the american propaganda machine.

  • Can you please give an example of a food that's good for us but that is demonized by the media?

    Thanks!

  • Organic food is demonized from time to time. B-17 sources aren't even talked about. Sources of omega 3 have been demonized in the past (fish, and the mercury fear). They don't really mention wheatgrass, or kael foods. Today's diet can be almost completely replaced with vegetables and it isn't really being talked about. Oh and i'm not a vegan. The problem is not so much the demonization it's the big silence on important facts, such as the case for monsanto's GMO's.

  • your skin is amazing!!!

  • Looking forward to your next video :)

  • You forget the number one essential nutrient: cash.

  • One more thing: I know Lorax recommended a book on fats. I'm talking about information seeking in general and some solid, general guidelines to keep in ind. I hope someone can offer me some advice here.

  • For instance, I may put something into google, even "DHA" or "DPA", or something else about anxiety, and Google will turn up a site and on that very same site, there are advertisements related to the information. They say that a large portion of information on the internet is "hidden". I think this really means is you just have to know the routes to find the information that is closest to the truth and not propaganda, far on the other side of the spectrum.

  • very true about large portion of truth is hidde, but it is hidden in society everywhere. i wish i knew i myself where the proper routes were, im going to try a different search engine i think

  • Where do you all get your info? I will try to research something simple via databases (through my university's library and/or the municipal library network in my state) and turn up all sorts of studies and articles I don't need and are much higher on the pyramid (and narrow) than what I really need, which is much more close to universal and broad, but useful. This is a vague Q, but finding information along with having trust in the source are my biggest roadblocks in ANY info seeking, PERIOD

  • what about all the polution in cod liver oil? esp mercury! Does it not concentrate in the cod liver oil?

  • mercury is water soluble, you may find it in the meat but not in the oil.

  • Thanks so much for these videos.

  • Lorax, I often listen to your videos on my laptop which as limited amplification ability and often your voice is a whisper thereby, can you raise the volume via the software you use so I can evenly hear you please? I love your topics and steady voice!

  • Great videos lorax, keep them coming I enjoy them!

  • Lorax... I got to your channel today. Very well presented info.

I haven't eaten any meat/fish/eggs for 32 years and i'm in perfect health. Using diversified sources of veggies, fruits, nuts, bee pollen, honey, all organic, i consider myself ok on all macro/micro nutrients.

Most likely the problem with essential fatty acids is the wrong ratio omega6/3 in everyday diet, which includes in general too much omega 6(veg. oils).

The most balanced ratio Om.6/3 seems to be hemp seed.

    5*, fav/subed.

  • So if mercury is coming from the coal and going into the seas and waters and all, isn't it also going into the ground, soil, and would therefore be in our plants we eat along with the land animals we eat also? It would seem that this mercury would also be in everything else we eat also wouldn't it?

  • I've watched the great majority of your videos and wanted to say you rock. Keep'em coming! Fellow chemical/environMENTAL engineer here, -RLG-

  • I was thinking of why I enjoy these posts so, the after dinner sitting around the coffee table tone.

  • Yeah, he's not all in your face. He's more like: Here's what I have to offer..you are welcomed to either take it or leave it and offer me suggestions. Nor is he an attention monger, like too many videos/channels on YouTube.

  • tuna fish salad

  • What about beans? I eat alot of fruits, veggies, fish and meat sometimes and alot of beans. Are beans healthy?

Oh, and how much fish oil should we be eating?

  • The media is a big joke. I mean, completely a disgrace, which is why I am studying broadcasting, maybe I can in my own little way change some aspect of this null and void resource.

  • Wow. Thanks for the info!

  • Isn't Krill oil better than fish oil?

  • thanks for the posts lorax, Id love to sit down and have an interesting conversation with you. you seem to be a deep thinker like myself and youve definately given me plenty of food for thought (excuse the pun given the topic of the video lol)
