@saikouxs100 Yeah, this song was partially inspired by ICBM :). A little below in the comments, I think I explained how I created that sound. It was actually using a snare drum sample!

Somehow this stands out from the many Aggrotech bands out there. Really nice work on sounding dark and crushing. Xentrifuge is one of my favorites so the influence is very welcoming.

@gombie Thanks! Actually, Wumpscut's "War" and Xentrifuge's "ICBM" were a big influence on the percussion for this song.

Cool, how did you make that sound?

@gombie I took a white noise/snare sample and ran it through distortion and a filter (I think it was an LPF, but I'm not sure). I then changed the "note" of the sound by tweaking the filter cutoff and resonance.

I can't remember exactly what I did off the top of my head, but I essentially turned a drum sample into a musical instrument.
