@cardboard turtle: just so you know it's harder with a freecoaster because you can't control your speed like you can pedaling backwards with a casette also if you put pedal pressure down while rolling backwards with a freecoaster you bearings are gone instantly so ya cassette are easier.

A video like this of a pro like Karl Poynter using a freecoaster, and you get a person being critical of the freecoaster and everyone else just lays him the fuck out hahaha. Maintaining a slider is f-ing hard. I've been trying since last summer (i had a cassette up until the end of last stummer though) and cant get more than 4 or 5 feet but i can do a slider to get out of fakie. Karl has some serious control. i want to be at that level with my manuals and fakies.
