I've used Silverlight apps, and man are they awesome. Silverlight has more capabilities than Flash. Anyone who's smart knows that Silverlight is better.

uhu... just replace all the flash developer and designer community, or make them learn to use a totally different software that does the same thing... and you can replace flash.
So... let us with flash ;)

quicktime isn't interactive! who knows, it could replace flash.

Actually, Quicktime is interactive. It was one of, if not the, first interactive video formats.
