For anyone with multiple guitars or any stringed instruments, Stringtreat saves you hours f time and new strings for next to nothing. Before every show I wipe off the rust and residue and restore the ring to my strings. I now replace broken strings only for the most part for live performances. Its particularly useful when its an outdoor or a venue with a lot of lights and heat to deal with.
This product would be a lot less toxic than metal polisher. You might want to use this product to remove the metal polish residue. Not sure what the metal polisher is made of.
