@therockhouse This wont get you to an advanced level at all, you aren't teaching techniques in its execution, only in musicality, and secondly the musical lines are not advanced at all, they are simple strings of notes from scales everyone is aware of.

So "you" might wanna read, and by that i mean read something that really is advanced such as jazz methods, diminished possibilities, or super imposition.

Leave the teaching to someone who can actually teach, not because you can play above average

@therockhouse its not even intermediate, this is just another technique spamming dvd with a ridiculous title, your principles of harmonic and melodic approach are very very basic, i mean seriously... major and minor scale harmony? you call that advancement from intermediate to advanced?

I'll have to remind my students at university tomorrow that we are doing an advanced lesson, on major scale harmony, hopefully i dont get laughed at and lose my job

i am a guitar instructor for nearly 15 years.i can recognize a good guitar player from a mile.I think he is not amazing as you say,he hasn t have basic elements of guitar playing.But thats only my opinion

@kar98ksniper Actually, he's an amazing guitarist. The fact that he can take these advanced techniques and bring them down to a basic level to show you how the theory behind the playing works doesn't make this a beginners level video.

@therockhouse He doesnt sound like pro.When u are a rock player you need more energy,I didnt like his vibrato,it isnt the way it should be.Its not balanced.If u dont get what i mean,u should here Yngwie s vibrato,or maybe Gilbert s vibrato technic.The arpeggio doesnt sound the way it should be.Its not very clean and certain.I dont mean to bitchin anyone.I just express my opinion.If i m wrong,my apologies

@therockhouse thats easy, your vibrato isn't going up in balanced up and down rotations, the accuracy you are touching strings lightly and aggressively on a straight succession note phrase when it should be balanced, and your arpeggios are very badly intonated..
