  • Its guys that you and the beautiful music you make out of just one instrument that made me want to pick up the guitar. Ive been playing for about 2 years now. And this just gives me the urge to reach new hights. Even though the road is long and bumpy. Thank you for sharing.

  • how many friends does he have?

  • @watertazer Why?

  • @watertazer

I am learning guitar and I have decided to put a whole lot more effort and time. Therefore, I have lost many friends. So what if this guy has no friends ??? You are right here listening to him play though....so jokes on you. I would honestly. trade some of my "friends" to play this...and that's what ive done lol. Bin laden just got shot in the head close range style cause some he considered a "friend". In today's world, be careful what u give up for people u consider friends.

  • At first i was like, is he just gonna sit there and play chords?

    But this is fucking awesome.

  • That had a hell of a lot of soul in there.... Nice! I believe that was the A minor scale? Nice work, it's one of my favorite :D

  • thats pretty wicked, you are playing in A minor?

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY Yes, thanks ;-)

  • Wonderful!

  • I read "Hendrix Style" and instantly expected EPIC Fuzz...... but I suppose Distortion works too :D

  • very soulful. I just love this version. I've added to my favourites.

  • Please make another cover but with better sound quality. It sounds muffled with the background song.

  • Please make another cover but with better sound quality. It sounds muffled.

  • Wow, This is an amazing rendition.

  • Instantly my favorite version of the song. What can i say, im a sucker for the blues.

  • @lorenzo93m si, ho usato una loop station

    ;-)

  • @lorenzo93m si ho usato una loop station che registra in tempo reale il giro e poi lo ripete in loop.

  • Normally, I would say too much distortion, but since every single note is PERFECT, it works.....

  • damn this is amazing

  • yuck out of tune dude!

  • FUCKING AMAZING! You dont have the Strat and you dont sound or remind me of Hendrix, but you can kill the guitar

  • FUCKING AMAZING

  • complimentiiii!!!!!!!

  • this is sickkkk!!! fuckin right mann

  • Very nice! I enjoyed listening to this.

  • you only embaress your self when you put hendrix style , you ain't hendrix and don't even play like him and you don't even have a stratocaster ! so get it out of your mind that you even play like him

  • good man, but sounds nothing like Hendrix!

  • an you give me the tab for the solo please???

  • Amazing man !!!

  • It's a sad fact that Jimi Hendrix is gone now. He was a popular and well-performed guitarist during the '50's and '60's. And, to this fact, this song sounds great! Nice job!

  • @CanLifeBePossible You mean late '60's and 70's surely? He only got his first electric guitar in about '59.

  • love it!

  • Que version tan buena!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Have a listen to house of the rising sun by impact to hear a great solo.

  • Tone is everything, and you got it. Man, this makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!!!!

  • No one will ever surmount to hendrix

  • gorgeous <3 (no homo) ^_^ hi5^

  • Love To Try And Practice This Song...Not Like This.....But The Chords...

    Sounds awesome There Man.:)

  • Maneiro

  • This is fantastic. Props.

  • that was more Slash, but cool sound anyway :)

keep up the good work man, that was beautiful

  • I like this song because it gives you a good tempo to improvise your own solo or riff into it.

  • Nice gibson

  • @tehshakylemon its not a gibson

  • Super job young laddie. Most excellent.

  • sounds so awesome

  • One of the easiest 5/5 I've given.

  • Flawless..

  • Serious talent, bravo!

    Great Jam Session...

  • another think to say, hendrix made phrases short or mediums and then take a break, u did not make much break

  • you rock men, hendrix would be proud

  • ENCORE pleasee make a cover of stairway to heaven

  • @beastjman

thats not fake. hes using a loop effect.-_-

  • its good but no where near hendrix

  • If it ain't Lead Belly's way this is how I prefer to play this myself...but maybe try a little more Frijid Pink'ish style..it a blast to play! GOoD Job !

  • actualy IMAO it kinda sounds like David Gilmore

  • @andrasiboti lol i agree... he uses the scales hendrix used, but he plays like gilmour xD

  • OOhoo man.. this is badass!

  • NOT hendrix style but still very good but hendrix would of done somethin unimaginable

  • I totally agree :D

    So sad he is dead

    R.I.P. Jimi

  • that`s fake dumbass

  • Hmmmm I don't know...I would say thats more ALVIN LEE style....*S*

  • I'm very flattered by the comparison with Alvin Lee.

    ;-)

  • WOW! this version is so badass. I love the animals version, josh whites version, & many others. I also cover this song myself on piano. BUT this blows me away like no other version. Keep rockin'.

  • Thank you man !!!!!!

  • Very Cool-nice instrum

  • nice Les Paul!

  • is not original.....it's a Stagg

  • nice anyway, and also the way you play the song! carry on man!

  • the best version put on an album was done by the animals

this guy put a lot of soul into it that is why i enjoyed this version

  • thank you man !!!!!

  • Eric Burdon and the animals may not have written it ( I believe it dates back to around 1930) but it will always be their song!!!!

    Nice job zio... good cover.

  • House of the Rising Sun does not pertain to the animals. Its author remains anonymous.

  • Its a traditional song

  • not tired of it!

  • im still no tired of it!

  • great use of the crybaby

but i cant see you keeping it moving?

great job on a stagg even

    much props

    keep rocking

  • really enjoyed your playing. great use of the pentatonic scale. very bluesy and very cool.

  • Man you lossin up a little and you got it

  • YOU'RE AWESOME!!! You're the real master... keep rocking dude

  • beginner?? he sounds pretty expert to me...

  • KB7 said beginner because he play slow... maybe kb7 is a supafast metal-head

  • @vaffanculoutube - Yeah, he plays slow because this song actually goes this speed :P

  • @brienne - i knew it... in fact my comment was ironic

  • KB7, try something by your self before you write more fucking comments...

  • Wow, it was a joke man...come on

  • Great job! I would also like to say that i think it is funny how guitarists, including me, might sometimes make certain facial expressions or gestures, depending on what they are playing. :)

  • it sounded nice, I thought it was a bit repetitive. stayed in major scale (Pentatonic)

  • Thank you guys......

  • This is cool, id like to see what you can do with my version??

  • your the MASTER - Great !

  • this is fucking great ! i love your version been listening to it like 50 times in a row

  • sounds a little more a nice cross between Mike McCready of Pearl Jam and Magic Sam

Magic Sam was a influence on Hendrix

McCready was heavily influenced by hendrix

  • Hendrix and McCready are my reference point in guitar style.....

    thank you

  • Nice! Sounds very great.

  • Didn't really feel like Hendrix to me but amazing nonetheless.

  • This is the best Version of this song ive heard, Great playing man!!!
