The best part of this whole address is that it comes just a couple days after he told a High School that they needed to begin taking responsibility for their actions. Umm... Didn't the Democrats have the majority in the House and Senate during 2008 and 2009? That kinda means they had to pass the budgets for those years, and they had to pass the bailouts. Bush couldn't have added to the deficit in those years without Democratic support of his plans or spending..

The thing is you can get away with pointing out how bad things are once you arrive in office. However, once you've been there for a year or more, it's time to start taking responsibility for what has happened under your watch. Blaming isn't leading. While I'm not a Bush fan, I do know that most of our problems are not solely because of him. The U.S. Congress has just as much, if not more blame for our current situation as the Bush administration regardless of party affiliation. Complacent, whiney, irresponsible, and above all, corrupt. The biggest "change" we'll see will be in November when all are removed and replaced.
