someone start a petition to get this game released outside of Japan. Sega has stated that due to the low sales of VC2 outside of Japan, that they do not plan to release this game in Europe or the US. If we can petition for the game to be released as a download title, we can get to play the game and Sega could save money on the cost of producing discs.

I played the demo or VC3 and now I want to play it real badly!, the only problem is that even though I have the game mechanics down to a T, I can only understand a few words that they say, so I'm pretty much missing out on the dialogue. hopefully, HOPEFULLY, SEGA will release VC3 in NA later this year like they did with VC2

I have finished the game until now 3 times ( the gameplay is great and the intro is awesome ) . Nameless squad at the beginning ,but as a captain of the squad I left a great name , The options in battle are very good , exactly what I expecting from SEGA . One of the greatest RPG on PSP games of 2010 . I was stupid for not buing it earlier .
Why can't they just put these on the PS3? I hated when you had to transfer between maps in Valkyria Chronicles 2 because the PSP wasn't capable of producing the amazingly vast battlefields of the original. I also hope there is an option to shoot Avan in this game...it could happen.

I agree with you in 1 thing, Valkyria Chronicles should come back to the PS3 instead of portables.
if you wanna talk about games, the 3DS games that are out aren't that impressive, but a very impressive list of games such as uncharted and LBP will be available for the NGP, and it's not going to be overpriced, im pretty sure of it.
Both the PSP and DS are never a waste, something that is EASILY pirated is not a waste.
At least one Valkyria is fully playable with lance, shield and flames, as opposed to being on your side but computer controlled or having a stat boosting trait. So I think this is a first for the series.
Snipers? They were never gone. They were changed to an advanced class of the scout in VC2 and will probably be the same in VC3.
Zzzz PSP is an almost dealbreaker for me. The 2nd one was screwed because it was so technically limited, and they had to squeeze in everything on UMD and even then, it showed.
They're obviously making it on PSP rather than PS3 because it's quicker and cheaper (allowing them to cash in on the anime's popularity)

Man the 1st Valkyria Chronicles was and STILL is the best for the simple fact that it was for home systems. Yeah it's cool that you can play VC 2 and 3 wherever you want but it's just not the same as going home and playing it through a loud ass stereo system smh...still though, VC FTW haha
The first Valkyria Chronicles is one of the most under appreciated gems of this gaming generation. Amazing story with vivid art style, and a unique, in-depth game-play that was both addictive and innovative. The second and third instalments not getting home console releases is a crime.
@TheRealVordox cheaper this way sadly. Milk Milk Milk. Not a strong enough market outside of Japan for it on the PS3, and the market for the PSP is strong enough in Japan, Valkyria was not strong enough outside Japan on either platform, the first game was a masterpiece which I doubt of quality would show ever again after I played it and I was right, sales hurt it enough to make it not logical to make more on the PS3 as well.

You already have the first one on PS3, which you can play whenever you are at home. You already have the second one, which you can play whenever you are, no matter what. At least one Valkyria is fully playable with lance, shield and flames, as opposed to being on your side but computer controlled or having a stat boosting trait. So I think this is a first for the series.
Snipers? They were never gone. They were changed to an advanced class of the scout in VC2 and will probably be the same in VC3.

Zzzz PSP is an almost dealbreaker for me. The 2nd one was screwed because it was so technically limited, and they had to squeeze in everything on UMD and even then, it showed.
They're obviously making it on PSP rather than PS3 because it's quicker and cheaper (allowing them to cash in on the anime's popularity)

Man the 1st Valkyria Chronicles was and STILL is the best for the simple fact that it was for home systems. Yeah it's cool that you can play VC 2 and 3 wherever you want but it's just not the same as going home and playing it through a loud ass stereo system smh...still though, VC FTW haha

The first Valkyria Chronicles is one of the most under appreciated gems of this gaming generation. Amazing story with vivid art style, and a unique, in-depth game-play that was both addictive and innovative. The second and third instalments not getting home console releases is a crime.

@TheRealVordox cheaper this way sadly. Milk Milk Milk. Not a strong enough market outside of Japan for it on the PS3, and the market for the PSP is strong enough in Japan, Valkyria was not strong enough outside Japan on either platform, the first game was a masterpiece which I doubt of quality would show ever again after I played it and I was right, sales hurt it enough to make it not logical to make more on the PS3 as well.

You already have the first one on PS3, which you can play whenever you are at home. You already have the second one, which you can play whenever you are, no matter what. I would have loved for the third one (and JUST the third one) to be on PC. I mean, I love my PS3 and my PSP, but my PC also needs some lovin :D
