  • KNOCKED 'IM OVERRRR!

  • I was there. :D

  • what is trolling

  • Missing off? Tony Greig is crickets biggest joke. Please give the broadcast rights back to the ABC so we can listen to some intelligible commentary instead of the dribble of Greig and co.

  • @Quincycle Hasn't 9 had the broadcast rights for like 40 years?

  • @thevas1 that's 40 too many, mate.

  • Hope Johnson doesn't play at least for awhile. Australia have a very good pace attack now.

  • dont think johnson will wear the baggy green again but i think he will be back in the odi side. everyone has bagged johnson bout his bowling, they have completely forgotten johnson is a bowling allrounder who is a more than capable number 7 or 8 batsman. he could come back as an elite batsman in one day and t20 cricket.

  • @dj6ful yes well if you add a few extra runs from your bowling you might as well chip in some extra runs in your batting

  • 2:02 MITCHELL JHONSONS THE MAAN!!

  • hahahahah 1:34 "go back to south africa"

  • LMFAO @ ChrisCarver23... Steve Smith had to be one of the WORST test selections of all time...okay the selectors can make mistakes but they hung onto him like grim death for over a year! amazing stuff!

  • @vMrMysteriousv 100% correct

  • LOOK AT THAT SWING

  • steve smith and phil hughes in the same team? we had to lose yeh?

  • Well done CA bowling coaches you took potentially one of the best fast bowlers ever and fucked his action and now his career.

  • When Johnson bowls like this he is unstoppable. It's a shame he's so inconsistent. I hope he comes back in form and into the frame soon. Cummins, Pattinson, Hilfenhaus, Siddle, Harris, Lyon, and Johnson... things looking up for Australia in the bowling department

  • This was the only time during the ashes Mitch did anything. Such an impressive test match, such a disappointing series for him :(

  • THE WORLDS MOST INCONSISTENT BOWLER. ONLY REASON HE PLAYS FOR AUSTRALIA IS THAT THEY ARE VERY WEAK. BRING ON BANGLADESH.

  • so good when he is on.

  • why cant he swing the ball like this anymore

  • i was there. what a day. but what a bad series by the aussies though :/

  • 2:00 ..The commentator orgasmed. Hard

  • that spell of bowling defies every logic about swing bowling, i learnt that to make a ball swing, the seam should be standing up, not "tumbling" like mitch has it ! ah well, still a handy spell of bowling !

  • that is a terrible seam position

  • @K786Salman Go get 6 wickets against international cricketers, kthxbye

  • @K786Salman

In case you didn't see, 6/38.

Maybe you should try it if you actually play cricket, which I doubt.

  • @nathanstorm7 Lol...Cummins/Johnson are out of 2-3 tests against india.Maybe Harris too.

  • @aayush111112

    Johnson's out for 6 months.

Cummins will probably be back for the third test in Perth or the fourth in Adelaide.

Harris will potentially play at the MCG on Boxing Day, his recovery has been on track.

Don't underestimate Siddle and Pattinson on their home-deck.

  • @nathanstorm7 And don't underestimate Sehwag ;), When he is in form he can rip any bowling attack

  • @aayush111112

I don't think anyone will be underestimating Sehwag after that knock ;)

  • @nathanstorm7 I hope Harris will be fine for the boxing day test.Watching his spells are delightful.I think he's the best bowler australia have got.

  • @aayush111112 He's certainly the most consistent and in-form bowler Australia have got, but he will be lucky to string 2 Tests together again in his career, he is just too injury prone.

  • @nathanstorm7

Harris is comming back on boxing day! he'll play the first test, he made an offical announcement on dec 7th!

  • i was there!

  • shut up toni grieg you are a the definition of dick head!

  • I was there, great display from Johnson

  • England still won the ashes so fuck you Australia.

  • @loveenglandcricket Well that's a very nice thing to say.

  • This was not a good Ashes for Australia but i am happy to say that i picked the right day to go. Got into that second day at the WACA for 50 bucks (dont ask me how) and boy did i get my moneys worth

  • four people are the people are that got bowled by Mitchell

  • tony greig you are a joke!

  • "Mitchell Johnson's the man!" shut up Slater you knob

  • 5:29 sounds like a ripper of a fart

  • Great quality.

  • why is tony greig such an idiot?

  • @cabinet96vids Obviously either a troll or a pom.

  • @reeceau92 Excuse me?

  • @reeceau92 what?!

  • haha the 1 hour of his test carrer he actually bowled on the stumps and it was all an accident cause hes never done it since please drop this guy

  • @bobbythelord He can and does do it occasionally, the only problem is that he's inconsistant with bowling well.

  • tony greig you knob

  • The thing I remember most about this match is the Aussies when they started to take wickets, suddenly became all gobby and started sledging everyone. The game before Ponting had gone up moaning to Strauss that little Jimmy had been sledging too much LOL, funny how it only lasted the one game, only sledge when your winning seems to be their way.

  • I remember watching this, and even though we didn't strike straight away, there was a feeling that something magical was gonna come from Johnson.

  • how the hell did he swing those in swingers with a scrambled fast left offspinner defies physics

  • MITCHELL JOHNSON'S THE MAN!!

    Michael Slater's commentary is awesome!

  • he bowls to the left, he bowls to right, ohhhhhhhh that's mitchell johnson his bowling is shite

  • @NathanCoalbine

    Not in that test

  • The trouble for Aus is their bowlers more often than not are not penetrating enough. Mitch has a day like this once a year, Siddles a workhorse but nothing special, hilfenhous is predictable, and hopeless without swing and Harris is injury prone. Watsons a handy fifth bowling option but wont tear through a half decent side and not one spinner used inthe series was test standard.

  • 6:30 - Edge.. Straight to shayne watson.. That will do!!

oh piss of you stupid aussies, england are worlds number 1, come back when you can play cricket!!!!

  • How can he swing with a scrambled seam!

  • @Venchey Fluke in most cases. By his own admission, Mitch has no control over which way the ball swings. Or even if it does or not, in the first place. That explains the inconsistency, I guess.

  • @TheAdventurer1988 yeah couldn't agree more

  • i heard mitchell johnson had a HORRIBLE ashes series, but these figures are terrific?

  • @mohammadzafar It was all the other games that were why he had a horrible ashes. We saw the full range of Mitch in the series.

  • @mohammadzafar yeah he was terrible in all the other games. Match figures of 0-170 in Brisbane and didn't take more than 4 wickets in any other match in the series.

  • @CoolStoryBrosauce England didn't have 2 innings in all the other matches in the series.

  • @cabinet96vids exactly :P

  • @cabinet96vids they did in brisbane

  • @youbetzler All the other matches meaning everywhere except Brisbane and Perth.

  • @mohammadzafar

    Yeah.

    Brisbane: Abhorrent.

    Adelaide: DNP (dropped)

    Perth: Flawless

    Melbourne: Awful

    Sydney: Abhorrent.

Real barometer for us, Mitch Johnson. Shame he's usually shit.

  • @mohammadzafar yeh dude, this was his home ground and where he has best bowling and best figures. HE bowls well at this ground

  • @mohammadzafar his bowling made the series almost unbareable to watch

  • if Australia played like they did against england in the 1st and 3rd test they would of done a lot better

  • 3:07.....

talk about squaring a batsman up, incredible delivery... away swinging yorker.

  • @CoolStoryBrosauce In all honestly I reckon it was a complete accident. His arm means his the full delivery is always miles to the off side (down leg to the left hander) luckily though it swung and ended up being a magic ball.

  • @cabinet96vids Yeah I know it was pretty much a fluke, he's even admitted he has no idea how swing works. (Bit weird for a bowler who is supposed to be a swing bowler??), it would've been the juiciest of leg stump half volleys but ended up being an awesome delivery.

I can't see MJ having much of a future in the Aus side TBH, unless he somehow develops Mcgrath-like line/length, he's just not dependable, and when he doesn't swing it, quality batsmen cash in....

  • Shame he can't do this consistently....

Bowling coach should hang his head in shame.

  • @CoolStoryBrosauce It wasn't even him generating the inswing, it was the wind. If you watch the seam of the Trott and Pieterson wickets you can see it's scrambled. It makes sense because the Kookaburra ball doesn't usually swing this late in the innings.

  • @cabinet96vids Yeah I know, but he swung it in Durban and at Headingley and Edgbaston, with no breeze to assist him, the difference was that on occasion he'd get the seam reasonably upright and pointing towards the slips (to a left hander). And that IS something you can work on to get more consistent at.

  • At 5:40, that was one of the best balls I've ever seen bowled.

  • @thevas1 you serious? that was a pretty average ball, most of his other balls despite being really flukey were far better than this one

  • wow if he bowled half as well consistently he wud be one of the best

  • amazing spell- that 1 hour patch gave us a chance in the ashes otherwise we would of lost this game by an innings as well!

  • Superb performance especially after the Brisbane game and being dropped at Adelaide.
