It`s sad. First, at 2009, we had bought tickets to see Dio live for the first time. Then he got cancer. Later, we where about to buy some new ones to see him sometimes in 2010, then he died. Its sad, cause Dio was my favourite vocalist since i was six (no, i am not kidding)

I had the privelidge to see all the tours with Dio as well as Turner. Totally different bands, both where great but there was never a doubt that it was Blackmore's band. That Rainbow was cool but it made too much noise. Some nights it was almost as loud as the band. One concert there was such a buzz that Blackmore walked off and cancelled the show. Brings back some great memories..........

i saw rainbow early 80`s in edinburgh -ingleston to be exact , and saw RJD on his own . Never got to see the classic lineup. even at the grand old age of 45 as i am now ...i saw most bands , but missed out on a few classic lineups.
