  • Everything you said I agree with 100%!

  • @timtuttle1 Awesome!

  • @freakishlemon I honestly think the Inkheart books are my favorites. I have never related to characters as much as the ones in these books...

  • this is lindsay's friend laura, haven't read inkdeath yet, but think you might enjoy "the black magician trilogy" written by trudi canavan. John (my sweetie) and i are addicted to books but i'm picky and he isn't, inkheart caught my eye, but unless i re-read the first two there will be no point in me reading the third... sorry about the horrible punctuation

    =^_^=

  • Inkdeath is worth taking the time to reread the first two. That's what I had to do and, even though it took me forever to finish Inkspell again, I'm glad I did it.

  • Im not sure why, but I cant finish Inkdeath. It seems to have lots its spark. I'm not sure if its becasue my two favorite characters die, or something else.

I also feel like the story is not really going anywhere.(At the current moment) I just started chapter 17....

gaaa, Im a picky reader. It also might be from too much fanfiction... lol

  • Fanfiction will do that. XD

  • I am a bit busy reading Brisingr so I might not read Inkdeath for a while, but one thing I really like about it is the cover. It's pure artistry in my opinion. I spent the first 5 minutes after getting the book just looking at the detail. I did read it a bit, though, and I must say Orpheus is a, ummm... INTERESTING person.

  • I need to get a hold of a copy of Brisingr just so I can finish off that trilogy, but I completely agree with the cover art of Inkdeath. It's gorgeous.

  • At the end of Brisingr, it says this:

Here ends the third book of the Inheritance cycle. The story will continue and conclude in book four.

I don't know why the author decided to change things up. I guess he couldn't fit everything into a 500-or so page story. At least it lets him open his imagination just a bit more. Still, I detest waiting another year for the end.

  • Hmm. That's a bit of a pain in the butt.

I'm not really invested in that story, so I won't really have a problem with the wait when I eventually get around to reading Brisingr, but that's got to suck for the fans.

  • Near the end of the book I was screaming "NO! I HATE YOU ORPHIUS!" (Me and my spelling)

I hope the Inkheart movie does well, because I want to see Inkdeath as a movie!

  • Because of the way they adapted Inkheart, they can't really make any of the other books into movies. But the Inkheart movie is really good. I went to go see it yesterday with my parents and my youngest brother, who have all read the book and liked the movie. I'll be doing a review of it on my review blog sometime today, if you want to check it out.

  • Yeah. I haven't seen it but I heard of it. *shuts trap so no spoilers from me*

  • Inkdeath sounds like an awesome book. I'll have to read that series.

  • It's definitely worth getting into.

  • Yeah, I'll be busy for the next couple weeks doing online health and going to the gym to get my PE hours. Then I'm going to read like crazy!
