You could have got a better time to 90 than that with a mean launch. It looked slow to some because you have lag, but your pull powerband is nice. My car pulls the exact same way with my 50trim

@Rtree115. Ur correct. With dsmlkink and antilag and the hx35 that's on it now, its way faster and no lag at launch ;) ill have to make another speedo vid this weekend and well see how much better. Methanol too, stay tuned!

@icerat11 rebuilt to stock using regular arps for head studs not l19's, with an oem mitsu head gasket. get your self an hx 40 pro with the billet wheel they are dirt cheap. and if you have any questions about it you can ask

@bb4jdmlude hahaha well like i said, mines still original 130k miles. the hx35 with methanol and dsmlink is plenty right now...i own a house too, so i cant just keep throwing money at it :) its pretty fast as it is now! ill get some new vids up soon with it all perfected as it is now.

its to bad, the cameras still dont pick up the "jet" pitch of the turbos. i need a nicer micraphone on my camera or something...they sound better in person!....and im going to be dynoing it soon

haha , no i was referring to my last turbo as well, the 16g...it sounded better than the camera could pick up, just like in my newer vids, it cant pick up the sound of the holset very well

ya its my buddys, i win everytime. weve got a few suped up STIs around here, I just raced them and a Twin Turbo Supra 50-160mph over the weekend, beat em all. give me a few weekds to get the vid made up :)

the air that you've already metered goes back into your intake tract instead of into the atmosphere. it's essentially a boost leak. it doesn't matter much.

ya but that oil getting pushed out from the valve cover there goes by my turbo...so thats why i put the breather there...couple of drops only but i still dont like oil pooling by my turbo

that's why you use an inline filter. it catches the oil and lets the air through.

the filter doesnt work, thats why you use a catch can.

i've never seen a filter that magically didn't work unless it was clogged. they're cheap, you can change them out regularly. or you can use a catch can, just make sure it's a sealed system. the ones with the filter on top are just as bad as putting a filter straight on the valve cover.
