We rely heavily upon SCUBA gear for life support, it is similar but different. New procedures, training and precautions. You never want to go deeper or stay longer than you can comfortably return from without the scooters aid.

like what I was doing almost 40 years ago? do it all the time still, prefer scooter free diving though for wrecks and deeper drop offs. variety is important you will discover one of these days
