the reason it sounds better with a single pipe is because your running the sound of 6 cylinders in one pipe. two pipes are like running two, 3 cylinders next to eachother. love the sound.

I have a 1968 i6 200....I am putting on the same FlowMaster 40 Delta witha 2 1/4 inch pipe...single exhaust...Your car sounds GREAT!!! I can't wait to hear how my i6 200 sounds!!!!

@jdomingue honestly im not sure which 40 series it is. i didnt even know there were diff kinds of the 40s when it was put on. chances are its the delta 40 though. thank you! i appreciate it!

thanks man. it was just one 40 series muffler with 1 and 3/4 inch piping all the way back. nothing else was done to it at that point.

that sounds really good man. What did you put on it? flowmaster 40 and thats it? do you have one or two mufflers? or is it dual running out of one muffler? sounds pretty dang good man. did oyu do anytyhing else to the carb or anythng ?

that sounds hella good. so oyu have new pipe, ne dual 40's and thats it? you do not have a header dual out at this point? it sounds good do you have a y pipe? x pipe? do you have any advice? im planning on making my 6 banger sound like that with duals as well

How is the exhaust run? Do you have a dual exhaust header, or is it just one flowmaster pipe, one muffler, and one tailpipe?

Car sounds good. I'm waitin' on my 6 into 2 header gets in so I can slap it on my 68. I'll post up a vid of at as son as I do. That's the 200 3.3 right?
