Dude that's Ipe isn't it? That's why you have to pre-drill! Do you still have to pre drill if it's sofer wood? Ahhh, who care I don't use that pressure treated softwood or ugly fake wood deck boards any way. Nothing but hardwoods for me so I guess I'm re-drilling.
