This was before Keith was treated for alcohol addiction. They both had hit the sauce pretty heavy in GR that night. I'm not a fan of Keith's, but Gary is the best! His CD's are intense. I miss cowboy Gary's look and style; don't like the look he's adopted from Keith-hate it, actually. But Gary's been through hell and back. Angela took some of Gary's best with her to the grave, but he's a survivor. I'm surprised that he didn't remarry yet, but I'm sure he will and she will be HOT!

That is the problem-too many country musicians are trying too hard to not look or sound cowboy Nashville anymore. I see their switch to the grunge look as conforming to the mainstream top-40 artist look. Keith Urban does suck. I like Gary's old look and sound a lot better. I'm not scared of his new look or take issue with it, I simply like Gary's cowboy style and sound a lot better. He's a class-act with a lot of talent who has been through 3 marriages, including Angela's suicide.

I disagree. Look at Gary's first 5 CD's. He was dressed cowboy, not grunge. His wife's suicide has revealed a darker, grungier look. He looked better in Western boots, duster and his Stetson. I've always hated Keith Urban's look, too. Not country at all.
