  • all the haters go suck unuh mada bolt a world beater from youth days.the first and only junior to run sub 20.a nuh like him just emerge he came through the ranks.look at him from boys champs he has always been a phenom.mi vex mi cant see none a unuh fi box dung unuh rass!!!

  • why?

  • He isn't on steroids. I've seen multiple foods that state it is "Jamaican Dumplings" that he eats. They don't contain any performance enhancing drugs or "substances that are undetectable." I'm not saying it is for sure the Jamaican Dumplings he eats, I am just pointing out that there are a lot of videos that say that.

  • Bolt is bad as hell but i think he is doing roids too. Tyson gay will beat his ass

  • Fuck you, You Yankee fuck, because you guys always use to cheat and you cant cheat anymore, cant payoff people anymore, Jamaica is number one when it involves running. I know that you all are jealous, but get use to it because he is going to be around for some time. I must say that your Tyson Gay looks like a rat. Jamaica awe run things

  • GO GAY GO!!!

  • thank u

    its true

u cant go from an unkwon sprinter in 2007 to Olympic Champion in 08

still Asafa Powell is the best runner iThink

  • Haribos?

  • The EASIEST 9.85 you will ever see.. Tyson Gay watch out!

  • jamaica needs to get better cameramen and shoot more than ONE angle of this race.. 9.85 is fast, and it deserves better coverage than this..

    Im disappointed.

  • yeah if powell and bolt dint slow down yeah id say powell a 9.65 and bolt 9.55

  • haha,lol. no chance

  • U never know. Obikwelu might cross the finish line twice. lol

  • It's completely ridiculous that Bolt started cruising about 15-20 meters out. He's scary fast. I'm saying someday, maybe not in Beijing, but someday the man runs a 9.59. He shut down WAY early and ran a 9.85.

  • remember maurice greene before he hurt his knee he ran 9.87 in sydney and blew his acl 65 meters down the track he would have samshed the record that day at the speed he was traveling

  • Powell would have to anchor because he is not the best curve runner.

  • no bt he can do 2nd and bolt do anchor

  • Interesting that Said Ndureh has been left out of the predictions after consistently running low 10s for the past two seasons. Obikwelu has not been on form and the Americans are inconsistent except for Gay and Patton.

  • Here's My Olympic 100m final Predictions: Feel free to leave yours as well. Im interested on what everyone has to say. I also think the WR is getting broken, and top 3 are under 9.80, and all 8 finallists under 10.00 (if the wind isn't negative) 1.Bolt 2.Gay 3.Powell 4.Dix 5.Atkins 6.Obikwelu 7.Patton 8.Obikwelu
  • ye gud bt u put Obikwelu twice lol my predictions: (if theres a tailwind)

    1Bolt 9.72

    2Gay 9.79

    3Powell 9.80

    4Dix 9.87

    5Obikwelu 9.87

    6Atkins 9.94

    7Patton 9.96

    8Thompson 10.03

  • No medal for Powell in Beijing. Bolt and the americans are strong.

  • powell will get bronze i think behind bolt and gay. he'll just edge dix and obikwelu. Obikwelus been bad last coupla yrs, bt in madrid recently he ran 10.09 into a -2.0m/s headwind and he showed the same powerful strides he had in athens when he ran 9.85.

  • ASAFA TAKES 44 STEPS

    USAIN TAKE 41

  • Heck no! Did he really run 9.85 after stopping at 80?

  • What was the winners time?

  • 9.85sec @ cruising speed

  • tell that to the americans who r showin off with tyson gay win aided 9.68 run...bolt actually walk cross di line n ran tyson gay former PB....

  • the man take 41 steps for 100m unheard all and I'm a Yank it's over Bolt height and stride makes him unequal in the 100m dash. It's that simple!!!!

  • bolt is going to win the 100m in Bejing.

  • Nope

  • he ran 9.68 but with 4.1 wind

  • Yep. Tyson won US Trials with 9.68, fastest ever in any conditions.

  • what are the results of the u.s 100m mens final today

  • Its starts on nbc at 7:00est but the ran at 4:49pac

  • If anybody is breaking the record is going to be BOLT again soon. The way he runs the 100m is amazing, he is strong enough to get out with the fastest guys but yet(being a 200m guy) he has more endurance than anyother 100m runner from there I see him only getting faster.

  • gay might break the record today. he ran 9.77 yesterday

  • dream on that was a fast track under spectacular condiotions even some no names ran well . that tells the story lets see what will happen when he faces bolt on a fast track

  • You mean like he did in osaka? When tyson gay beat his ass in the 200m(which is bolt's event). Tyson has proven himself in the 100m he has a world championship under his belt. powell cant say the same nor can bolt. These people might be some no names to you but to the people who actually know track field know them. travis padgett is a junior in college and just ran a 9.85

  • I have alot of respect for team JA, but dont disrespect ours with you false info

  • yeah he might run fast again today

  • tru ting... di guy who came third in bolts 100m WR race ran 10.sum ting n he waz giving it every ting, n in the trials i waz supprised to c him running 9.84 actually 6 of them ran sub 9 time....supprisingly

  • Unofficially there was more than likely a malfunction with the wind gauge during the quarterfinals. The wind was eratic all through the heats from prelims to finals. Yet during the quarterfinals we are to believe that the wind held at steady +1.6 for four races, when it hadn't held steady for two races during the whole Olympic trials. You won't see any of those guys outside of Gay and maybe Dix run that fast again for the rest of the year.

  • Enough about Fraser. I was looking for Carter to figure in somewhere there. 4 x 100m team should be:

    1st leg - Bolt

    2nd leg - Frater

    3rd leg - Carter

    Final leg - Powell.

Now I dont even know whats up with Carter, since he did start the finals.

  • You should always put your strongest leg at 3rd, or at least thats what the coach at baylor says.

  • no yute dat nah go rite

    1st leg-frater

2nd leg- bolt or powell(i wud say powell)

    3rd leg-cater or anderson

final leg-bolt or powell(i wud say bolt because he has a strong finish)

  • ye bolt shud do anchor cos of his speed endurance on 200, hell catch evry1. plus hes never really done changeovers he can just take it and go.

  • Powell should be 2nd leg and Bolt should be anchor. Powell doesnt have a good maintain phase on his 100. Its the reason why Gay and Atkins gain on him at the end of races. He doesnt have that classic kick like a Donovan Bailey, Carl Lewis, or Maurice Greene. His best part of the race is the first 2/3rds. If you watched last years 4x100 final, you notice Powell gained a lot of ground on the U.S. but he gained most of it in the first 60 he didn't close hardly at in the last 40 meters.

  • ye i agree

    1.Michael Frater/Marvin Anderson

    2.Asafa Powell

    3.Nesta Carter

    4.Usain Bolt

  • powell stated to the media prior to the trials that he was still coming off his injury and hadnt hit form and was still working and was going to do only what was needed to get to beijing. his 9.90 in the prelims showed him shut down at 60m...however have you ever seen such an easy 9.85 as bolt just did?...i dont think gay has the speed to split them myself...but powell's champ record could allow him to fit in there.

  • Don't exaggerate Powell's prelim run. In Powell's first 100 meter heat at the JA Championships, Powell looked like he ran hard the whole way, he didn't noticeably let up at all that I could see. He did noticeably let up in the final though once Bolt caught him at about 50 meters.

  • terrible!!!

Now i can see a stronger 4x100 in JJOO than Osaka relay... with Michael Frater on this level.

  • olympic prediction.

    1. bolt

    2. gay

    3. powell (becuse he tends to give up if someone is beating him)

  • Yes he shut it down at 60 when he saw Bolt easily striding ahead of him. A shame as both men would have run terrific times had they both ran hard all the way through.

  • i agree with you , i thought he should have ran the race

  • no it wuddnt make any sence, dem only ran to quailfy, dem sed they didnt want to chance any injuries so them played it safe, bolt n powell not competeing yet dem have to stay injury free till di olympics to go up against gay n beat him.
